100% Love

Clearly this is a bit of a challenging love-it-or-hate-it fragrance, not one of the easy scents designed to please the masses. As one of the masses, i of course love an awful lot of those scents--but I love this one, too. It took me a little time to appreciate it as much as I do now, and I would not recommend this as a safe blind buy--but after I'd used up my sample, I haunted EBay for a full year with an eye out for a deal on this scent. The first time I smelled it I got simply chocolate and raspberries, it took a few tries for my nose to be able to pick out the rose and musk, but now that they are clear to me I no longer catch anywhere near as much berry note. The chocolate in 100% Love is dark, bittersweet, perhaps brushed with sea salt, a grown up gourmand more than milky confectionary. I thought the raspberry complemented it nicely, and it blends incredibly with the rose and musk. I will confess this can be a bit of a weird scent, with a mustiness that keeps it from being too sweet. It's not one I wear very often, the mood has to be just right and so does the weather--but when everything comes together just right, this fragrance is magical. This is a cold weather and/or rainy day scent, but in my opinion would be overwhelming to the point of unpleasantness on a warmer day. I think it's the musk, which lends this a real animalic undertone that, embraced by the chocolate, could become almost sour and smothering on a hot day. But then I'm also surprised by the comments on how light the sillage is on this, because I experience 100% Love as a real powerhouse, with enduring longevity to boot.

Very, very surprised that this is a Sophia Grojsman perfume. Seriously: this came from the same mind that gave us Tresor, Paris, and White Linen? 100% Love is just twisted. It opens with a chocolate-banana that reminds me of scratch 'n' sniff stickers, and then shows a weird floral that I finally decided was a sort of fermented rose. Then, if I smell my wrist long enough, say 10 seconds, to get past the rose funk, it smells to me of something toasted and warm, like salted butter browning in a pan, or like toffee. I''m going to go with toffee, because the chocolate gourmand edge is still there. I like 100% Love. I bought a sample on Surrender to Chance and I might go back for a 5 mL roll-on, because I like to wear a perfume on my wrist that isn't the same as the main one that I spray on for everyone to smell. I like to sniff my private scent discreetly and think about it through the course of my day. 100% Love is perfect for that.

Not sure what all of you are talking about: this thing is euphoric! A big, fresh, fruity rose on a stark background of hot chocolate. For once it's exactly what it says in the list materials, done with a giddy panache typical of it's awesome creator, Sophia Grojsman. It's an intense, swirling confection, that even reminds me intermittently of beer or freshly baked bread. This is not for everyone, as the rather offensive review section here proves. But if you're feeling tempestuous, romantic and joyful, this was made for you. 5/5

no much more to say the: the ladies master piece - or so - or one of the 1000 master pieces - just can not stop smelling it and vaporised onto the right person its just a drug --------- thx lady s.

ok. basically when i first smelled this from the bottle i 100% agreed with the 'berry vomit' descriptions and such...but! i was in the mood to try something sweet smelling and i thought i would go ahead and finally try and put this on and seriously its kinda nice. It in no way made me nauseated or horrified which i somewhat expected. There are times when the berry comes on a little too strong but i really like the tartness and the chocolate and musk and whatever florals are in here are surprisingly nice and smelling quite yummy. I cant really imagine this being an everyday type scent but what i have been passing as something that would probably be best suited for a stripper...well not only and im re-thinking it but im kinda into this! *It also reminds me of the way the strawberry shortcake dolls smelled in the 80's

With this you really have to know the history behind the brand. Then things fall into places. This is an avant-garde art object. The beginning of this is really off-setting, those sour fermented berries are not what you expect 100% Love to be opening with. But this is exactly what was meant to be. And after some ten minutes this sourness flies off and you enjoy cocoa rose and musks. I simply love Nobi Shioya for his contribution in olfactory designs. All three first S-perfume’s are masterpieces to me. Greatest noses behind them!

Gourmand with a twist. When I saw the strange combination of notes I had to give it a try. Fortunately not too sweet for me. I do get some valerian (skunk weed, I call it) but it's blended well thanks to the master perfumer. If it weren't for the cacao it might be a love instead of a like and smell more like I'd just returned from picking berries out in the woods. Smooth-textured with good sillage and longevity.

