High to Lotus

Experiencing this fragrance is utterly intoxicating and beyond satisfying. Every note I can discern is gorgeously natural, but I have to highlight the sandalwood - spacious, floaty, ever-present perfection. Perfection is also the artichoke, lotus and seaweed opening. And the minty, powdery, floral middle with peppery, star-anise touches. As well as the musky, spicy vanilla-patchouli drydown. Perfectly perfect perfection. A beautiful, elegant scent for special occasions or moments of decadent self-care. (If my partner didn't hate the whole lotus/anise/fennel family of notes with a passion, I'd definitely wear High to Lotus to our wedding.) To me, this is a private, ethereal, peaty swamp. It's just the right meditative shade of green and just the right temperature, like turning your pillow to the cool side on a hot night. Exactly as you start getting enough of the silky smooth, healing mud under your feet, sparkly glitter, velvety to the touch, comes pouring down from the deep violet sky. Neon frogs begin croaking a luminous lullaby. What a place to be High to Lotus.

Space Fluid is a voyage to embark if you want something unknown but familiar. That statement is all the more true for High To Lotus. The oddity is that there’s a vegetable quality to it, but you never know quite what. It’s like if you worked part time as a farmer in a different quadrant of the universe. It’s so warming yet airy and bizarre, that word is what circles around all of this brands perfumes but in the best way possible. Artichoke, lily pad, coriander a cacophony of water florals and so many unknowns, would love to have a more experienced nose to pick apart this better but the mystery of familiarity with each component is part of what makes it so interesting. High to lotus needs to be experienced thoroughly, super unique, untapped themes and the highest quality of raw ingredients.

to paint a picture: this perfume smells like you went on a long walk through a state park in the dead of summer, and now you’re resting by a pond and enjoying the views of the sparkles dancing off the water. very green with a dankness to it. very beautiful and I would absolutely recommend.

The smell of cut grass decomposing (without any rotting odor), tall herbs, grasses, and clovers in a misty, calm, water-saturated atmosphere with a smooth, mirror-like lake in the distance. This creation is flat, without volume (absolutely nothing negative in these two words) but it is so beautiful and poetic; it tells me of the calm of a damp meadow in the evening, where frogs croak and crickets chirp. Wow! What an olfactory impact!
