In Dreams and Fairy Tales Pistachio

There are five different versions of In Dreams and Fairy Tales from Sorce, and I’ve liked every single version of this perfume that I’ve tried. The pistachio one opens with almost a cherry-like pistachio ice cream right on top of a waffle cone. You almost get that cold ice cream shop scent. On the dry down, you get more whipped cream, maybe a little bit of a pumpkin spice. Out of all of them, this one is the most fall appropriate. This is actually what I thought Ephemera would smell like for some reason on the dry down. Maybe there’s a little bit more of a pumpkin spice note that was unintentional. This would be great on a fall day that’s still a little bit warm.

Upon first inhale, IDAF pistachio and I fell in love. This is just one of those perfumes you never forget. I love all gourmands, but this one is truly special. It’s nutty, buttery, sexy, and less sweet than the other IDAF varieties, which I surprisingly like. I adore this one and will continue buying it! I also love combining pistachio with IDAF strawberry rosewater. <3 As a bonus... my boyfriend absolutely loves this scent, and always notices when i’m wearing it.

Very sweet, nutty-forward vanilla; but without the usual 'spice' notes often included with nut notes. One of the few pistaschio gourmands that smelled just that. Finally!

I looove the IDAFT base and Sorce does pistachio sooo well

This is the best of the 5 versions, imo. The pistachio helps soften, sweeten, deepen the original. It doesn't have the sharp, scratchy note that other 4 do, or not as strongly. I also feel like this version is the least likely to smell like cigars/tobacco (a frequent comment I've received while sampling all 5).

I got this as a sample with another Sorce fragrance. I didn't expect to love it, but it's so good! I don't normally like gourmands - or really anything too sweet - but the sweet, nutty, faintly buttery scent here is gorgeous.

smells exactly like the trader joe’s vanilla meringues, this is an amazing gourmand. not sure if i’d buy anything bigger than a sample but this smells SOO good

This smells like the In Dreams and Fairytales base with like, an unscented lotion underneath? I honestly like the smell of unscented lotion, so I could see myself wearing this to bed or if I had a headache, but I also wouldn’t say it smells like pistachio.

Smelled zero pistachio. That aside, I'm not a fan. I don't understand why every influencer and her cat rave about Sorce perfumes - They burn my nose upon first spray. Every time. - They don't last on me - They don't project - They leave an oily sheen on my skin when the perfume dries I don't know what alcohol base they're using, does not feel high quality (understandable considering it's an indie brand). I had such high hopes. Felt properly let down.
