Erba Pura Magica

Up top: fruity, sweet, clean, almost aquatic. The fruits definitely contain citrus but it's more than that. It's like passionfruit and other tropical fruits mixed with some florals. Dry down has some of the fruits and then vanilla, Iso E Super and mild musk. It does share a resemblance to Garnier Fructis shampoo but not nearly as much as the original one did. This one has a bit of Ambroxan (even though not listed, it's clearly here) with slightly nicer ingredients than the original making it lean more unisex and not screechy like the original. It's very sweet, so be careful with the trigger. Good for the summer evenings and I think men can easily pull it off. Longevity is beast mode on me. 12+ hours noticeable with strong push for hours. An 8.25/10 for me. Must love sweet fragrances but Provenzano took the original and smoothed it out, took out the screechy musk, added better fixatives and made it just better. (for reference, I'd give the original around a 7/10).

Erba Pura Magica by Sospiro is a rare fruity fragrance that completely changed my perception of fruity perfumes. While I never liked fruity accords before finding them weak and uninspiring, this one is a true hidden gem. It opens with bright fruits and citrus, but what makes it unforgettable is the rich caramel note, adding warmth, depth, and sensuality to the freshness. The blend is playful yet refined, and it creates a magnetic, addictive aura. The sillage is strong, leaving a bold trail, and the longevity is long-lasting, easily carrying through hot summer days. It’s one of my favorite summer fragrances, and I truly love it. This is the burner in summer. Xerjoff EP without vanilla and much less musk. I actually hate this type of scent. Sospiro has managed to make Erba Pura wearable for musk haters. The opening of the Magica is much more citric, fresher and stays a bit even in the drydown. Replacing vanilla with caramel was the right decision, fits much better. For men this perfume is better because a lot of cedar wood has been added. What bothers me is the high price, I hope Lattaffa Armaf or Al-Haramain can copy this fragrance as well or change it. Magica fits perfectly as a nickname, this fragrance really has something magical and will bring you a lot of compliments. Thanks for reading :* and always smell good friends.

This is a banger. They managed to take out the harshness from the Xerjoff EP. This tones it down a little, but it is still pretty beastly and has amazing longevity. These Sospiros are high quality and the perfumer is amazing as well. It is unisex and best for a sweet fruity summer fragrance option. Edit 1: I've been wearing this a lot lately. As a reviewer below pegged it: soapy and fruity. It opens very soapy and fruity almost like a shampoo. Once it dries down in about an hour, it blossoms into its sweet amazing fruity scent. Sillage on this one is great although it seems to sit close to the skin. I think the musk and underlying amboxian might cause some nose blindness to a certain extent.

Definitely softer & sweeter than the classic Erba Pura, in the opening🍭 Imagine that the cold fruity feeling in Erba Pura is heated with caramel and its sharp edges are rounded. I cannot say that I smell the notes one by one. It all makes itself felt as a whole to my nose. How to become a summer perfume without smelling like lemon cologne? Erba Pura Magica is the answer. Although the openning is quite different than the originial, they become quite similar in the drydown. Therefore, if you have the old version, I don't think you need to buy it just for the opening and middle notes. Does it perform as well as the classic Erba Pura? Well, we'll see... 💙

For everyone that disliked Erba Pura: try this one out. It takes out the original EP's muskiness and replaces the vanilla with caramel, making it kind of creamy and "thick" if that makes sense... Initially it smells like a fresh cotton candy warm weather fragrance and I think this is unisex right in the middle! Overall to my nose this smells really luxurious and it's not offensive/sharp at all, but again my nose can't really seem to catch well the Erba Pura DNA. Performance is definitely more than 12 hrs and I can't really say for projection since it's soft on my skin, but I'd say it's good as well. Solid 9/10 fragrance!

This frag is BEAST MODE. I've never called a frag that, but this one takes the cake for longevity. I wore it to my office the other day and was stopped probably five times because people could smell me, and they could smell which rooms I had been in. The next day, a co-worker said that she could still smell me in the office when she came in (and she came in before me). It smells a lot like Heroine by BTV to me, but a bit more synthetic musk and way longer lasting. I really love it. I think it's creamy, sexy, sweet, and easy to wear. Doesn't take many sprays, either!

