Dark Skies

This is gorgeous. Very strong thick and deep feeling tuberose with vanilla to round it out. It also does have an aromatic quality about it too, which makes it more interesting to me. I suppose that's coming from the sage. This is well-balanced but also kind of a beastly tuberose, and that makes it suitable to wear in any season imo... This is NOT bubble-gum tuberose, but a chewy floral -- I know that sounds similar, but there is a distinct difference. This has depth without having a noticeablely woody base or spices and I really appreciate that. Smells like real perfumery too, like 1,000 tuberose flower buds were pressed to make a single drop of oil type of stuff. This is truly beautiful and underrated on this page. I love that it has a good dose of vanilla in it too, that makes florals more wearable to me. If you enjoy tuberose at all, get to know this perfume - it really is special amongst the sea of tuberose perfumes.

dark skies is unique. the greenness on initial spray isn't my favorite but the dry down is definitely worth it. as the day went on, i started to look around me to figure out what smelled so sweet. turns out, it was me :O i could smell it on my arm, even after a shower. i might have to start looking for more agave fragrances!

I love this. It was a free sample with my order. I'm getting a ton of vanilla. I can never have too much vanilla. This, to my nose, is very similar to Venus In Fleurs...I thought I'd like VIF more bc of the mango but I actually like this one more and it's because of the vanilla. Need a full bottle!!

Arliss is correct in how the initial spray can overwhelm you. In about 15 minutes the fragrance settles down and begins to become more blended. I found the scent to be more green than aquatic. It was a unique scent that only reminded me of Tokyo Milk Arsenic. There is a sweet component that makes the scent intriguing as it doesn’t become cloying but adds depth. I got 10-12 hours from this with 3 sprays. I give credit to Arliss for convincing me to make this purchase. It is one of the best green/herbal fragrances I own now.

A well-blended fragrance, but not for me—at least not in winter. It’s very green. I’ll have to give it another shot when the weather is warmer

Smells nice- something about it is very nostalgic to me. As a kid , we used to cook along with nopales and make a lot of things with aloe Vera like hair and skin care products so it has something like that with this sweet yet and sweet and airy smell to it. However I also get something sour that I don’t enjoy . If it wasn’t for that I would like this more

This is super green nice for summer however I think this would be best as a candle or soap or a hand cream.

i do nawtttt like this one. smells like citrus urine...? i really wanted to like it by the notes. but it’s a no. somehow has that gourmand sorce dna...and i love sorce, but this just wasn't it.

Ever had yakult? This is it in perfume form. Maybe it is just me, but it smells like sour yogurt.

My oh my, I think I finally found a summer date night fragrance: heady tuberose; sweet agave syrup; this warm prickly cactus note to give it some edge. This truly makes me think of warm, balmy nights under the stars! The sage is only slight and really rounds it out and it's not sandalwood heavy (minimal to none on me at least) at all which I love! I've been looking for the perfect bubblegummy tuberose and unfortunately Venus in Tuberose UF only held that perfect bubblegum for two min before it turned into citron grass on my skin :/ I however think I finally found the one! Edit: I think I have finally come to the conclusion that white florals are just not for me. Heavy, dense floral scents (even if they are sweet and pleasant) are too strong for my tastes. I am purple floral girl all the way: sweet and delicate with a less pronounced projection.

Based on these notes I'm shocked I like this, because im a gourmand girlie. This IS green, but it's also super sweet! To me I get mostly a bubblegummy tuberose. The opening is a little sharp but the dry down has convinced me to get a full bottle. Give it a try, even if you're not a green fragrance lover.

this is sooo good. it reminds me of a soap my mom used when i was a kid. sweet slightly powdery tuberose with vanilla. sort of feels like a bubble bath. very luxurious and beautiful and nostalgic and unique

smells a bit like sunscreen to me for some reason! reminds me of walking around the shops in a beach town with the sun glaring down at u!

SUPER sour grass. Not for me. The tuberose is reading as a strong sour, citrus cleaner. In a bad way in my opinion.

I will give this some time to sit and develop. Right now it’s pulling masculine/ men’s cologne on me.

surprisingly, i actually like it. smells lowkey like hand sanitizer and oranges.
