Orchidée Rouge

This is quite possibly the most gorgeous addicting thing I've ever smelled, like I'm addicted as I keep smelling the lid of my sample to get a fix, I'd never know by the notes what it smells like either, Its hard to even pick out a note, because it's so expertly blended to just a super warm but sweet/citrus/caramel/almond milk/slightly spicy/a bit of florals/a tiny bit woodsy, super creamy smooth and delicious scent. I don't smell any rum which is a good thing for me as I don't like heavily booze scents, but it must be adding something. Even though a lot of notes look gourmandy, it's not really a gourmand though it's definitely a fragrance and not something you smell that think it's edible. It's just so smooooth and everything from the top note to the dry down is intoxicating. Sora dora has some AMAZING PERFUMES.. this and Mandorle being my top, Mandorle is possibly more popular since the notes are easier to identify, but the rest are worth trying definitely try a discovery set. It's expensive yes but this is the quality of what I think a niche perfume should smell like, so it's worth it to me.

This is immediately amongst top scents I've smelt. spraying from a decant sample: Initial blast is strong concentration projecting sweet boozy, rapidly morphing through various aspects, i get the vanilla almond and rum for a minute, the orange and bergamot sweeps in like the synth string of roy ayers loving the sunshine, the fresh bright elemi announces itself, that almond pops back up. occasionally in the first hour i was reminded of mercedes club black by the combination of vanilla and bergamot but that's in passing as there's so many other things, other directions, facets. The carmel, almond, rum, cinnamon, orange oil. Really really good, and also strong. The last hours for me are the vanilla with just a hint of the almond. For me, this is easily full bottle worthy, amongst select company.

Reminds me of TropiCola Champagne Soda, which tastes like dark classic cola, bubblegum, and vanilla cream; sometimes I think it tastes a bit like Big Red too. It’s an alluring bubblegumy dark vanilla cola that is borderline boozy. Sweet but not too gourmand, feminine but not girlie. It's edgy, dark and unique in my opinion. It macerates fairly quickly and preformed better and longer after some weeks. It’s so compatible with my body chemistry and very carnal. Signature scent worthy. The gorgeous bottle came with a suede silky handkerchief; it just adds to everything there is to love about this fragrance and how it overall makes me feel. The vibe: Imagine being under my spell and I didn't cast one

I tried this one, Jany and 7 from Sora Dora, and I enjoyed this one the most as a guy, compared to the other ones I tried this one didn't have a harsh opening, instead it had a beautiful caramelized vanilla with some booziness mixed in, almost like a lotion, I find it to be very pleasant and unique, this is something that'd definitely stand to me in a crowd and in a good way as well, it is very fem but it simply is just so gorgeous smelling that I'd wear it as a guy as well

Warm, boozy, and sparkly in the best way. It opens with a smooth liqueur like sweetness that feels rich but still bright, then settles into creamy vanilla with soft blended florals. Elegant, indulgent, and just really beautiful on the skin.

Luxurious sticky caramel vanilla gourmand with boozy touches and gorgeous powdery almond. Saccharine and mouth wateringly delicious. Perfect for autumn date nights and cosy winter days.

my mind clicked the second of the first spray - this smells almost EXACTLY like Sensual Orchid by Laurent Mazzone I had to check the notes - and yep, it's almost a clone, this one is just nearly 10 years later release more on point - a lovely, overtly feminine, sweet (or honeyed I'd say), florals - heliotrope, ylang-ylang, sweetened by almond, vanilla, caramel, all blended in a sweet floral trail you would be leaving behind you... it's the male head turner kinda fragrance you wear when you want to feel like a delicate soft-spoken lady in a sexy summer dress drawing attention as you pass by I think I need one full size of this type (for occasional wear, not every day probably), not sure which one though, let's see how this one performs, reviews below are not raging about projection (what you'd care about for this type of perfume) and longevity (that I care about less)

Orchidee Rouge is kind of a misleading name to me, after trying the whole Sora Dora discovery set I still say that this is by far the best smelling out of all. it opens with a blast of florals mixed with buttery sweet vanilla. I won't be addressing each notes individually since I cannot smell all of it, nor could anyone let's be honest. then it dries down into a sweet floral cinnamon type sort of seductive scent. This is also why I did not mark this as a night scent, after five minutes this becomes floral, amazing, it has that vanilla Sora Dora DNA which I absolutely adore and yearn for. only drawback is the longevity and sillage, it lacks, even though this, to me, is more of a day-date scent which is meant to project and perform like this, I still want it to do more.

