Strawberry Sugar High

This is amazing, addicting even. Beautiful, sweet, delicious perfume that is not banal. It is not straight up food like yet florals are not overwhelming at all. If the are any florals, to me only the honeysuckle is noticeable and I'm absolutely loving it. There is sweet, fruity sugar - marshmallow - Vanilla vibe going on and the strawberry is more like a gently flavoured strawberry candy which is not too sharp, not too artificial nor too realistic. It is absolutely addictive, feminine and suited for any occasion. Not a beast, thus I definitely want to overspray. It does indeed have some similarity to Love Don't Be Shy by Killian, but I'm not a fan of the latter - to me it is somehow off putting, don't like the neroli note in it, etc.

Maybe not for a night at the Opera, but for a nice summer day it’s lovely. It’s a Barbie-like beauty that will evoke happy childhood memories for boomers to Gen Z’s with a youthful spirit.

This has the same DNA as Oriana (by Parfums De Marley) and Love, Don't Be Shy by Kilian. For some reason, this particular fragrance lasts longer than its more expensive counterparts. It has a creamier note, and on my skin, has a sweet and milky end note.

Love it. Does not smell flowers and musk though... It’s sugary, strawberry, caramelly and sweet. Warm...

Now imagine boiling it a bit too far until sugar starts to caramelize. The florals are very light and dissipate quickly. Most strawberry notes don't work on me at all - for whatever reason, about 4/5 of them smell like vaguely strawberry-scented nail polish remover to me, including some of the most popular strawberry scents (think Burberry Her and flankers). Even Strawberry Kiss, the other strawberry fragrance from this house, is like that on me. But when I saw the notes for this, I had to try it anyway. I'm happy to say this is among the 1/5 strawberry notes that work for me and doesn't smell like a nail salon! It's not a very complex or challenging or "niche" smelling scent - to me it's like a sugary, crunchy/hard shell strawberry candy. But as a gourmand lover with a finicky body chemistry that tends to do well with "basic" candy scents, that's just fine with me! I can't stop sniffing my wrist!

I’m getting a mix of strawberry soda and Froot Loops with a shot of bubble gum for good measure. Maybe juvenile, but I am of the mind that it doesn’t matter what age you are, if you love the scent, wear it. Why should we ladies (and gents) be boxed in by ‘old lady’ perfumes or ‘little girl’ perfumes? If it smells good on you, OWN that shit lol. I love Strawberry Sugar High. I purchased the discovery set from Sphinx and so far, this one takes the cake. 🍓🍬🍰

I’ve now had some time to sit with it and I really enjoy it - I tested it against my Miim.miic 54 strawberry milk which is a dupe for Melanie Martinez cry baby and they smell 95 percent the same except strawberry sugar high is slightly sweeter with an addiction of a mild marshmallow. I like it but not sure yet if it’s worth a full bottle when I already have Miim.miic 54 🤷♀️

This scent right away makes me think of the dubble bubble gum from my childhood always wishing to get more of that taste because it always faded too fast. It’s sweet but not too intense I’m constantly craving it, I found the smell to be similar to Montale’s Mukhallat but a more wearable version where I’m not being choked out by the scent.

I agree that this fragrance is like Love, Don't Be Shy with strawberry. Reminds me of candy. It's very sweet and feminine. It's also long lasting since it's an extrait de parfum. If you enjoy sweet gourmand scents, please give this a try.

I really wanted to love this - unless they mixed this up with Sugar kiss they smelled identical and bright sour not very sugary sweet. I was sadly disappointed.

Nothing unique or special but it smells good. Smells like LDBS with a hint of tart strawberry. If you like that same fragrance DNA, then you'll like this.

Oof this takes me back to my childhood. It smells just like strawberry bubblegum and strawberry soda. It has a catchy bottle design as well.

Opening is strong honeysuckle and jasmine with strawberry as backup and a hint of caramel. The milk and musk develop over time, but everything fades quite quickly. It is very sweet as promised and the jasmine + citrus + sugar give it a bit of bubblegum, especially in the opening. But at this price point I'd expect better longevity. Theodoros Kalotinis does this strawberry toothache type scent better and STRONGER with Bubble Gum Factory. Both of these are too sweet for me as regular wears, but the Kalotinis is cheaper and just plain better at the sugar high.

This smells nothing like Delina. Strawberry sugar high is a fragrance for a little girl in elementary school or middle school. I wouldn’t even recommend this for someone in high school the way how juvenile this smells SUPER SUPER sweet strawberry. Almost like a strawberry smothie but without the fruitiness and just a bunch of sweetness 10/10 scent only if you’re 18 or younger. I’ll give this a -1/10 on a older women in her 20-40’s

Smells like spoiled cereal milk. An immediate no. I wanted a sweet, elevated strawberry, but this is artificial, flat, and off-putting.

Immediate no. Smells like berry cough syrup. It tries too hard to be palatable and just misses all the marks. This is headache Inducing, synthetic. Absolutely not. Even my best friend smelled it and was repulsed.

I just received a 1mL sample of this from scent split. I was eager to try it because the notes look delicious!!! I work at an elementary school so I like to wear fun fragrances. When I first smelled this, I can see the comparison to Oriana and Love Dont Be Shy or even Sintra but they are all very different. They are all sweet yes. But all very different. To me Oriana opens up fresh like laundry due to the white florals and then it goes into its sweetness kinda like fruit loops... Love Dont Be Shy has a sharp note that I do not like and it is really sweet. Sintra has a green note that I do not like and it smells like Love Dont Be Shy. This Strawberry Sugar High smells nicely with the strawberry but then it starts to smell like bubble gum before it becomes creamy a little latonic and powdery. At first I was going to dismiss it as an L. But now that I am wearing it today I think I like it... I am going to work my way up ... I am going to order a 2mL since it comes in a glass spray bottle. See how it is when it is sprayed vs. dabbed. Then I will get a 5-10 ml before investing in the full bottle if I like the 2mL. But overall this is nice for springtime idk if it will work in summertime Oriana would probably be better since its fresh to me. But i could see this being worn maybe in spring and autumn? Now sure.... The bubblegum is the only thing that took me by surprise Does anyone else smell bubblegum?

This has a very candle like scent. It even reminds me of some hair conditioning products. Most notably Circle E Candles Bird of Paradise, Aussie Moist shampoo/ conditioner & Just For Me Leave in hair milk. This isn’t as sweet as I expected. It’s more of a creamy scent with artificial strawberries. It’s nothing like Love don’t be Shy. Not even related. I honestly haven’t smelled anything like this on the mass market. It’s like they took those cheap corner store perfume oils (specifically butt naked or sex on the beach) & added perfumers alcohol to make it a spray. It’s also similar to Enfusia Lets Get Naked. Nice but kinda cheap smelling & juvenile. It’s more of a soft scent.

A blast of super sweet strawberry sugar kick on initial spray. I loved the notes listed but it was too sweet when I first purchased (blind buy). I had to sit her in the back. I didn’t touch the fragrance for about 3 months. The notes have settled more together. It is a warm cozy strawberry scent with creaminess. I only detect a hint of jasmine. This may change later in which my nose may detect more of the florals. It has mellowed nicely for me. So happy this is in my collection.
