Erba Pura

There are very strong and long lasting fragrances, that lasts easily from 12h to 48h, but This is the longest lasting fragrance I have ever came across. 1 to 2 sprays on clothes lasts until it is washed away, what I mean by that, is that you can take out and wear same shirt or coat after a week and you do not need to reapply, it just projects. Scent wise, Fruity Vanilla and Ambery Musk with Orange touch, it is not something very unique or new by notes, but you can recognize it and stand out. It is very high quality smooth and rich, and absolutely pleasant smell, Rich in fruits, like quality Wine with dry fruits, reminds a bit of Pure Malt mixed with The Scent for men, very enjoyable,. After around 8h or 12h mark, in the very dry-down, scent is very linear and bit of synthetic, which reminds a lot of Classic Gold by Jaguar, a lot. I would say, it is a very best scent at the moment, that is not mainstream and overused by everyone. Cheapest from the Sospiro aka Xerjoff line-up, it is truly worth the money, specially for the performance and how little you need to use it. It is unisex, and i love it as a male, but I prefer this more on females. Tip: look for a different looking bottle then it is showcased here, a very light blue or in other words sky-blue bottle with velvety fabric skin, like other new Sospiro bottles, square box instead of tube. It is a better quality scent with superb performance, do not buy shiny blue old bottles of Erba Pura, they have only half the performance.

When I received a small decant of this fragrance. I was blown away. Cant believed I just discover this fragrance. Its like fruit cocktail in a bottle. When i first spray this on my arm. The whole room is fill with aura of this fragrance. Its very very sweet fruity smell. Remind of this Hawaiian fruit punch mix with all the different flavors and throw it in container and throw some bubble yum gum and mix it. This fragrance blew me away. It have me a wow look in my face. Its smells amazing.Also one this that amaze me is how long it projects on my skin. One spray projects at least 3 maybe 4 hours of beast projection and longevity at least whole day.I have a lot of strong fragrance that suits for colder months but i live in florida and summer here is very long. I try to wear my strong fragrances such as 24 gold, serge lutens, interlude man. But its hard to those tyope of fragrance on hot day. Im really glad i can wear this on hot season but will not overyspray because its really strong fragrance. This is my scent of the year for spring and summer. Im glad i have found this. Truly a beautiful fruity sweet scent. This is going to be in my personal collection. And cant wait to try all the sospiro fragrance line. 10/10

I recently discovered this fragrance when I was trying to explore line of sospiro and I got myself a 5ml decant and my initial impression are that Byredo pulp had a Harvard educated brother who like to drive Mercedes . This is by no mean a clone of Byredo but it falls in same genre as pulp . Pulp has a opening which is very rough and is very polarizing fragrance and because of that as lot of people either love it or hate it ( I personally love it ) and erba pura on the other hand has a very pleasing opening where you get blast of fruit with slight citrus . Just like pulp this is projection beast and last all day which is great however go easy on trigger as you can choke yourself and people around you . This fragrance made me feel like South American playboy and it's was so fun to wear . I felt like doing salsa and dancing with beautiful latin girls ( I suck at dancing ) . Erba pura checks all the boxes for me however price is the issue as I am not sure I want to own this along with pulp however once my pulp bottle is finished I be definetly buying erba pura . I will recommend all pulp lover and people who love fruit based frag to give this a try again this is sample first and not to be blind bought ( 8.5/10)

Truly gorgeous. The first spray is so sweet and fruity. Actually, a majority of the time it's sweet and fruity. I don't know if I would classify it as an unisex perfume. It is more feminine than unisex. The aspect of this perfume that I love the most is the spiciness! The musky notes! That's most pleasing to me. Truly does give me "erba" vibes. It also makes me think of pepper spray. I just don't understand why sometimes it just smells like outright basic sweet feminine perfume instead of the sexy oriental spicy musk I like. Whenever I smell it up close for more than like 4 seconds I can't smell it anymore. Changes smell, switching between strong musky and fruity sweet way too often and it is very unpredictable to me 😕 maybe it's just my nose reacting to the ambroxan... makes me mad because whenever I smell it on other people I smell it the way I like it most, then on me it is 80% of the time just sweet and fruity. This is why I personally think this is very molecular. I love getting whiffs of it throughout the day though. This is a pretty famous perfume in my country, I smell this occasionally on men and women alike and I can say it does last and project.

