In Dreams and Fairy Tales Strawberry Rosewater

i’ll be so honest this doesn’t give meringue at all and i’m glad, all the other in dreams variants ( aside from blueberry ) pull very whipped-egg and sugar on me which i suppose is what a meringue is. however this to me is like a chamomile and rose cordial/ juice paired with a bowl of fresh tart strawberries and vanillary cream cheese buttercream. it’s so pleasant and not at all sickly despite it being sweet, i think the mellow chamomile and strawberry tartness bring that down so it isn’t cloying. there’s not much rose but for me that’s perfect as i’m not really a rose liker ( two perfumes ) and the rose i get is jammy and dessert-like. but this is one of my favourite sorce scents overall. and once it ages it becomes even better and smoother! the strawberry definitely jumps out in my aged bottle, very pretty! :)

Something in the beginning smells like kids berry toothpaste at the dentist(not in a bad way oddly enough) Then it settles to a gorgeous Strawberry Shortcake. I get only the slightest rosewater scent in this, it’s only there if im searching for it. This perfume is what Burberry Her Elixir wishes it was. D’anamm strawberry mochi is the only other scent I’ve seen nail a strawberry note so well. But D’anam didn’t work for me since I didn’t vibe with the starchy aspect. Sorce knows whats up!

The way it’s done reminds me of A Witch’s Valentine. Very sweet with lots of marshmallow, a creamy jammy feel, strawberry instead of raspberry. I use oil for all. I love and already have A Witch’s Valentine, so getting this may be redundant. However, I recommend to any fruity gourmand lovers. The marshmallow (meringue, I guess) really rounds it out. It’s tooth achingly sweet, exactly what I’m feeling when I’m hungry. Warning: may feel cloying and sickening if you’re too full.

There are five different versions of In Dreams and Fairy Tales from Sorce, and I’ve liked every single version of this perfume that I’ve tried. Strawberry rosewater is my third favorite version. It’s almost like if the passionfruit one and the blueberry one had a little baby that’s a little bit more reserved than its parents. I don’t really get any rosewater. It reminds me of those creamy strawberry candies, the ones that are like a strawberry swirl. Really love this.

Powdery, sweet, delicious strawberry marshmallows made refined by the rosewater notes. This is one of my absolute favorite perfumes of all time. I love wearing it to bed... it must be the chamomile lulling me to sleep. Thank you, Sorce, for being scentsable.

the opening is probably the most strawberry part of the scent! it’s sweet and slight jammy but not at all cloying! i think this is where i get a hint of rosewater, which definitely contributes to the almost aquatic feeling. it quickly settles down into something more creamy, a touch more “everyday.” i definitely see strawberry meringue for this one, it’s light and fluffy, genuinely so beautiful! maybe i would go an oil for this one, i see myself wearing it just to steal a sniff but it’s not quite yet a scent i crave...possibly with time! i do wish this had a stronger performance, it does disappear faster than i was hoping :(

The opening is intensely sweet and reminds me of Sweet Tarts or Pixie Sticks. I’m not getting a ton of rose from this and I also don’t get a lot of the IDAF DNA. It is really pleasant, so long as you like sweet. I was about to pan this for performance but hours after I sprayed, I kept getting whiffs of it though I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. This morning I put my robe on and realized it had clung to my clothes. I sprayed 24 hours ago so I would say the longevity on clothes is eternal.

My favorite of the custom series. Very watery pleasant rose adds an interesting element to the base dna.

i got a sample that i didn't order as an extra in a discovery set (i'm assuming it was because of how long it was taking to ship) and it's not my cup of tea as i'm not a fan of gourmands but i will say that it's not overly sweet. it smells like strawberries dipped in whipped cream and sprinkled with sugar. if you enjoy this kind of scent profile you'll probably like this fragrance ૮ . . ྀིა

I'm not sure why it took me so long to get my nose on this considering In Dreams and Fairy Tales Vanilla and Blueberry are on my top 10 favorite fragrances of all time, but I finally did! This is VERY sweet and a little powdery (not like baby powder or antique floral, more like the dusting on homemade marshmallows). I'm not getting a lot of vanilla or chamomile in this (like I do with the Blueberry variation), nor am I getting any rosewater. This is more super sweet and tart strawberry and powdery marshmallow (which I'm not upset about). It's very nice, but maybe a tad too sweet for my taste. I'm expecting this to develop over the next few months and I'm excited to see how it ages!

Sweet strawberry jam. From the IDAFT line I only tried this one and the blueberry one. Although they are very linear, they still smell pretty great. Great fragrances for when you want to be laid back and more casual.

I wish I liked this, but it reminds me sooo much of Strawberry Poundcake by Bath & Body Works! If you like that fragrance, this would probably be perfect for you, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

This isn’t as vanilla-y as the others which i like. There’s a bit of cream but it’s not as forward. It reminds me of strawberry short cake

Shortcake with strawberries baked right in, topped with powdered sugar. Just like a cake my mom bakes.
