Afgano Puro

Super sweet opening, from the patchouli, with tobacco peeking through. As it develops, ten minutes later becomes very powdery in a neutral, talcum powder way. Not cosmetics femme powdery, but neutral, leaning masc. I do not get oud, at all. I get some tobacco with a touch of honeyed vanilla, underneath a powder bomb. I find this very comforting and warming. Smells fantastic on a man! A woman can wear on a cold night, nuzzling a hot cup of chai tea. I sprayed over 10 sprays, easily. Don't be a sissy sprayer.

I got a random sample of it and I liked it a lot actually. Very masculine and not really an every-day wear in my opinion, leans more towards special occasions. Reminds me of something i smelled a long time ago, a classy scent that older people used to wear to my grandpa's synagogue on shabbat, which pretty much hints that it should be worn by 35+ men (in my opinion) It's definitely worth a shot of you're into classic scents. Not worth the high price tag tho

A more complex and beautiful version of Black Afgano. If I had to choose between the two I would choose Afgano Puro for the powdery and complex dry down. Afgano Puro is not going to be for everyone and I think that's a good thing, it tells it own story. I want a bottle but I don't think its going to fair well in FL hot weather and would be more of a ( I have this and its really unique and I like it but I'm not in the mood to wear it today) same as Black Afgano. I'm pretty much never in the mood to wear it. (UPDATE) I got a bottle

A Jazz Club. The half-light. The aroma of sharp tobacco. The music playing and transporting us with the mind to another world. Afghano puro is a strong, powerful fragrance with wonderfully interpreted tobacco. A scent with smoky, dark tones, which slowly softens and becomes extremely sensual on the skin. In my opinion perfect for the cooler seasons, really well interpreted, very sensual. Absolutely try it, you will not be deluded. Excellent performance. ‘Men at the Bar’ painted by Alberto Sughi.

I had flashbacks to early childhood memories of baby powder. Once calmed it is well blended and linear with exceptional longevity. Afgano Puro would do very well on a matriarch, or a woman who is a patron of the arts, expressive, atypical, and loved by all who encounter her. This is an aristocratic grandmotherly vibe. This is a deep purple fragrance, as the bottle suggests.

Not to be rude but, this smells like shit

This smells just like Nasomatto Black Afgano. Black Afgano is probably a little more pungent from its cannabis accord, but frankly, those myserious "herbal notes" in Afgano Puro might be code for marijuana lol. I appreciate Sospiro's attempt to diversity its fragrance portfolio, but Afgano Puro is still rather surprising coming from the Sospiro house, considering most of their offerings are fruity or floral. If you're not a fan of this scent profile, keep an open mind before you shut the door on it. Black Afgano, which I have, might smell almost unbearable when you put your nose to skin, but from a distance (i.e., everyone around you), it smells very masculine and not as unpleasant. Afgano Puro is arguably smoother.

Opening is nasty, dry down is better... Very powdery & musky, the tobacco is strong in the opening but not too bad in dry down. If someone took Prada Amber Pour Homme and added tobacco that's basically this. I think I can also smell oud in here since it has that typical tobacco & oud smell to it which you'd smell in a lot of tobacco & oud fragrances Certainly very very very powdery, it's beast mode and extremely cloying makes it pretty hard to breathe it's like putting baby powder on your chest and then try breathe it's hard. It's baby powder in a bottle, but done more mature...so you're not a baby that wears diapers but more like an old person that wears diapers

I don't know the scent of Black Afgano because I've never tried it before. However, Afgano Pure has a very unusual scent in the hall and it lasts a very long time. It's a very sharp, chemical, and pungent scent. Perhaps it contains musk in a very high concentration, similar to Bergamosic by Orto Parisi. But maybe it should be tested in venues and we'll see what happens.
