In Dreams and Fairy Tales Blueberry

If IDAF had a mascot perfume for this line, this is the clear winner. The rich yet not overpowering smell of blueberry, meringue, and chamomile almost serves like a melatonin- I’m transported to a dreamland of 8 hours of REM sleep, relaxed and dreamed away, and in this undisturbed sleep... I’m on a light blue cloud with blueberries dancing around me!!! I want to say this is super yummy and edible but the focus is really more so on the blend of the notes, rather than the differentiating notes (aka- passion fruit, blueberry, vanilla). This fragrance acts almost like a tea fragrance where it’s so well blended but has some floral background while not being an actual tea fragrance (if that makes sense). I’m in a good mood wearing this- it’s very delightfully sweet but not overwhelming like my best friend, Bianco latte. It’s so nice for summer with its cooling essence. Or a trip to mt favorite state to vacation in- Maine- to remind me of their iconic blueberries!!!

This is my favorite one from all of the IDAFT because that blueberry note is so unique! I don’t have anything else like this in my collection and it’s so lovely to sniff on my arm! This isn’t overly achingly sugary sweet either, though it is sweet enough. During the whole wear (on my skin) I get the blueberry note, though it isn’t like a fresh fruit. It’s more like a blueberry muffin like type of scent...just divine 🫐✨✨✨✨✨✨ It’s definitely a fragrance to sample and try on skin before purchasing, imo. Would I purchase a full bottle of it? Yes. But not right away. Why? Because even though it is unique and beautiful, it isn’t earth shattering enough for me to have it immediately in my collection... The only Sorce frag that did this to me was 2am in Lafayette. I ordered it the minute I tried my sample of it because it was that amazing and I couldn’t imagine myself without it...

I will admit, I didn't have high hopes for this perfume after I was so completely disappointed by it's vanilla counterpart, but this is such a pleasant surprise ! The opening note is pure sour blue raspberry candy and the dry down is a sweet blueberry muffin topped with sparkling turbinado sugar. The blueberry note is decidedly tart instead of sweet but is balanced nicely with the sweet bready pastry notes. It does take a while for the blueberry muffin scent to settle in and for a few moments the fragrance seems to be a bit at war with itself, the pendulum swinging wildly between blue raspberry and a sweet blueberry pastry. The end result is divine !

While I love and prefer the vanilla version of In Dreams And Fairy Tales, that by no means is a slight to this blueberry edition. It's a beautiful and very fruity scent, and different enough to justify having both. It's a sugary, ethereal take on a realistic, tart blueberry. For some reason, it sort of reminds me of Orchidee Vanille from Van Cleef & Arpels, but with, of course, blueberry being the star instead of mandarin. I'm not sure if I love it quite enough to pulling the trigger on a full bottle yet, just because it's VERY fruity, but I do love it. (Please note this is a review for the IPM-based version, as I am Canadian)

This has an initial strong blast of blueberry syrup in the opening that I'd dub almost medicinal but then after an hour or two it's gone. Afterwards it turns into this mid sugared vanilla. Not bad in fairness of what the notes are trying to achieve but not long lasting enough in my book. Edit: After testing this thoroughly, I have to say that I have changed my mind. The blueberry really becomes the star of the show in my book that ties the whole fragrance together. The OG vanilla flanker is just a boring sugared vanilla. This however, is magical and one of my favorite fragrances to date.

There are five different versions of In Dreams and Fairy Tales from Sorce. I’ve liked every single version of this perfume that I’ve tried, and the blueberry one I would say is my second favorite. It opens like a really juicy blueberry cobbler, but then the blueberry gets more vanilla and softens on the dry down, almost becoming like its more outgoing passionfruit sister. Or drying down to a blueberry cobbler, but you put vanilla ice cream on top, and it’s all melting together

i loveeeeee this💙 a sugary sweet scent that smells like a blueberry popsicle as someone mentioned below! (i don’t get muffin vibes like i’m seeing people say) it’s clinging to my hoodie that i sprayed a week ago and i keep walking into my room and getting whiffs 😭 super duper long lasting but not offensive to the nose. i’d wear it year round but i believe im gonna put it up for spring!! sorce is just... *chefs kiss*

i loveeee this so much, i just got a sample and i cannot believe how good it smells on my skin. at first the blueberry is really loud and in your face but give it a few minutes and the dry down is blueberry vanilla goodness!!! i love it, lasts about 7-8 hours on me projects moderately well. kinda reminds me of a strawberry shortcake doll??? like that addictive smelling when you got the dolls. sooo good!!

