Ensemble

There is nothing ground breaking or 'edgey' about ensamble. Its a very good quality crowd pleasing tobacco and vanilla fragrance. A lot of the issues here from the more negative reviewers seem to be based on price, and that it's too mainstream. I wouldn't call this generic at all. But it is definitely one of my more complimented cool weather fragrances and one of my other half's favourites on me. Silage is moderate and longevity is 12 hours plus. I'd say this is similar to Herrera Mystery Tobacco but longer lasting and easier to pick up at a good price. Do I think it's worth the retail price tag? No probably not, but then again I feel the same about 90% of niche fragrances. If you are patient however you should be able to pick this up at 40/50% off the retail price which it's worth all day long. Bought a back up bottle last week :)

Very pleasant, if somewhat gentle fragrance from Sospiro. Forget the listed top notes, as this dives straight into the mid notes with spices similar to Xerjoff Ivory Route, but takes a far smoother direction, which makes for quite a soothing experience. Longevity is above average, but projection after the first hour is rather intimate. On clothing you will get wafts of the warm spices for around 12 hours, but for someone who wears Ivory Route on a regular basis like myself, I find my nose goes blind to this fragrance after a few hours, though I have received compliments some six hours after applying. Presentation is excellent, and the bottle substantial and tactile in the hand. Batch Code: 10718R If you find Xerjoff Ivory Route a little too strong or in your face, then I wholeheartedly recommend Ensemble.

I like it, dumb reach, easy to wear, versatile... The best way to describe it is sweat, floral woody scent (slightly spicy from the pink pepper). While it carries no exact resemblance, the following fragrances are in the same style: Pegasus PDM, Le Male JPG, Reflection Man Amouage, etc. To a lesser degree, second category is creamy sandalwood + spicy amber-vanillic scents: here you have Ivory Route ad Chergui. It is a very pleasant scent, maybe a little too pleasant border lining designer-ish? But very well done. Dries down to a little more dry but still smooth sandalwood base with a touch of ashy synthetic oud (that's supposed to create in impression of tobacco?). What I am trying to say is this isn't a tobacco scent; tobacco is more of nuance IMO. Definitely try if you like the above description!!!

This is great. Opening you get a sparkling bergamot that quickly fades into a soft sandalwood with tobacco support. The tobacco isn't too sweet or predominant. It's more of a support role to the sandalwood. The mid also has a floral nuance, likely from the pink pepper. The drydown is still sandalwood/tobacco but here you get a very beautiful woody and slightly spicy vanilla. The notes list Mexican vanilla which tends to be more woody than the bourbon variety. I love it, a little twist on the winter tobacco scent with more emphasis on sandalwood and a woodier and less overly sweet vanilla drydown that feels a bit unique. Worth a try!

Beautiful fragrance, so of course no good reviews on here. Does everything you’d expect from the notes. The citrus and Vanilla keep the tobacco in check so while it’s probably better suited for colder weather it’s not overpowering. Would I pay $400? No, but for around $200 absolutely

First 3-4 hours similar to Amouage - Reflection Man after that smells like Dolce&Gabbana - By Men. it's very good performans and sillage. Wonderful sandalwood and woody pink pepper mix with orange and fruity-floral notes. Amazing.

This is the top fragrance for me from Sospiro! I can't wait to have this one on my shelf! Never had anything like this. Talking about the price, they sometimes have 20% off so not that bad.

Sampled this fragrance and really like it! Only Sospiro I have tried, although have smelled other fragrances in the Xerjoff family.Just pulled the cord on a full bottle!

Seeing this have tobacco in it made me wonder about how the citrus tobacco vanilla would clash in this fragrance. Turns out it's pretty ordinary. I think it is an easy to reach for frag, but it's very designerish. Just a woody citrus spice fragrance in the dry down. Honestly it's not worth the effort and money you have to give to get it nowadays. Instead I suggest Rassai It's Essential. Same basis but affordable ($30) and easy to get.

Strange scent - mine smells like its gone off. The scent of a fragrance that's been left standing in the sun or left in a room that's too hot for too long. Almost a bit too sweet and overpowering. Don't think I'll be using it again.

My sister has this fragrance...its nicely blended but has neither the longevity or the sillage that I get from Erba Pura, also from the Xerjoff line . I do love it though, as it is spicy earthy smooth, in an understated kind of way. Also, this brings back memories, because there was, still is, I guess, this body spray called Intesa Unisex Ambra D'arabia (also italian) that I used to use during the late 90s. The memory of my olfactory buds somewhat say is spot on, though sometimes they can't be trusted...

Ivory Route Lite.... maybe. Reminds me of a designer scent I had about a decade ago. Can't put my finger on it. Smells nice... nothing more.

Musk, tobacco, sandalwood, & vanilla tonka beans mix. Nothing really special about it, mild and very common.

People who miss the old Chergui might like this. At first sniff I found it almost identical.

Is smells like an apple pie to me and is nowhere closed to by d&g.. that was much better
