Golden Notes

Before testing this perfume on skin I smelled the top of it and I could tell this is some potent stuff, so I decided to try it out spraying sparingly. I'm testing it in cooler weather. The bottle is really well made and the photo doesn't do it justice - it's heavy, shiny gold metallic and the clean design with really nice details makes it an eyecatcher when on display. The initial spray, or may I say blast of perfume hits quite heavy with a mix of cloves, cardamom and nutmeg - these notes are not listed here, but I promise they are (also checked on Sorvellas page). You would think this mix is harsh, but it isn't and it calms a bit down after about 15 minutes and turns a little more woody with a hint of fresh orange peel. It's like you've just cut down your own Christmas tree and now you're sitting next to it sipping hot glühwein. Even with these spices I find this perfume to be very "in nature". It's definitely unisex, not really leaning either way, but I'm sure some people may consider it leaning a little masculine. It smoothes out as it goes through its stages towards drydown. After the opening blast it performs very well blended. It smells better from a little far than close to skin, but I think that's a matter of how much you apply because this one is a beast. 12 hours later I still smell it on my skin - to the point that if I want to wear another perfume I must either shower or layer the perfume with the drydown. You need to like spicy perfumes to enjoy this one. I've tried a few perfumes from Sorvella and all of them have been beasts, use sparingly.

Çok kullanacağım bir parfüm değil. Farklı bir şeyler sıkmak istediğimde kullanırım. Yoğun baharatlı. Kış kokusu. Şişenine bayıldım. Kaliteli ve tatlı görünüyor.
