Cereza Daiquiri

It's definitely giving Lost Cherry vibes, however, Cereza Daiquiri is a bit more complex, longer lasting, and reasonably priced. Cereza Daiquiri is sweet and creamy, a well blended scent that is easy to wear and enjoy! I purchased the travel spray just in case I wasn't a fan or it was too close to Lost Cherry. Let's just say I will be purchasing a full bottle of Cereza Daiquiri because I will reach for it much more than Lost Cherry, which I have also. Cereza Daiquiri also reminds me of Clean Reserve's Whipped Cherry, which i also have a travel of and was contemplating purchasing the full bottle...decisions, decisions!

Very realistic boozy cherry, the sort that sits over a dark cocktail glazed. The dry down is sweet cherry ever so slight laconic woods close to skin. Its pleasant to smell throughout the day something a bit different, I'm surprised that this isn't lasting for some as for me I smell it over my clothes days after. Its fantastic so are most sphinx fragrances

This is a way better version of TF Lost Cherry, it’s more smooth, longer lasting and more interesting. It smells like a complex vanilla cake that’s covered in cherry syrup.

With Cereza Daiquiri, the direction is immediately clear, leaning into a fully indulgent, cocktail-inspired gourmand built around cherry in all its forms. The name alone suggests something vibrant and playful, but the note breakdown tells a deeper story, layering cherry syrup, liqueur, and black cherry with caramel, almond, vanilla, and rum to create something that feels both boozy and dessert-like. It reads as decadent, almost over-the-top, with multiple textures of sweetness stacked on top of each other, balanced by subtle fruit and wood in the background. Let’s pour a glass and see how this cherry-laced composition develops once it meets the skin. Opening: The opening is fruity, sweet, and boozy. The primary notes I get are black cherry, cherry syrup, cherry liqueur, and almond milk, with the black cherry and cherry syrup leading. The black cherry introduces a dark, tart fruitiness that feels natural and juicy, immediately establishing a realistic cherry accord. The cherry syrup builds on that, adding a thicker, more concentrated sweetness that leans candied and slightly sticky, amplifying the gourmand character. The cherry liqueur layers in more cherry from underneath, but brings a boozy warmth that gives the opening its namesake cocktail-like quality, likely supported by the rum note in the base. Lastly, the almond milk sits more quietly in the background, adding a soft nuttiness and a smooth, lactonic creaminess that rounds out the sharper edges of the fruit. There are also subtle nuances woven throughout, with hints of vanilla adding a creamy sweetness, plum introducing a darker, slightly tangy fruit tone, and toffee contributing a lightly burnt sugar accord that deepens the overall richness. The result is a dense, indulgent opening that feels unapologetically gourmand and immediately satisfying. From the first spray, the resemblance to Tom Ford's Lost Cherry is clear, but Cereza Daiquiri takes that familiar DNA and pushes it further, making it feel fuller, richer, and more decadent. Dry Down: The dry down is fruity, sweet, and floral. The primary notes I get are cherry syrup, black cherry, toffee, and Turkish rose, with the cherry syrup and black cherry continuing to lead. Together, they carry that cherry-centric DNA forward with ease, maintaining the same balance of sticky sweetness from the syrup and a tart, juicy depth from the black cherry. As the fragrance settles, the cherry liqueur fades away, taking much of the boozy edge with it, and in its place the toffee steps forward more confidently, adding a deeper, slightly burnt sugar richness that enhances the gourmand character. Finally, the Turkish rose emerges in the background, bringing a soft, elegant floral touch that adds a bit of contrast and refinement without overpowering the sweetness. The lactonic elements from the milk and almond milk remain present as subtle textural layers, giving the composition a smooth, creamy feel, while the vanilla continues to reinforce that soft, dessert-like sweetness. The result is a dry down that still clearly sits in that Lost Cherry-inspired space, but begins to differentiate itself more, feeling fuller, more textured, and slightly more developed as it settles on skin. Performance: Projection in the first hour is powerful and easily capable of filling a small room, making an immediate and noticeable impression. Sillage follows closely behind with a dense, heavy scent trail that carries the rich, cherry-laced sweetness through the air. After about three to four hours, the performance remains largely unchanged, still projecting strongly and leaving a strong scent trail with very little drop-off, which speaks to the density of the composition. As it moves into the later stages around the seven to eight hour mark, the projection begins to settle to about three to four feet, while the scent trail softens but remains perceptible. It continues to wear steadily until around the nine to ten hour mark, where it transitions into a skin scent, maintaining a soft, sweet presence up close. Overall, this is a strong performer that holds its character well throughout its lifespan. When to Wear: Cereza Daiquiri is best suited for fall and winter, where its rich, sweet, and gourmand nature feels most at home in cooler air. It works comfortably in both daytime and evening settings, though it leans slightly more toward the evening where its depth and sweetness can fully shine. It makes for an excellent choice for special occasions or date nights, where its indulgent and attention-grabbing profile can stand out, but it is just as enjoyable in more relaxed, casual settings when you want something bold and comforting. That said, its density and sweetness make it less appropriate for formal occasions, and it would likely come across as too heavy and intrusive in an office environment. Blind Buy: For those already familiar with and fond of the Lost Cherry DNA, this is a relatively safe blind buy. It takes that recognizable profile and pushes it further into gourmand territory, making it feel richer, fuller, and more indulgent overall. However, for those who are not familiar with this style of fragrance, or who are unsure about dense, sweet, cherry-forward compositions, sampling is still the safest approach. The intensity and sweetness may not align with everyone’s preferences, so it is worth experiencing on skin before committing. Final Verdict: Much like how Cairo Nights served as Sphinx Fragrances’ interpretation of Althair, Cereza Daiquiri clearly positions itself as their take on Lost Cherry. The resemblance is immediate and unmistakable, but where this one separates itself is in execution. It takes that familiar cherry-laden DNA and amplifies it, leaning further into the gourmand aspects to create something that feels richer, deeper, and more indulgent from start to finish. Performance is another area where it stands out, delivering noticeably stronger longevity and projection compared to the more fleeting experience I had with Lost Cherry. Despite those improvements, it ultimately comes down to personal preference. For me, I tend to gravitate toward cherry fragrances that lean a bit more masculine, and this one sits on the sweeter, more feminine side of the spectrum. Because of that, it is not something I would add to my own collection. That said, for anyone who enjoys Lost Cherry and wants a version that feels more substantial and performs better, Cereza Daiquiri presents itself as a compelling alternative that is well worth exploring.
