You Are Mine

almost nobody talks about this one within the sorce community and i can’t understand why, hopefully my review can help people out! you are mine smells like you took the dreary mid-fall in forks ( twilight ) and bottled it with cherries. to start the osmanthus and the rose aren’t too strong to my nose, neither are the ginger and lemon but they blend into this really well done hint of something that stops the chocolate ( which i do detect ) and cherry-almond notes from becoming too sweet. the cherry in this is also realistic, doesn’t smell like a perfumery cherry but as if you’d bitten into a black cherry and let the juice drip down your fingers albeit also isn’t sharp nor too strong. now there is a leather note and as someone who hates leather notes due to them being overpowering and synthetic, this is incredibly well done... to me it smells almost powdered and smooth mixed with the other notes. lastly the cedar in this is quite prominent on me which i actually adore! stops it from being too sweet and gives it a more unisex edge but the rest of the notes are this marriage of beautiful things with that beautiful vanillary sorce dna. tldr; powdery syrupy, warm yet somehow cold and dreary cherry forward perfume with an array of beautifully balanced background notes and a gloomy cedar. great for year round but perfect for fall and winter especially on rainy days.
