Dragonfly Wings

Amazing, 10/10. I typically despise any floral notes in fragrances, but this one is done well. It is starchy--the rice note comes through strong (which I really like), but it's not just an average rice scent because of the pink pepper note. The pink pepper note was genius and gives the rice note a savory feel instead of a linear sweet rice fragrance. I HATE jasmine, but the jasmine in this fragrance, although there, is perfectly balanced with the rice notes. I don't pick up much of anything else, but it's just a wonderfully blended fragrance. I had to full size it.

This one was not what I expected. I imagined a watery floral dewy perfume and I mostly smell rice and florals. I feel like I am smelling the bottom of my rice cooker and it is actually a very comforting scent. It is my favorite of all my samples. It doesn't scream spring/summer to me and it actually feels like a true all year round scent.

I can’t imagine disliking this perfume. I really can’t. It’s ethereal. It is somehow watery and floral and starchy all at once in a beautiful harmonious way. Some people say fruit loops, some people say popcorn. I say toasted rice + sweet cereal milk + romantic watery florals.

This fragrance puts me in my happy place! Starchy, comforting rice accord with jasmine and lotus. To enhance the jasmine, I use a simple jasmine oil to layer it with. I do wish the florals stood out more, but it’s gorgeous. My favorite Sorce fragrance.

One of their best scents, smells absolute divine and ethereal. It’s a starchy rice with watery dewy florals, very good for the hot weather! Some people think it smells like fruit loops but I don’t get that at all, overall a very gorgeous scent

Unfortunately I don’t get any of the rice notes, it’s really just smells like fruity pebbles to me. I don’t hate it but it is like shocking how spot on it is to fruity pebbles on me.

I don't know why but this smelled rlly disgusting to me😭 like an oatmeal cookie or unseasoned stale dorito chips i was so shocked when i looked at the notes and it wasn't a gourmand it's just a savory & stale rice scent with a bit of plum lurking behind

This dragonfly is in a bowl of rice puffs, NOT at a lake... but there are florals here, too. My nose has a hard time figuring out what's happening here. Reading the notes, I expected something very blue and green, very watery and earthy, maybe a hint of starchiness. This is very very starchy, somewhat floral, and just a little watery. It's peppery on the opening, but that quickly fades. Honestly - it smells like those sweet rice puffs for babies... in a good way (I think). The starchiness is a little overwhelming on my skin, I could see myself getting sick of it very quickly. But it's definitely pleasant! An interesting one, for sure.

This one shocked me as far as expectations and notes vs. experience goes. I thought it would be fresh/ watery and summery. I love lotus, fruity watery perfumes like JM fig & lotus I would almost exclusively consider this a winter/ fall perfume. It smells savory, like toasted rice and a little floral/ amber. Like nothing i've smelled before. Deep and savory, I think without that jasmine it would almost smell like baked goods.

Beautiful jasmine rice perfume - I told Caitlin the perfumer this smells very similar to hayal by katana This is so so beautiful if you love jasmine- just be careful the color can stain your clothes You do need to reapply but well worth it one of my all time rice- jasmine tropical perfumes
