Reduced to a Thing That Wants You

oh i need this one immediately. before even sniffing this one, i was moved in some sort of way by the name alone. it’s poetic and tugs at you, so bonus points for that alone! this one isn’t a loud fragrance. it’s a beautiful skin scent. if my-lips-but-better lipsticks are a thing, this is that for fragrance. i get a touch of citrus, a hint of pink pepper, and a slight warm sweetness. i need to be drenched in this. it is such an immediate love! [edit: i had to come back to this review just to say this could easily be somebody's signature scent, it really just is THAT good!]

On paper, this reminded me of a crystal shop I used to go to when I was younger and picked up more on the amber and sandalwood. I was so confused by the spring/summer votes because it felt more warm to me. I liked it but not loved. On skin, smells completely different to me. I definitely get the citrusy/powdery accords. The citrus is subtle and not overpowering. It is bright. I really love how this smells now! I was going to skip on the special order window but def picking this one up.

This is a gorgeous whimsical sweet/creamy citrus. This perfume is so pretty. Definitely a pretty fairy princess scent. I love it!! It's so fluffy, bright, and sweet (but never too sweet). At first spray, it's a little peppery, but that quickly settles into the background and gives the lighter fluffier notes a nice base to sit on. Smells a lot like "Sitting On The Edge Of A Cloud" to me, with the sweet airy citrus, but has a little more zing to it.

Another banger from Sorce. This is a clean citrus skin scent, it’s slightly sweet but not overly sweet. This isn’t beast mode like their other scents, this stays closer to the skin but it still lasts pretty long. This is such a pretty scent for spring and summer!

This is a beautiful fruity gourmand. Evolves in a such a gentle way, I really enjoy it

Surprised me! I only have a sample, but it reminds me of Ellis Brooklyn Sun Fruit. Very bright but unique.

the notes on the website captivated me and i knew i had to get a sample of this, but sadly it didn't work on my skin at all 😭 the sandalwood and marshmallow are the only things i can smell in this, and it's like they're competing with each other

This special order scent is so slept on! This is honestly what I was hoping for from The Light Through the Clouds which ended up being a pepper bomb on my skin. This is a little sweet, a little clean, a bit peppery and a bit citrusy. I'm so glad I decided on getting a bottle of this during their last special order window - it's PERFECT for the warmer months.