This smells like springy breeze of zesty fruits if that breeze were the size of hurricane Katrina. Monster sillage, monster longevity, you leave your scent where you go just with a few puffs, so use sparingly. Though I don't see people being offended by this, if they're not really sensitive. I see this being a clean, chic and carefree scent but also very sexy and vampy -must be musk, but this musk is well blended in, its not skanky at all. It's a certain base that I found in the Sospiro line. Let's be real here, this smells like sexy sex :) Unisex? Not in my opinion. I think it leans feminine, sorry boys. The new bottle of this fragrance is the tourquoise velvety one, the one pictured above must be the old one.

Tut tut, those people should have some shame!" is down right offensive...None of these reviewers needs to feel shame; most of them seem to have enough experience and knowledge to judge this fragrance truthfully. Whether a scent is "good" is subjective, plus it isn't "hyped" when there's only less than a dozen positive reviews -_- If you can compare One Million (which to me is trash) to this, there must be something wrong with your nose.

This one needs to be tested on the skin before purchasing bc it can be polarizing. On my skin it is a beast of a fragrance - a slightly sweet bright musky citrus. Unisex for sure. I wear it through the seasons, I find it better in the cooler seasons but stunning both day and night. Remarkable longevity and projection. It is clean, pleasant, and noticeable. Wore it once to my job when I underestimated its projection and my coworker told me they could smell my scent trail all day The staying power is impressive and I need another bottle!!

Super fruity, and very strong. This is easily the strongest juice I have ever smelled. If there is something that's after beast mode, this is it. The funnel I used to make a decant 3 days ago is still going strong, and I don't mean I can smell it a little bit, I mean when I walk into my room it's all I smell. Scent: 3/5 (Not great, but good) Sillage: 5/5 (People will smell you in the next bldg) Longevity: 5/5 (It last days) Compliment factor: Wore it once, and got 3 in a day. 1 from guy.

True, ahmad32, even votes reflects that, poor longevity? Erba Pura is one of the strongest, longest lasting fragrance I have ever encountered. But what can you do about it, hate applies on everything, expensive cars, or other any things, even healthy life styles, fitness or hobbies and etc. "they" just call it fake, unhealthy, undeserved, overhyped, best is just steer away from those unhealthy opinions based on blind hate.

I wish there were more than four spaces to list smell alikes. I am no expert but in my opinion, this smells like Guerlain Idylle Sublime. At least that is what is smells like on my skin upon dry down. I am wearing for the first time today and kept trying to place the smell. Finally did it. It smells deep and boozy fruity with sweetness. So glad I have it.

Love this perfume! I'm a man and I wear this beast regularly. Some would say that this leans heavily on the femme side but I beg to disagree. Since it lacks the floral component, It is definitley wearable for men. It is like wearing a clean white shirt with a high class fab con imo. So whenever I wear it, I feel clean and classy! p

Yes! Offcource it is a lovely scent; sweet fruit, little musky, little Amber! Popular with a little twist. Could be a new release from Lady Gaga..there we come to the point: This is a rediculous price for a fragrance you can even buy for a 5 euro like Al Rehab Dalal! Reminds ne of the invisible clothes of the emperor!!

Delicious, fruity and seductive. I can't stop sniffing my wrist. It's a magic potion in a gorgeous turquoise bottle, but ONLY if you like sweet fragrances, otherwise it's poison :) Perfect for any season, any outfit, it's an instant antidepressant for me. Just don't overspray it. A little goes a long way! 5* from me

A bomb of sillage and longevity. A mountain of thundering fruit trees in bloom. A drydown recognizable at a distance. Regal, witty, powerful, the scent persists even after a shower, I have been waiting for a long time an original fragrance like this one. Summer is now.

