Oh YUM! Yum yum yum I LOVE this. A gourmand that's not too heavy, with some witchy, magical spice. She's a Witch is so unique! It's got a creamy, buttery cookie base, with a sparkling dose of anise that's almost minty - it's so crisp and bright and just elevates the whole fragrance. If you're not familiar with anise, it's not spicy in a cinnamon way, it's spicy in an almost herbal way. It does smell a bit like licorice - you either love anise or you hate it and I loveeeeeeeee it. It's very prominent here. Literal anise cookies. The dry down is a little spicier, a little woodier, just as delicious. It might even be the tiniest bit powdery, but still very much so gourmand. Yummmm. This perfume is sweet, it's spicy, it's nutty, it's magical. I'm obsessed. Would eat if I could.

Delicious. A kitchen witch’s cottage nestled in a wintery wood. She’s baking, and there’s a spray of powdered sugar over the countertops. I’ve never had a pizzelle cookie, but my impression is warm, buttery, and almondy. The bright, fresh anise seed reads almost minty like winter air. Herbal and aromatic but not really green. I even get a hint of something citrusy like orange zest in the very opening. It’s absolutely delicious and I’m nursing my 15ml, but the cold weather is perfect for this wintery gourmand and I’m already feeling the pull to upsize my bottle. 🍪🧇🌬️🌲🌰🍊🌾 Edit: The more I wear it, the more I love it. I need a 100ml immediately 😍

This is one of my go-to winter scents because it is the most photorealistic pizzelle scent I've ever smelled and it takes me back to my childhood around Christmastime. It is the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and warm and it lasts 8+ hours on skin and clothes.

Almond biscotti, anyone? Especially when the almond biscotti doesn’t contain significant almond extract, this smells just like biting into a traditional almond biscotti with fennel seeds, which emit that anise scent and slight taste. I don’t hate it, but it’s not something I want to smell like, personally. Very powdery, very airy. You should definitely at least like anise to pick this one up.

for starters, i’ve never smelled pizzelle cookies, but this smells like a lofthouse cookie to me! soft and delicate, with a touch of spice from the anise and a bit of nuttiness as well. this one is SO yummy, though i can’t quite see myself wearing it as i don’t like gourmands. but if i did...!

Sweet, salty, nutty cookie. The anise comes off like minty or menthol. It’s weird. I like it but I don’t know if I want to smell like it. My husband thinks it smells like salted popcorn. He can’t smell the anise at all. I’m going to try wearing it again when the weather is cooler.

This is a very photorealistic anis cookie. It smells pleasant, and I do love how the anis is presented in a sweeter herbal way. Overall, it’s a powdery different gourmand. I just personally do not want to smell like this. It’s not my cup of tea, but NOT horrible by any means. Reminds me of my Italian family gatherings.

It was too close to a gourmand for my tastes

Really surprised how much I like this. I'm not hugely fond of gourmands and other Sorce scents have missed the mark for me, to my disappointment, but I LOVE the anis note in this. This is sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Smells cookie-ish, but I also get the wood notes. It reads more mature than many gourmands do to me, and I so appreciate the spiciness in here.

I usually hate anything with anise but this is nice! I have gotten a lot of compliments from it Does make the back of my throat itch a little from the spice when you first spray it- but definitely recommend for fall