Truly a unique formulation. Although it is not a safe blind buy, it’s definitely cheap for the thought that went into it. It’s somewhat uncommon and interesting on the right people. Chemistry. You just have to try. It. As far as formulas go it’s def in my top 20 of unique.

Smells like chocolate covered smoked cherries. Is so tantalizing, and it is so gourmand without being childish, linear, and boring. What an exciting smell...I keep thinking about it...and I don't get ANY vomit. It is a bit 'scratchy' though...

Chocolate covered cherries on acid. Psychedelic! This is a serious like of mine!

This is a fruity heavy scent. Opens up very fruity (red fruits) and dries down to a powdery, fruity smell with some green touches in the back alongside a little musk. The red fruits and powdery aspect of cacao are the main players giving the perfume a shower gel like smell in the dry down. Quite unique, but I dont like it.

The fruit is the main scent here, and it's musty and nasty. Dusty fruit, maybe even rotting, there's just a disgusting scent there. This also projects a very sharp, very artificial note off my skin, this is not good. I think I would have to agree with the others who have said this - it smells like fruit vomit. Breathing closely and deeply I can just catch the hint of a delicious dark chocolate, but it is covered up by those horrible notes. I am honestly not sure I would be able to recognize it as there if I didn't know it was supposed to be. A few minutes later the fruit vomit is still the top note, but underneath it is smoky and musky with the chocolate base. I like this, except for the fruit. The smoky part I think would make a good incense. So, overall, this is a dislike for me.

I really thought I would love this perfume for some reason-- I had heard it described as "chocolate rose" which sounded pretty good to me. I must say, I do not get that description at all or smell that description either. I think this is a very interesting and evocative perfume-- unfortunately for me it is evocative mostly of being incredibly hungover on raspberry vodka shots and all the activites that entails. It has a really sour, acidic berry note I can't quite get past to enjoy any other part of it. The cocoa note too is weird and sour to me, not particularly chocolate but more like a bar of Hersheys chocolate that was burned, foil wrapper and all in the microwave. It's an interesting smell but not, to me, a good one.

The only perfume that has made me feel very uncomfortable and sad. Please excuse the description, I am trying to be honest in my reviews; plus I have given this a good test a few times and kept in for a few months just to see if my feelings will change. No. It always reminded me of a sad funeral, where the smell of the roses is mixed with sorrow and decay. Literally the only perfume I had to scrub off every time I wore it because of the sadness it filled me with. Sophia Grojsman still remains a legendary perfumer for me though

100% Love somehow reminds me of a cousin of Viktoria Minya's Hedonist. Unlike Hedonist, 100 % Love opens with sour fermenting fruit and chocolate. After a few minutes, it becomes a soft fruity, soapy floral. In the drydown, It settles down into a soft sweet fruity floral with just a bit of the sourness still detectable. While I would never need to own this scent, it does improve quite a bit as it dries down. I would recommend sampling this one before purchasing. It is very different.

I'm sorry to be so harsh but you know that acidly sweet smell vomit can have to it? That's what this reminds me of. I placed some on only one wrist (thank goodness) and I couldn't wash it off fast enough. My stomach tightened and I could feel acids creeping up into my throat. I have never had such a reaction to a fragrance before. It is now in the waste basket. Thank goodness we have the option of purchasing samples without the risk of buying an entire bottle.

this reminds me of cheap lip gloss. I felt ridiculous wearing it. There are occasional flashes of something much nicer underneath, but the overwhelming berry-vomit means I had to wash it off. I can't be bothered to give this a few tries - I could be wearing something much nicer and life is short. Binned. 0/10 (PS: I wrote this, then I read other reviews describing it as "berry vomit" - so this is a common reaction *phew*) :(

yes I bought this one after Luca Turin raved about it and gave it 5 stars....no,no! The chocolate in this gave me headaches and made me quite sick to my stomach....but it was packaged as the white bottle at the time (about 7 years ago)which shows on this site as made by VAPO and has different ingredients. These ingredients above would have been what was in the white bottle. Dislike for me!

At first application I got all cherry robitussin. Later dried down to sea salt, rose, and old fashioned Johnson & Johnson strawberry shampoo. Not for me, but definitely a unique rose.