This is a master piece, it is a spicy fruity musky perfume. It a beast when it comes to performance. It is a crowd pleasing smell. It is feminine, I don't see it as an unisex perfume. It is sexy, it is uplifting, it is joyfull.

Doesn't smell like Aventus for her at all. Stunning fragrance, can't wait to add it to my collection. Please try it if you're interested because chances are if you rely on comparisons on here you're going to be mislead

Citrus, vanilla & musk with a hint of fruit on my skin... absolute winner in my book! Lasts all day long. This is one that can be worn anytime of the day & all year long. Get your nose on this one!

"Erba Pura, The Charismatic Demon" My nose has matured over the years of fragrancing to the point that the majority of citrus based fragrances or fresh scents bore me out. I have been struggling for a long time to find a fragrance that I can wear during warmer seasons. Sospiro Erba Pura has solved this problem although it has a little twist to it. Playful, fun, fruity, fresh, and sweet describe Erba Pura the best. It almost brings back memories of my childhood when I went to a nearby gas station store and could smell the large buckets of chewing gums. Yummy!! Super sweet fragrances give me headaches and coughs, but that's not the case with Erba Pura. Sweetness is achieved by fruits and high quality vanilla. Citrus adds a sour and fresh aroma to it. Amber and musk are also there to contain the sweetness. White musk becomes more prominent in the dry down. The longevity is so long that I don't even know what it is. I easily smell it on my clothes the next day if not more. Erba Pura can be worn all year long depending on how it is applied. Although it is fresh, it might not be the best fragrance for hot summer days. No more than one or two sprays should be applied in the summer heat. Maybe three sprays during autumn and spring and four in super cold days of Midwest. It is a youthful fragrance, so if you are worried about your age or aspire to be mature, it may not be the best choice for you. In addition, because it is a playful fragrance, I picture wearing it to night out events or clubs. However, since I have passed the clubbing, chit chatting stage, or unproductive conversations, I wear it to work. I can tell some of the coworkers want to push me against the wall and eat me out.... mmmm, I smell and taste yummy when I wear this little demon lol.

i agree with both of you. Calvini, i agree that this is one of the few fragrances that actually smell very natural. the fruits in this one is very strong. but then i do agree with Sezyvex about the hype. i bought this due to the raving reviews on this site and when i received it, i was a bit disappointed. not saying it is not good, because it really is, especially because of its uniqueness, but it was not what i was expecting. i really was expecting to be blown away and i wasnt.

I was expecting something fresh(too good to be true for a long lasting fragrance), but no, it's very sweet fruit - peaches I think... not very good for hot weather, probably better for spring/fall. The scent is neither very good nor bad, just some random sweet fruity stuff, but it's extremely strong, overpowering and long lasting. One should be careful with the sprayer, one spray is enough(to some, probably more than enough)

I'm surprised by all the beast mode claims; I've just sprayed a 1ml sample all over my arms and hands, and four family members had to bury their noses in my arms to catch even a whiff. It's nice and fruity enough, the sort of perfume I'd prefer to smell on someone else. It's a linen shirt, khaki shorts, leather sandals and sunglasses holiday fragrance, definitely unisex. Good, but not that good.

@Alina YvY You could be right. The 'amber' heavy note in this just makes it an absolute Ambroxan bomb. But as far as any other aroma chemicals go, I'd say Calone was in there perhaps; or Verdalia A.

