UFO Disco

I blind bought this because I've been looking for a great mango scent and I trust Sorce. I'm happy to say I finally found a worthy mango scent for me. I would describe this as a warm tropical with a mango note that is definitely noticeable but not as an overpowering, synthetic fruit note. It is well balanced with the sweetness of guava and vanilla and then as it dries down you can smell more of the cardamom without it being too spicy. I've only worn it during the day in the summertime so far, but I think the warmth would translate well to nighttime or even as the weather gets cooler in the fall.

The guava in this is fresh and delicate which I can really appreciate. The cardamon is not overpowering at all and intertwines with this thick, syrupy mango. I would describe this best as smelling ripe fruit trees up close just right before the guava and mangoes can be picked. No rotting fruit quality. Perfectly ripe, a slight greenness from the cardamon that makes it crisp. This isn't shampooey at all and is airy, despite the syrupy edge of the mango. I'd say it has that Happy Dust by Narcotica mango quality and a smooth, guava forward scent trail. Unfortunately for me, I have been ruined by the opening of Black Guava from BTSO-a perfectly rich, gorgeous guava before the oud hits your nostrils and ruins it. Highly recommend this however for a person who wants a good quality guava scent for a summer day-very nicely done. Warning: the smell on skin can a little vomit-esque with wear such as heavy sweat or a wash.

There's a note in here that smells a bit like B.O. I can't really pick up anything else. I don't smell mango or guava at all--very overpowering spice notes.

cat pee. my cat’s pee. i got a hint of mango lassi in the opening and i could mayhaps get a touch of cardamom amidst everything else. but this is a definite no for me.