I personally love it. But it is because I L O V E Erba Pura. They smell similar but to my nose, Erba Pura Magica has a little more fruits and woods that the original Erba Pura. Longevity (on my skin) is not as good as EP either. Maybe because there is less Musk? EP has a massive dose of musks and amber and EPM seems more well behaved, if that makes sense? I’ll personally stick with Erba Pura because it’d be redundant to have both but then again, if I found a good deal on this one, I wouldn’t say no to it, it’s truly D I V I N E✨✨✨

Miles clear of erba pura and erba gold. This fragrance is simply done better. Unlike erba pura, it remains consistently fruity, and much less synthetic and creamy. This smells like a fresh orchard, and the vanilla is replaced by the way superior caramel note, making the sweetness perfect and better blended. The musk is also done better than erba pura. If you like erba DNA, get this absolute masterpiece. It may not be for those wanting particularly masculine fragrances, but i think it is perfectly unisex. 9.5/10

First hour or so just smells like Xerjoff's Erba pura, no caramel or woody notes at all. The dry down/performance is the only upside to this, instead of musky it stays fruity/creamy all the way through. Amber Oud gold/Erba Pura/Ana Abiyedh; they're pretty much identical, only one that smells kind of different is Erba gold which is sweeter/feminine and Bharara King which is fresher/masculine. Scent:9/10 Performance:10/10

Originally, I wasn't a fan of this one on its own. Way too powdery and feminine leaning, although better than erba pura with the change of caramel. Call me crazy, but I layer this one with dior homme intense and get an incredible fruity sandalwood scent. They're both similar in the cedar base note so they don't clash, but I get the nice fresh fruits with a background iris and woody tone. Amazing stuff.

Great perfume.I love it more on my husband than me.The longevity is beast mode,lasts for weeks on his clothes and over 12h on his skin.Sillage is great too.He keeps one bottle of this perfume in the car.The whole car smells like Erba Pura even if is with the lid on.I’ve never felt a perfume to be so strong yet pleasant before

I love this. It smells clean, fresh fruity, sweet and lux. When I first smelled this it reminded me of Britney Spears fantasy. Obviously a more luxurious long lasting scent. The only thing I do not like is that I get a hint of a gasoline smell. I think it’s perfect except for that. Not sure if I got a bad batch.

This is the best version so far of erba pura, the opening is fresh almost photorealistic citrus, not sharp but juicy. The dry down with the caramel is stunning, erba pura by xerjoff is nice but it doesn’t smell fresh like the magica. I can see myself wearing this quite often as it is so versatile.

I like so much better than Xerjoff's Erba Pura or Kirke! It is much rounder, deeper and long lasting-when I'm wearing this, I get always compliments ( with Xerjoffs Erba I don't). So this is my faw. Erba Pura and I looove the balsamic note and the lots of caramel!

Deserve a Magica name to it, I dint even like original Erba Pura. But this is a real magic. It is brighter less thick fruity than the original. But the price is very expensive, if there any discount I can find definately I will purchase it.

Way less synthetic than Xerjoff Erba Pura, smells like natural tropical fruits - I get a bit of mango, kiwi and some other stuff and it's really nicely blended, and I got a great price for it. Successful blind buy. Would defo recommend

This is mouth watering. Fruity fresh caramel, with close to skin powdery musk and warm amber. Actually a 10/10, way better than the others.

How my nostalgia makes me think A&F Fierce smelled back in 2004. Fruity with a masculine, shower-fresh dry down. I love it.

Ill compare Magica here to Tiziana Terenzi Kirke and the OG Xerjoff Erba Pura. In short, both Kirke and the OG Erba Pura are much cheaper, last longer and project better than the Sospiro. All 3 smell very similar. Magica is sweeter and less sharp. Even though they are all synthetic smelling, Kirke is the least synthetic smelling - it has a weight to it that grounds the fruity notes( it may be the lack of prominent citrus notes). These arent the kind of frags you wear because you love the smell, or they transition and tell a story. These are frags you wear to smell good for others. You are trying to get a smell in the air. All 3 probably achieve the very similar results and will be hard to tell apart in the air. Given that criteria and the 30% price difference - its really a pass on the Magica for me. Magica is great on an island - solid 8/10. But not compared to its rivals. I havent tried Amber Oud Gold, but the other Amber ouds I own are pretty spot on inspired bys with good performance. It feels like this would be an easy profile to duplicate. Its probably worth a shot given that these arent especially nuanced frags. Theyre just fruity hammers.

It’s hard to tell the difference from Erba Pura Magica by Sospiro and Erba Pura by Xerjoff at first but after testing them both side by side for a week, I finally see a slight difference. Erba Pura Magica is much sweeter on my skin. It’s the same beautiful just way too sweet, almost makes me nauseous. Erba Pura is more citrusy at the opening to my nose. They both have lemon and bergamot as a top note so I’m not sure why I can’t smell any citrus notes in Erba Pura Magica. They both last really, really long and are super strong. If I had to choose one, I would go with Xerjoff EB just because it’s easier to find, cheaper and less sweet (on my skin...might be different for others). Althai it’s a fruity perfume I can’t imagine using wearing it during hot summer months. I would use it in spring or even winter because it could perfectly fit into holiday season - all the fruit notes! Or colder summer days, of course.