I was sure that I smell as a "goddess" with this fragrance! The reality is that people prayed for stop using it :( This perfume irritates them, unfortunately and it makes me sad. I think I will simply not use it in the office anymore, but I don't give it up and will continue making myself happy by smelling it around myself! :)

Well, hello!!! I stated my true feelings after being very disappointed. My purchase was based upon reviews that we see below and I don't see anything wrong with what I had to state. With great rave reviews come great expectations indeed!!! This smells like Loreal 'Clean Power' deodorant to me, utterly synthetic, it hurts the insides of my nostrils! As for Calvini: If your opinions get you some votes then good on you. The constant need to be seen as good and being liked for whatever superficial reason is really beyond me. When we speak the truth, oh no.... we're really so bad and hostile! We must stop pretending that we care about people any more. We only now care about animals, trees, the birds and the bees, and perfume! And by the way, if we cared about all these things then we wouldn't be spraying these aroma chemicals, they harm the environment around us with their hazardous fumes but we all turn a blind eye to what is a fact. Word of caution: When something is really hyped up, it isn't really all that! Please do not waste your money and if you want something fruity/bubblegummy, go for the cheaper alternative; One Million comes to mind as it did when I asked around about Erba Pura but I was lied to. No one will admit to it. My bad I invested my trust once again only to be faced with such major disappointment. I used 4 sprays and an hour later I topped it up with 6 more because it didn't have the impact I was expecting after reading all these rave reviews. I experienced a rubberised note which took 2 hours to dissipate and about 4 hours down the line, I have to dig into my skin to smell the fragrance! I completely agree with asemqima about this being better on other people and too much on your own skin. One of my closest friends is a big fan of this and I always think she smells amazing, if a little too "loud". However, I tried this at her house once and I had to wash it off immediately as it triggered my asthma and I couldn't breathe anymore. Hours later I could still smell it on my wrist, in spite of washing it off. It's very interesting and very well blended. When I smell it on my friend, I get something very alcoholic, but difficult to pin point. I don't smell any of the fruity notes, just a heavy alcohol cocktail. On myself, I couldn't smell anything as I found it too overwhelming.

I kind of understand your need for attention Calvini but there are other platforms to get it from. I don't think I have said anything wrong or offensive and have given my honest take on something that greatly disappointed me. Having shame is a good thing I think. I am ashamed of myself that I made a purchase based solely upon glorified words, yours were there too... :( I really do not have time for this. Merry Christmas, Goodbye!

@Calvini, I make my smoothies at home from fresh ingredients. This doesn't smell anything like that at all. If it did, I would have no problem with it after having spent so much money to buy a bottle. I test fragrances on skin, on clothing and paper and I got the same result from all of them so I doubt it's a skin chemistry issue which I also believe is a myth.

Right off the bat, this is an extremely sweet perfume that is cloying and overwhelming. It’s an expensive perfume that doesn’t seem legit in any way. Notes are simple as mentioned. The opening till the dry down is kind of linear, ambroxan, ambroxan and more ambroxan!!! If that’s your thing, i would say go for it, but the problem is, it’s also offensive to others around you, I cannot imagine this on a suit or anything formal, nor on something casual, perhaps on shorts and flipflops going to the beach (that’s my best guess). I received it as a gift and i was super excited until i sprayed it and OH GOD, how repulsive that was; it literally suffocated me 😢 In any case, this perfume IMHO doesn’t fit for any season, but if you happen to be a fan, then I’d say summer and warmer spring days, both day and night. Cheap quality imo. The opening is nuclear but it settles down after 2 hours and from there it fades pretty quickly, so within 3 hours more it becomes lighter, which could make it bearable, but still cheap scent, it’s like those perfumes you buy at the gas station but with tons of glycerin for staying power. Longevity is a beast: 9/10 Quality: 1/10 Sillage: 7/10 Performance: 6/10 Uniqueness: 0/10 Price: 0/10 Versatility: 2/10 Overall rating: 3.5/10

Except for its first minutes which was fruity-powdery, this must be the strongest and most disturbing fragrance I have ever tried. As it developed, it got stronger and more, and made me hard to breathe. Overdose muskiness. I could not get rid of though I washed my arm twice. Test with caution.

Smells like alcohol with a hint of fruit. Someone I knew wore this fragrance and it lasted 25 hours, and that is after 2 showers. Buy Bharara King or Xerjoff Erba Pura instead, they don't smell like alcohol.

This is an ambroxan bomb!! Not a fan at all. But if you love ambroxan, give it a try.