Soft and feminine leaning powdery sweet nutty and floral. Slight cinnamon and a fruit that reminds me of another Sora Dora, Jany. Initially thought hazelnut but it’s more a heliotrope and almond. I would have said this was a unique combination but as it dried I was reminded of another perfume I smelled recently, Kisses Rain by Renier, which also has a creamy almond/heliotrope/caramel/cinnamon combination. Kisses Rain isn’t identical but feels like a richer version and lasts longer, kind of like an if they made an extrait version of this.

Boozy rum and sweet almond opening with a slight mistiness ; bright. Vanilla, caramel and a spicy Cinnamon start to warm up and it becomes aromatic with lots of depth. I don't get much of the bergamot or orange. The spices and musk soften this as it dries and it becomes almost gourmand. reminds me of a warm spicy latte. This leans more masculine IMO but it can deff. be worn by a woman. Beautiful Cold weather/season/Holiday fragrance. Inviting, cozy, sexy and very lux. Not something i would personally wear but I would love this on a man.

I brought discovery set from Sora Dora and this perfume is the only one I like Opening is beautiful and it's kind of reminds me of the smell of pink orbit chewing gum which is lovely in my opinion 😄 I the dry down smell gets more boozy and cinnamon, benzoin and ylang ylang are more prominent. Also from the start to the finish I get some pleasant sweet sourness like cherry juice. It's a perfect autumn smell since if this perfume was a colour it would be a mix of red and brown. 😉

I agree with the comment below 👇 I was expecting something sweet and floral because of the name, but it actually gives quite savory vibes. Fresh and even salty opening with a bit of powdery floral notes (orchid?). It’s okay, but the floral note feels slightly vintage for me personally, probably because of ylang which is quite dominant here.

Smells like Infacol drops, if you know - you know.

"Vanilla, almond, sweet, powdery, caramel" - ??? Huh? Really? How?? Lol! I dunno if I accidentally got a decant of the wrong fragrance but this smells like a musky menthol cough drop crossed with an aromatic aftershave to me. I also get the cinnamon but it's very mouth wash-ish to me. This is VERY masculine on my skin and not at all what I was expecting or hoping for. From the notes listed, I thought it would be a sweet, resinous, slightly powdery, gourmand-leaning feminine perfume. Nope! I would put this in a similar category with Xerjoff 1861 Naxos, which was also cough drop-ish and masculine to me. I wish I would have gotten what so many others have described because it sounded like it was going to be fabulous but this didn't work with my chemistry AT ALL. This is definitely NOT a safe blind buy, be sure to sample/decant/test before committing to a full bottle!

Cinnamon, caramel and heliotrope is what I smell and I don’t like it. Smells kind of harsh. I can’t describe it. The longevity and sillage are moderate.

Soft mint and rum in the very opening. Slightly powdery. Cinnamon, resins and barely there, slightly waxy, ylang ylang. I also get tea spices but not in a bright, fresh way. It does have a chai, sugared, milk tea kind of sweetness, light and calm. It’s not a heavy sweetness even though caramel and resins are listed. No where near what I expected since many described as a thick caramel which it is not. A little underwhelming but still very nice. I get low to moderate performance. In the beginning it seems like it will be too soft but it does warm up on the skin, projecting more. I can see this being perfect for fall and spring. More for the cozy, light sweater, season. It’s nice.

I think this is so pretty. The problem is I sprayed half of my 2ml sample, and after 5 minutes I can’t smell it unless I bury my nose in my wrist. I am totally fine with more skin scent type scents, but even those waft around you a bit. This doesn’t. All I can say is it’s pretty, but it truly is so light it’s difficult to even discern notes here. Edit: Ok, I tried the rest of my sample last night all in one go. Disappears on skin fast. I could smell it on the tank top I slept in this morning if I stuck my nose in it. There is something almost plasticky in this scent. It’s still pretty. Weak, though.

Oh Sorrows!!! Testing this fragrance today. I did like 15 sprays over oil and it still has no longevity. I think within 30 minutes it’s a skin scent. Crazy!!! I never really have issues with fragrances lasting on me,... even with fragrances other people have issues with. But this one... it’s bad. It has like body spray longevity. Which is sad because I find this fragrance very beautiful.

Very sweet start and boozy base. Its a rumor rather than a hint of citrus, enough to balance the sweet mids. It’s the rare boozy scent that’s not nauseating in the least to my nose. You’ll definitely smell this on a sexy female Russian assassin before she snaps your neck.

This one left me frustrated, I almost don’t feel how it smells. I own Mandorle from the brand and that one is a beast, Orchidee Rouge I can barely smell. I get just VERY light spicy-dusy-sweet smell and that’s it. Am I the only one?

applied in the morning and a couple of hours later i couldn't even remember what it was i had put on.... not memorable or interesting. longevity and sillage very disappointing also.
