Love and Complications

I forgot I had this. While rummaging through my collection today, I found a 15 ML old style rectangular bottle. I believe I purchased this last spring mainly because of the passion fruit and plumeria notes. I remember the smell piercing my nostrils and not in a good way. It had that BO funk to it. Very tart, like the lip puckering you get from a lemon but with passion fruit and the passion fruit had a somewhat green and almost grassy nuance to it. And I did not smell any of the condensed milk and brown sugar. There wasn't even the tiniest bit of sweetness. No plumeria either. Well, I'm not quite sure what kind of magic happened while it was in time out but this has transformed into a creamy passion fruit and vanilla ice cream. It's now sweet and juicy and that BO smell is completely gone. I'm actually surprised at how much this has developed into almost a completely different scent. This smells very much like Armani Power Of You which I'm a big fan of even though I don't own it yet. As far as projection, longevity and sillage go...this is pretty potent stuff. Sorce has so many great fragrances but the performance is abysmal on many of them, at least in my experience (for example, Snow Moon Magic smells so FKING good but it just doesn't last long and it's a very intimate scent regardless of how much I spray, same with Cabanilla and a few others). Don't worry about performance with this one. It performs!! Now the only problem is that it's a special order window scent and I think the next window won't be until fall. I'm one of those people that can't wear tropical scents in winter and there's no way this 15 ML is going to work for anything more than one other wear. But I'll be damn sure to purchase at least a 50 ML of this so that I can allow it to do it's thing through fall and winter. I'll break it out of jail next spring and wear it through spring and summer.

Very Pretty, Very Passionfruity. This perfume is sweet, tart, a little sour, with a decadent and creamy base. The mixture of passionfruit and plumeria is so bright and fun, and almost a little tropical. Would probably taste great as a cocktail. The passionfruit is the star of the show here. I'm not a huge passionfruit fan in general, but something about Sorce's passionfruit hits different. (If you like Sorce's In Dreams and Fairytales - Passionfruit, you'll definitely like this one, too. They're cousins, maybe even sisters.)

A very milky sweet passionfruit. This is my first passionfruit scent, and I've come to learn that it reminds me way to much of a friend from highschool lmao. I like it, but can't wear it because of that.

VERY floral at the opening, almost sunscreeny? then i start getting some passionfruit and underlying woody notes, but that floral is THERE! not a bad thing, i think just a touch louder than the fragrances i usually reach for! i do like the dry down of this one, but as far as passionfruit and sorce go, i love sniffing love and the sea more (but i could see myself actually wearing THIS one more)??? i think i just love a sunscreen-y note! [edit: ok i can't stop sniffing this one, there's something about that plumeria that makes me want to smell it again, but i'm still super torn on whether i'd buy/wear it regularly!) (ok back to not being able to wear this!!)

It’s very synthetically sweet to me and comes off juvenile. I feel like I’ve smelt this scent at bath and body works. The more it sits on my skin the more it smells like rotting fruit to me.

I normally love passionfruit scents and Sorce but this one has a note or two that don't mix well and is throwing me off. I don't see myself wearing it.