Let me tell you something, this is one of the fragrances that got me in the game, and it was my top one. After I grew up, i feel that i find other fragrances more interesting and more relaxing and appealing. But what made me love this: Number1: it is the strongest perfume I ever wore all these years until this year. It is super strong fills a room easily and people keep complimenting even though compliments are rare here in my country. For me 3 sprays to 5 are enough, because I never think 2 or 3 are enough. People think it may be offensive, but if you go out of your house, the perfume will subside due the environmental factors. Number2: smells amazing, but not the most perfect I agree. Even though I haven't read anything about a reformulation but I believe it got reformulated. I believe it is better than most the fragrances people are talking about, soooooo underrated. But I need to give you one important notice here. THIS PERFUME EXCELS IN THE AIR, NOT CLOSE TO THE SKIN. People that smell you will go crazy, for me maybe I will say its 10 out of 10 easily. But when I smell it close up it's too powerful and nose blocking sometimes. So I will give it 7 or 8 out 10.

Total scrubber for me this one unfortunately. It's one of the strongest fragrances I've tested as well so it took some scrubbing I can tell you!! The problem I have with it is that it's just a fruity mess to my nose. There are no individual fruit notes to pick out and enjoy it's just mega fruity and not in a natural way either, just very synthetic fruit. If you're looking for something in the same vein go for Byredos Pulp which is a far superior creation to my nose, a much more realistic ripe fruit fragrance, very natural. Longevity and projection are huge but it's definitely a sample before you buy fragrance in my book, especially at this price point. It won't be to everyone's taste, certainly not mine and I'm a huge Xerjoff fan.

Not sure what I think of this one yet,as I've only worn it for the first time today, but it's not a love at first sniff or anything to go crazy over. The scent is pleasant enough, it has this smoky thickness to it from the strong, dry amber. It is the backbone of the fragrance, like Sauvage with ambroxan. It carries the fragrance and gives it most of the strength, and almost borders on cloying. The fruity notes on the other hand, are blended to the point there are no sharp notes - almost milky in a way - like a bowl of fruitloops, or a berry sorbet - with no specific fruit note or citrus note that is sharp or discernable. Someone else mentioned bubble gum, which I can sort of detect from this as well

This one begins with a blast of splashy fruits which was a kind of drawback. But when it calmed down it changes into a quite amusing essence, fruitti vanilla cream with a soapy musk & slight citrus freshness. It is quite amusing, summery, and happy fragrance with a tiny bit of sex appealing in between. Captivating but it needs time to settle, so you need to give it more time before you judge it. Edit (20th Aug 2017) Nope, the base of this fragrance is oud and saffron, then comes the fruitti side, it is quite obvious that it's oriental frutti fragrance and not a frutti based one. Amber is there, the musk isn't but the rest is there specially the vanilla, and the top conquering notes are saffron & oud.

Love this. It smells like an imaginary orchard on Mount Olympus with the heavenly mingled scent of peaches, apples, strawberries, figs, plums and pears, underlain by a subtle musk and faint vanilla. It lasts ages and still smells divine at the end of the day - only one spray required. I bought a tester from Notino. I wore this and went out with my mum - she has an incredible sense of smell, and she kept remarking how wonderful I smelled (and looked rather jealous!) - a real first! I bought a full bottle from Harrods (only place online selling the full bottle at the time)- the bottle is astonishing with the blue synthetic velvet coating and gorgeous gold top. Its a pleasure to own and wear.

This is a fruity blast dominated by mango and peach notes. Longevity and projection is beast mode! 18 hours and a shower later, you can still smell it on your skin. Can't ask for more except that I was hoping I can share this with my wife but it is too feminine leaning for my taste. I detect a floral smell even if there's none listed above. In the mid-drydown, it becomes powdery and more musky towards the end. Only around the 12-hour mark it leaned towards more musky and masculine which was coupled with the toning down of the fruit and floral accords. High quality stuff! Definitely enjoyable - but more for the opposite sex only, : (.
