Dolce Sonata

I don’t think Sospiro can go wrong- the quality, projection and longevity is top of the list. Dolce sonata is feminine leaning, it’s warm and cosy, it’s fruity and expensive smelling it lasts for a good 12 hours. I absolutely love it. I’m wearing it now and I just can’t stop smelling my wrist. Price wise for retail is expensive but you can always pick up good deals I got it for £109 on Notino. Omg, I went to the supermarket and the woman on the till complimented me on my perfume, then the man behind me agreed that I smelled lovely. This perfume is growing on me big time, in fact all my Sospiro fragrances are long lasting and highly projecting.

A beautiful sweet fruity scent with a touch of smoky leather but not a leather scent. Lactonic and a bit animalic Apricot, Raspberry, Lime and Bergamot in the opening, white florals in the mid. The Osmanthus amps that Apricot note up. Hint of sweet patchouli and the incense adds just the right touch of sexy. Sweeeet with a cotton candy note. If you’re a fan of Peach’s Revenge (not for me) La Capitale, Prima Donna, Venom Incarnat, Cassili or even Sunset Hour, you will love this one.

Not sure why the current statistics say that this is masculine? It isn’t at all, and I feel that I’m giving an objective assessment. Alas, I am not an olfactory sophisticate. To each their own. I would love this on my wife or on a younger gal. It’s youthful, fruity and vibrant and I really enjoy it.

Trying this from a free sample. It's very interesting, the opening is definitely that bright citrus, fruity scent, it's got a bit of a zing to it. Then almost immediately it transforms into sweet and smoky. The incense is definitely most prominent on my skin, but not in a way that's overpowering. And it's combined with a sweetness that balances it out well, not sure if that's coming from the florals or the cotton candy. If you don't like smoky fragrances, this one is def not for you, but if you don't mind a prominent incense note then I would say find yourself a sample and try it. I could see myself reaching for this again, but I'm not sure if I'd commit to a full bottle. Side note, my cat tried to lick my arm while I was wearing this. Not sure if that means she likes it, or if she was trying to get it off of me, so take that as you will. Art I think would smell like Dolce Sonata: The Sorceress by John William Waterhouse