Why is this so incredible? I never like fruity smells, but the vanilla in this makes it so warm and comforting. I received my sample and then ordered a full bottle the next day. I can’t get enough. Like blueberry jam in a powdery vanilla cream puff with magic sprinkled atop. Can’t stop checking the order info, eagerly awaiting my full bottle to ship.

This really does smell fairytale-like, incredibly sweet and slightly powdery blueberry mixed with powdered sugar and vanilla. Reminds me of something from my childhood, maybe blueberry scented toys, or sweets. I heavily recommend this is a super cute, girly perfume with a very whimsical, nostalgic energy

Strikes me as a versatile year round scent. Realistic blueberry baked good. On my skin blueberry pie. Delicious. Has a wonderful base note blend that I'm beginning to id as Sorce's key DNA. Would buy full bottle. If you like sweet gourmands and blueberries, safe blind buy I think.

very very strong and sweet! wore this scent to work, and a lady complimented and asked what i was wearing from across a display. very powdery sweet almost cloying blueberry, but nonetheless beautiful! lasts literally forever and a little goes a loooooong way.

obsessed with this one 😭 it’s like a blueberry muffin exactly, reminds me sooo much of the strawberry shortcake character! this is definitely my favorite variation in the line, it’s sweet but definitely not cloying!

My all time favourite from the IDAFT line! Oh my gosh it makes my mouth water. I’ve flown through my 15ml travel size and will definitely repurchase a larger size. It’s the best blueberry scent!

I just love smelling like jam, but this one on my skin smells like pure smoke with a hint of berry - everything I wanted in a perfume.

The first time I smelled this on paper I thought of a push pop. It's a really strong blueberry flavoring smell...like some others have mentioned candy and popsicles. It also kind of reminds me of celestial seasonings blueberry tea. My small child came in to my office this morning and said how good it smelled in there. I'm guessing it has a decent scent bubble since she noticed it right away. I had her smell my wrist and she shouted "blueberries!" She loved it and this may be the most positive reaction she has had since I started this journey. My husband smelled froot loops and did not object. This is really nice if you love blueberries. It lasts all day. I think I would love it more if I could pick up on a baked good element, but it has light vanilla meringue instead. This is much better than the In Dreams and Fairytales Vanilla though IMO. It's possible this one grows on me as I finish the sample, but it may just be a personal preference thing where I'm just not that into berries. If I ever get rich I'll get this one just for the compliments from my daughter.

i adore this! admittedly i have not tried the other versions of this fragrance, but i was really intrigued by the blueberry note and it absolutely did not disappoint the opening is sweet, fruity, and immediately enticing. honestly, it reminds me more of blue candy than actual blueberries. not necessarily realistic fruit, but that unmistakable "blue" flavour that somehow always ends up being the best one as it dries down, it settles into a comforting powdery vanilla which is pretty much one of my favourite scent profiles. that combination of fruity sweetness and soft powdery warmth has me completely enamoured what i love most is that it feels like a bit of a journey. the sweetness never really disappears, it just changes shape. it stays fruity and present throughout the wear, but in a way that feels comforting rather than overwhelming there is something so sweet and cozy about this fragrance overall. it just makes me happy every time i smell it!

i blind bought the 15 ml assuming i would fall in love with it based on reviews i've read, and i like this perfume. i prefer a hint of fruit over a prominent fruity, and this is a prominent blueberry with a tea-like essence. so it has the potential for a "love" rating if i find the perfect vanilla to layer this with. i expected the vanilla note to be more noticeable, but it definitely smells like a softer lush's "no way to say goodbye," not as jammy. if i had known the similarities, i would not have purchased the 15 ml, as I already own "no way to say goodbye." great for all year wear. not cloying. very feminine.

super duper sweet and VERY blueberry forward. like spun sugar and blueberry artificial flavoring, but not in a cloying way. however doesnt last more than a few hours on my skin for some reason, even though every other sorce perfume does ):

Syrupy, delicious blueberry pie filling. No weird musks or woods - just beautiful blueberry. It's nostalgic, comforting, youthful but grounded. This is a really special, realistic scent.