Really like this, full disclosure I have never smelt Erba Pura but used to own Amber Oud Gold. I gave it to my boyfriend as I wasn't a fan of the harsh musk but I’ve been looking for the same scent without the screechy musk and this is it! To me this smells like a tropical green mango in the opening, it does smell extremely similar to AOG but less synthetic and leans more mango than pineapple/Melon. The musk is toned down in this and is balanced much better with the caramel. I also find this has a more “clean laundry” smell to it in the dry down that I really like (maybe the jasmine). Also have found that this is much less beast mode. 8.5/10 but still deciding if I should purchase a bottle since it is so similar to AOG for $300 more for 100ml🥲

By far the smoothest and least “screechy” of the Erba Pura DNA. This is the only one I can actually vibe with (even over Erba Gold, which I love the opening of but unfortunately I’m not a fan of the drydown) and I’m wondering if it’s the substitution of caramel instead of vanilla during the drydown that makes it intoxicating. Projection is amazing but for some reason longevity on me is just ok, I think something must be up with my skin...

This one smells almost exactly like afnan’s supremacy purple. Up close it’s 95% and in the air identical. Great scent but for the price I would buy 4of afnan’s instead of 1 from Sospiro.

Would've been a very decent frag if it wasnt for that EXTREMELY SWEET dry down, it becomes so sweet to the point its just unbearable for me. The opening is nothing short of amazing tho

This is such a gorgeous summer scent. Sweet, fresh musky jasmine with some caramel. The bergamot still lingering in the back keeping this fresh and airy Mmmm, Very pretty

This is the good old Erba Pura from first editions. Beautiful fruits, amber and musks and nothing extra. Just wonderful! Its also more rounded and well balanced.

I got this perfume as a gift from a relative a few years back and ive struggled ever since to finish the bottle. I think it's a nice fragrance but very intense and also very mature in some cases, therefore I don't wear it as often. I think it smells very elegant, especially since wearing this is almost like a statement. Also, its so strong I have clothes I've washed 2-3 times and I can still feel the smell of the perfume coming trough. While I do enjoy this scent, mostly because of how intriguing I find it, my mum absolutely despises it and has complained that it smells like sweat, which i can see. It all comes down to ph levels. If you actually are obsessed with this perfume, then feel free to buy it as a bottle will last you a long time and your wardrobe will soon adapt to the smell and yku won't need to spray as much. I don't think it's a safe blind buy, best to try it out before committing to the price.

I did a side-by-side test of my sample of Sospiro’s Erba Pura Magica and Xerjoff’s Erba Pura. Surprisingly, their openings smelled different to me: Erba Pura Magica revealed a distinct jasmine note that I didn’t get in Erba Pura. However, as they dried down, the two became almost indistinguishable. As for my thoughts: Erba Pura Magica, like Erba Pura, is a long-lasting fruity fragrance with above-average sillage. It prominently features the iconic fruity accord that defines the Erba DNA, paired with vibrant citrus and sweet, balsamic richness from caramel and amber. I don't know what kind of crazy nonsense that Xerjoff and Sospiro pulls to make the citrus notes last so long, but they don't function like normal top notes here (they last for hours instead of 20 minutes). This isn't my cup of tea, but Erba Pura Magica was the original in this line and is pretty iconic not gonna lie.

Its more juicy than dense/gourmand leaning , I smell basically a fruit gummy and not much else. I would say its unisex but feminine leaning. I would not risk spraying more than twice on this or wear this in a more stuffy formal environment

I bought this fragrance after testing it both on paper and my skin at the store. The opening was simply incredible—an explosion of sweet, juicy fruits that felt perfectly unisex. Without a second thought, I purchased it, convinced that I had found something truly special. However, my experience changed drastically when I got home. The vibrant fruity notes disappeared, leaving behind a strong, masculine dry-down that I wasn’t expecting. If I had known how the scent would evolve, I probably wouldn’t have bought it. If you enjoy a bold, masculine, and dry fragrance in the later stages, this might be for you. But if you’re after a long-lasting sweet, fruity scent, you might be disappointed. But for those who love a powerful masculine dry-down, it could be a great choice.

Nauseating and just doesn't smell appealing. I have a decant and have heard about Erba Pura and this is supposed to be a better version but I just don't like it. It's like a synthetic fruit air freshener that gives you headaches.

