A Witch's Valentine

TLDR Light, airy, sweet, powdery. Like opening a bag of marshmallows with a big bouquet of roses nearby. Beautiful. On paper, the rose is the star. It's overwhelmingly floral and I get none of the sweet marshmallow and white chocolate. It's on skin that this becomes a LOVE. It's sweet airy marshmallow, grounded by fresh roses. The rose curbs the sweetness on the marshmallow, making it more reminiscent of opening a new bag of jet puffed marshmallows rather than ooey gooey burnt marshmallow. Definitely a spring time gourmand. So happy to have this for the warmer months. edit to add, I ended up selling this one bc I never had the occasion to wear it. While lovely, I passed it on to someone who will get use out of it!

This is the perfect rose perfume. It's feminine and luxe, sweet and tart. This reminds me strongly of my childhood at my grandma's playing with her rose shaped soap that you pick the petals off of, so for me there's a nostalgic component too. This is rose rose rose. The way you wish rose smelled. The raspberry bite brings a tartness that prevents the rose from reading too mature. It makes it girly, young, and playful. The sweetness is chocolatey and pure sugar. I do smell the suede and it gives a roundness and grounds the perfume a bit. Overall, this is a wonderful and refreshing take on rose.

YAY Fragrantica finally put one of the best indie brands in the database!! Happy day. After sampling this one, I bought a full bottle as soon as I could, which should ship late this month, along with many other samples I got. A Witch's Valentine is like a raspberry marshmallow cloud with a hint of roses and white chocolate. It is one of the best things I've smelled, and definitely my favorite use of raspberry in a perfume, ever. If you're into gourmands, get this.

The rose scent of my dreams!! It’s creamy, cozy, and such an easy reach. The heavenly combination of fluffy marshmallows, plump raspberries, and airy chocolate complements the rose so well. It’s like taking a whiff of a milky rose drink, topped with steamed froth and drizzled with white chocolate. I’ve been using my sample religiously and I’m waiting patiently for when it restocks and I can finally buy a bottle <3

Gorgeous scent I can't get enough of! The rose note speaks to me and it tells me I have to pair this perfume with my pearl jewelry. The raspberry and marshmallow dance together oh so deliciously. When they're done, white chocolate takes the stage & just leaves you smiling all day. I think.... this is what Elaine from "The Love Witch" probably smells like when she goes to those iconic tea parties. 。゚(゚^∀^゚)゚。🩷

A tad lotion-y, a tad old school powdery scent (not overall) sweet white chocolate. Opens with a burst of bright raspberry and settles into a sweet tangy warm white chocolate. Nice 🙂 Like a warm hug or lipstick hehe DRYDOWN IS GORGEOUS raspberry creamy white chocolate. The rose accords dissipate and leave this long lasting raspberry dessert behind, I wish they made this with less rose

this is so babygirl, dainty afternoon tea course set, rose water, rose milk tea with sugar cubes. it’s so girly and powdery and cozy and just a little antique and smells like lotso and i love it. the suede gives it that perfect vintage edge. my kind of flormand!

So so so delcious. This is what ive been looking for from a rose perfume~ it s so soft, smooth, and sweet. It completely envelops me in smooth rose-y fluffiness and makes me have cute pink romantic dreams

not usually a fan of rose scents because they’re often pretty generic-smelling but this is perfect!! the gourmand, fruitiness, and floral blend beautifully, i need a full size right away.

I get rose and gourmand-y notes in this, but I also get something soapy. I was hoping it would be more like Roses Berberanza, Rose Rouge, or Parfait de Roses. It's a like, not a love.

I am not a rose scent gal but this one is sooo lovely! It feels absolutely whimsical & ethereal. It's like walking through the forest into a cottage with burning incense.

Delicious raspberry rose sweet perfume. Had a sample, and forgot I put it on, and the whole day would catch wifs and be pleased by the lovely smell. Gourmand excellence!

Sweet powdery rose with a hint of fruits. Great for spring and summer or to wear during hot weathers. Not too strong.

This, to my nose, smells like cotton candy roses. This is a full bottle purchase for sure. Loving Sorce.

From my sample, which I generously sprayed on my wrist/arm, I first got a full burst of that suede note 😳 and I was repulsed 🤢 I was brave and let it stay on my skin for the whole day and thank goodness, the suede note abated as time went on. The rose, fruits and sweetness come in eventually and it’s really nice. I like it a lot and since I am a rose fiend, I was able to appreciate this fragrance a little more. However... This is more of a sweet rose. Jam-like with a looooooootttttttttt of sweetness added and if you like your rose to be floral, it’s definitely not the case in here. The suede note never really leaves either, though it becomes more of a background note as time goes, so if you do not like leather/suede in your fragrances, stay away from this one... Overall, I like this a lot. It takes you on a ride, it changes and shifts and I am definitely intrigued and will finish my sample before I decide if I’m going to commit to getting a full bottle of this one. This is definitely not blind buy safe, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try it on your skin...

The rose here is so light, so watery, so delicate, it almost smells like rose water rather than actual rose flowers. And I'm not mad at that, because rose can be tricky! But it is a very realistic rose - More actual, homemade rose water than artificially replicated roses. The rose settles and softens in the first hour, letting the other notes emerge. It's very pretty. Certainly magical. This perfume is so much lighter and more whimsical than I expected it to be. It's a little tart and juicy from the raspberry, and as it dries down, it turns into a soft, sweet marshmallow with just a hint of watery rose peeking through. The suede in this one is very soft, very subtle, very well blended - don't let it scare you.

Rose Turkish delight. Not the cheap box kind, this smells like a delightful confectionery shop. Light, airy, sugar spun sweetness. You will get asked if you’re eating candy. I’m not typically crazy about rose or raspberry, for me it has to be done just right. This is pretty right! Not sure how full of a size worthy this is, but I will finish my sample and decide.

It’s so sweet and girly! It definitely screams valentine to me. I’d purchase a travel size bottle of this because I like it but not sure how often I’d wear it. I normally don’t gravitate towards rose scents but it’s not overpowering and I mostly smell the white chocolate and marshmallow.
