"Masculine, Resinous, Pensive, and Sophisticated Luxury" From the first moment I tested a sample of Sospira Classica, I knew I had to purchase a full bottle, but I was also deeply conflicted by the reviews on Fragrantica. I thought maybe I had purchased a wrong sample. I purchased a second sample to confirm it was indeed Sospiro Classica. Classica is a masterfully crafted fragrance that is not for faint of hearts, inexperienced noses, or those who are looking for flashy type fragrances to receive compliments. It is a quintessential fragrance for those who have appreciation for Beethoven, Shakespeare, artwork from the Italian Renaissance period, opera concerts, history, and antiques. Classica is a woody fragrance at heart, but layers of tobacco and oud glow in the background and are mainly in the base. The opening is mixed with citrus which remains constant until the dry down. Even though Classica is a pensive fragrance as a whole, the presence of citrus and ambergris add a vibrant side to it, and don’t let it become too dark or animalic. Classica is a dark fragrance, but not as dark as Nasomatto Black Afgano or Tiziana Terenzi Laudano Nero. It is animalic, but not as animalic as Xerjoff’s Oud Star collection. This is a masculine fragrance for the nobility. Picture a well-groomed man picking up a beautiful Italian model, dressed in all dark with dark hair, and eyes in a Ferrari or Rolls Royce on a cold night. 10/10 if it can be purchased at the right price.

My first foray with Sospiro Perfumes and I am more than impressed. Beginning with the presentation. Stunning. Elegant and Classy. The bottles are wrapped in a velvet material. Can't see the juice...not a deal breaker, but also not my fav. The cap is metal and heavy; the atomizer is sufficient. But how is the juice? First spray and I though to myself: redundant, if you own Initio Oud for Greatness. The same earthy, barnyardy oud. However, that's where the similarities end. OfG has a strong, long-lasting rose accord, while Classica starts and remains in the "spicy" category. Yes, it is quite animalic and remains so for the duration, which, BTW, is extended. Sprayed two pieces of paper, one with Classica and the other with OfG. 3 days later, both examples were quite powerful. The OfG exhibited the fruity aspect, which sets it apart from Classica. Hints of tobacco can be detected, supporting the spicy category. My taste leans towards the challenging and Classica will be considered challenging for some. One spray definitely suffices as this has monster projection. I recommend applying it to the skin---(chest) and avoid spraying your clothing. Very masculine. Not particularly "office" friendly. Colder weather juice, for sure. Not a safe "blind buy", unless you are a huge "oud" fan---which I am. Recommended.

Fantastic perfume, but for the patient. At first not very pleasant, something like I sprayed myself with an invictus and stepped into the shit hidden under the fallen leaves, but as time goes on, oh la la. Try it even in warm weather, in summer. You will be pleasantly surprised.

This is perhaps the most masculine perfume I have ever smelled. To my nose this is Tom ford tobacco oud minus the sweetness... Perfectly blended

According the notes, it should smell gorgeous! And indeed it is. But the scent is ruined by the smell of sheep's wool, of lanolin, which is extremely strong and covers everything. Sad!

Onestly... This fragrance smells like human poo... The same" KOUROS "for men smell like public toilette with urine on floor. I know human preferences are different and not discussable, but come on. Sometimes sophistication leads to grotesque and catastrophe. I believe there is thin group fans japanese skat movies who may like it. Generally sospiro fragrances are big disappointment ( xerjoff as well) Very nice artistic flamboyant bottles but fragrances itself - everage... For sure they are not worthy its price . Just beautiful bottles are worthy( if you snobb and collector)

Im Still Unsure What To Think About This Fragrance.... Balmy Smokey Woody & Tobacco Are The Dominant Forces Here. As It Drys Down More It Does Get A Touch Smoother / Sweet Guessing The Amber & Sandalwood Are In The Background Doing This And Oud Becomes A Touch More Noticeable Also. Projection Is Good. It Does Smell Classic I Guess Like A Well Off Gentlemen Sitting In His Cigar Room Full Of Wooden Furniture. *I Did Not Get Any Of The "Citrus Blast" Mentioned Below Nor Would I Say Ambergris Is The Dominant Note As It Lists Above At This Present Point In Time.

Classica opens with a blast of citrus and a herbal aromatic feel I think it comes from clary sage going over to dirty and skanky blend with copahu balm and ambergris but still aromatic , balsamic. After some time it becomes more balanced with noticable woodsy notes. Then in the last stage its alot of ambergris , tobacco some moss and a bit of oud still aromatic and balsamic. Kind of daring scent but much more interesting that Opera.

"Classic" barnyard and earthy goodness. Very hard to find, but was able to get a decant. Very awesome blend, but not very different from some barnyard oud I own. Wearing it in a cloud summer day. Did a very light spritz on my arm; it's pleasant if you like this type of fragrance (I love it!), and not very loud. In winter I can go heavy on the sprayer to magnify that funkiness.

Funky pungent dark stinky animalic dirty Horse stable smell, nothing changes here , ambrinol civet cresols overdosed would make something horrible like this ! 0/10

I have absolutely no idea if Buckeye is being sarcastic, or deadly serious with his review below, and to be honest, I don't know which would actually be funnier.

Soooooo, basically this fragrance smells on me like sh*t , i'm not kidding, i can't belive this is Sopiro, what they were thinking? .