I like this one, but sadly I do not get hardly any blueberry at all. I just get a very sweet vanilla and somehow smoldering wood, with the slightest hint on the breeze of blueberry.

This has a strong, sharp blueberry opening with a little vanilla underneath. Very photorealistic. On me, it smelled best when layered with a a plain vanilla or pastry-esque spritz.

The opening of this scent is an extremely synthetic blueberry smell. It doesn't necessarily smell bad but I kinda felt like one of those old Strawberry Shortcake dolls that were fruit scented. The synthetic blueberry does go away as this sits on the skin longer settling into those sugar and meringue notes a lot more. This wasn't personally for me but I don't think it's a bad fragrance. If you really like just plain sweet scents this might be a hit for you. I haven't tried any of the other In Dreams and Fairytales scents so I don't know how this one compares but maybe consider picking up the Vanilla or a different scent if you want to avoid that synthetic opening.

A very sugary blueberry with some fluffy airy vanilla. The blueberry note here is not exactly the same as the blueberry in This is Not a Love Spell which is more jammy. The blueberry here is very sugary, in the drydown it becomes more vanilla, which is pretty much the same drydown as In Dreams and Fairytales Vanilla.

Smells like super sweet blueberry chapstick and a those blueberry scented pencils. I don’t know what I was expecting. It delivers exactly what it says it does. Too jolly for me personally and reminds me of kindergarden.

Ooph do not like. The blueberry almost smells like blue raspberry jolly ranchers. And then mixed with vanilla. Sad cause I was excited to try this but after trying 7 or 8 samples I don't think this house is for me.

I like the base. Very sweet and cute, but the blueberry is too artificial for me. Almost like smelling preservatives.

such a perfect blueberry perfume, not that I've ever come across another. but wow is it gorgeous. sweet, blueberry pie filling, and yet in some strange way it also has an undertone scent to me of a plant nursery in the summer. not sure why or what that is. but it's incredible. and has great longevity. the hype around Sorce is real, they make some of the best perfumes I've ever had the pleasure of wearing!

Sure it's a blueberry scent at first spray, but on me as it drysdown, it's not as sweet as all of the reviews suggest. There's a very strong herbal note that pierces through. It's not in the background, it sits in the forefront, ruining the gourmand sweetness I had hoped this scent would be. It takes over the blueberry and all I get is soil and greens after 15 minutes of first spray.

this is a beautiful perfume, the blueberry really is the heart of this scent which is great - such a rare note! it's sweet, juicy, whimsical.. and if you live in the UK, smells EXACTLY like blue WKD. like, almost exactly the same smell. i already can't drink the stuff, too much time as a teenager throwing it back up again i think. so no way i could wear this. great perfume though!

This smells like crushed up Smarties, which reminds me of Halloween. As it dries down, there's a slightly spiced cake feel to it and the blueberry takes a back seat. It doesn't project as well as some of other Sorce perfumes. It might just be me but almost immediately I can only smell it if I hold my arm up to my nose.

Just ordered a discovery set with witchery and serpentine and bees honey and fuckery and not a love potion and witches valentine. ..this brands fragrances all sound amazing and you can choose oil or alcohol as well as many size options..I can't wait they all sound perfect for upcoming fall

this is a very comforting blueberry vanilla scent, as the name suggests. at first sniff, it was reminiscent of some kind of scented doll from childhood. it’s very cozy yet i could definitely see myself wearing this during every season of the year. 💙🫐

I love all versions of this perfume - they all do dry down to smell the same to me but I love love the beautiful blueberry opening note wish it stuck around

I get artificial grape candy for some reason. It doesn't smell bad, just not what I was expecting.