Some of these reviews are baffling. This is not in any way less harsh or natural smelling, it has the same sharp amber / musk / jasmine accord that is found in so many Tiziana Terenzi fragrances. Erba Pura Magica is mainly two notes, the screaming super amber, and a nice sweet gummy bear smell behind it. It'd be nice if they were blended, but instead the experience is almost entirely the synthetic amber, I don't smell the fruity notes until I'm smelling a few inches from my arm. It's really disappointing how many fragrances share this same ingredient or accord.

From someone who is a hater of the musky/ambrocenide notes in the erbas: after reading comments saying this is smoother and less screechy than the OG erba and kirke, I was hoping this would be for me but unfortunately no. It is just as prominent in this one as in the originals. To my nose this smells like a strong sweet/tart/fruity fabric softener mixed with a heavy dose of windshield whiper fluid.

Recently took a liking to Erba Pura and naturally came across this. I've smelled both side by side. Straight up, these are roughly 80-90% similar. Similar fruity opening, similar development, and similar dry down. I will agree with people saying this is smoother, though. However, if the dry down of Erba Pura is what you love (such as myself) then stick with that. The main difference to me is in the dry down. Where Erba Pura dries down to a musky vanilla (heavy on the musk; almost like a lotion), Magica dries down to caramel with a very light musk. This makes the dry down of these FEEL very different. In reality, it's a very similar theme of sweet musk in the dry down. They differ in where the sweetness comes from (vanilla vs. caramel) and the amount of musk.

I ordered a sample of this and wow I must say I really love Sospiro Erba Pura magica over the OG it is perfection in a bottle it’s so clean, fresh, fruity and sweet. Good job of switching out the vanilla for caramel is spot on. This is beast mode and you don’t need to overspray 2 or 3 sprays will do just fine 😊 this last me over 12+ hours and it lingers until the next day I had amber oud gold and gave it was because it was so headache inducing but this is next level. This is definitely full bottle worthy which I will be purchasing very soon 😊💖✨

I have Erba Xerjoff on my left and Erba Sospiro on my right. The two big differences that I pick up on the dry down is Erba Sospiro, definitely has a caramel note that stands out to me. Erba Xerjoff has a slight vanilla note on the dry down. My first impressions was, I'm drawn more to Erba Sospiro, it smells more masculine to me, while Erba Xerjoff seems more Unisex. If I have to choose, which I do. I am going to buy Erba Sospiro. I think its just a better fragrance over all.

Had been curious to try the original Erba Pura but ever since Erba Pura Magica was released I really wanted a sample. I finally received it and it really is a beautiful, fruity and bright scent. It reminds me of a fruity, sweet, fresh and refined version of PDM Haltane in the dry down, minus the oud. It is different, definitely smoother than Haltane and leans more unisex/feminine. EP Magica is summer vibes in a bottle and it leaves an intoxicating scent trail in the heat.

The top notes are delightful and the hardy base notes make for an excellent dry down. This is my favorite scent from Sospiro; it's a perfume that has a longevity that puts most others to shame. I do prefer Erba Pura over Erba Pura Magica. I would recommend you sample both before buying a full bottle.

Beginner niche perfume. You will start your journey loving this, but over the years you ́ll start to love it less. Why? Because everybody has this, or a dupe. It ́s fruits on a basket. Nothing complex. Straight linear perfume. Excellent longevity, excellent sillage. Altough I dont like it anymore, it ́s a great perfume objectively speaking. Comparison with Xerjoff: Sospiro has more oil concentration, lasts more time, is more smooth. Better.

This is so much better than the regular Erba Pura. They’ve removed the screechy nature and also the soapy vibe and you get a smooth tropical fruity and fresh musky scent with the amber and a slight hint of caramel in the deep background. Such a nice happy fragrance to wear. Amazing upgrade on the OG. Awesome performance. Sadly though I disliked the drydown and sold it but I’m sure it will have its fans!

Sospiro erba pura magica is the most refined version I’ve tried compared to xerjoff’s & clones. no screechiness, juicy fruits that last throughout the entire longevity , yet it still gives a fresh vibe . Absolutely obsessed, such an easy reach. Tangy passionfruit , with caramel to give it a sweetness, combined with a powdered musk that’s tolerable. Unisex. Lasts forever.

I’ve tried a handful of Erba Pura dupes mainly because I genuinely love the original by Xerjoff but it goes incredibly sour on my skin by the 3rd hour. I think this is 85-90% spot on to the original but it’s ever so slightly sweeter and a little muskier. It doesn’t pull sour on me however it is very synthetic. I’d say beast mode but a little weaker than the original.

I was not prepared for how sweet this is. Not only is it sweet, it's also kind of nauseating. I'm not sure what it is--maybe it's the orris? There's a certain powderiness to this that's off-putting. Oh, and they also used a super amber in this.
