Zaurac

Kinda similar to TF OW but this is much spicier, to the point where it makes me sneeze, and the Oud is toned down in this compared to the original or other clones. This is also smoother all around. It’s good, I like it as much or more than OW. I have the brand’s 11 piece discovery set and this one stands out the most to me. Btw, it seems like every one of their scents is a obvious clone of something which makes me skeptical of the brand and their prices. Like I wouldn’t mind if they were much cheaper but I’m not about to spend $300 a bottle for a clone. Performance is great compared to standard American/Euro designer fumes, but I wish this had the impact other Arab frag houses like Amouage are known for.

This stuff is strong asf and last for ages. 12h+ easily. To me this smells a bit soapy and clean, sharp, fresh spicy and maybe like a suede smoothness to it This is dressed up for sure and can be pulled off on summer nights but go easy on the spray. 3-4 is 🙌🏽

Man this stuff is amazing. Wouldn’t be surprised if it blows in the next few months or years. Starts off with a oud and pepper like you’d expect but quickly smoothed by the amber. I got vanilla and cardamom on the dry down. maybe a 10/10

This one & TV are the only two frags that make me wait for the next day to come so that i can spray it on myself.

#1483 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant. Nothing differentiates this from Fragrance World "Oud Wonder", Rayhaan "Wood Noir", Fragrance Avenue "Pure Oud Wood", Le Chameau "Arabia Al Oud", Hamidi "Celestial Wood", BellaVita "Oud Parfum", Camara "Sweet Oud", Milestone Perfumes "Oud Woody", Maison Alhambra "Woody Oud", you probably can add another five or ten dupes of Tom Ford "Oud Wood" off the top of your head and 100 more that are just one or two degrees off. It's one of the most, if not the most duped scent of all time. Really cheap dupes too. Apparently we're not all sick of it yet because it seems another no name bargain brand comes out with another Oud Wood dupe every week. Wait a week and Maison Alhambra will bring it out in a different bottle with a different name. So why would anyone in their right minds pay $190 for this Oud Wood dupe? Just to get it in a gold painted bottle? Granted this is 50% the cost per ml as the original. But any of the dupes are 10% of the cost. Spirit of Kings has a few nice scents that are not just note-for-note copies. This is not one of them. It's a good dupe, good performance. Nothing special about it. Lots of cheaper dupes available that all perform as well. Save your cash for something unique.

Better performance than Oud Wood, by a little bit. I find the original drier and spicier, this one has a stronger play-doh smell, especially in the opening. Not a huge fan, but probably better value than Oud wood.

Its basically less sweet halfeti. Not a surprise, because same nose is behind halfeti. Like both versions, although this one is more wearable for me.

This smells more like Carved Oud than Oud Wood. I was hoping to find a cheap alternative to Oud Wood, which I feel is a must-have. I am happy to have Arrakis as a cheap alternative to Tygar, but Zaurac work for me.

I can see the comparison with Tom Ford OW.... A bit more spice though... I got an excellent deal for my bottle, an easy reach in my collection

An easy going, TF OW clone. More subtle and less interesting than the inspiration.

Similar to Oud Wood, perhaps a bit sharper.

As an OW lover, I finally had the chance to try this one. I found it quite close to the original, however it does have a few differences: Scent profile - Same as OW, pretty close to it and I would say yes, this is a dupe. Scent profile/note differences - Creamier, stronger. The oud note is definitely stronger and longer lasting, more animalic than OW, and just a tad spicier but not by a lot. The oud note is the main difference to my nose, especially during the drydown where it gets skankier-oudy as oud tends to do. Longevity - Better performance and longevity than OW, but not in exaggerated levels. It does beat the original in performace and longevity though. Bottom line - This is worth it if you are looking for an OW alternative and if you like a stronger/dirtier oud note. If you like this, then this is a solid alternative with a better price point for sure.

Zaurac is inspired by a story: that of a king who is on the verge of death waiting for his son, who unfortunately, on the way to his beloved parent, gets imprisoned. The king, although delirious due to his illness, perhaps due to what is the strongest bond that exists, that is, the one with his own children, dreams of his prisoner son, regains his senses for a moment, and then warns the royal guard to look for him. Zaurac wants to represent the dream of this king: it is a dark, dark fragrance, characterized by an Oud accompanied by spices that give it a sacred, foggy aspect, just like finding yourself having a vision. Spirit of Kings is a great concept. They decided to use a great perfumer to make clones of popular fragrances but with quality ingredients rather than mediocre oils as most of the clones. I love the concept. This one means “boat” in Arabic Why they chose that I have no clue. There is nothing about boating or beaches here. This is 95% oud wood with quality ingredients. Is it better than TF oud wood? No. The longevity is a little improved not much. Projection is a little better than OW. If you have TF oud wood you do not need this. But if you do not get this: it’s cheaper and better. It is very high quality; top quality actually.

~80% Oud Wood >vibe< with better performance. I got it for ridiculous price (half of retail price) total and I'm satisfied. Not a big fan of this DNA, but I can use it for a fraction of Oud Wood's price, which makes it worth for me, however I'm not sure if I will keep the bottle. If you want Oud Wood clone, you can even blindbuy. Reminds me also of Agar from Alexandria Fragrances, however Agar is more synthetic (medicinal) and sweeter. The only thing I don't like is tacky bottle, but whatever. //Edit: january '23: Got rid of it and will not be missing it!

This fragrance is very rich and easy to wear. I consider it very versatile for all occasions. Cardamom, Oud and tonka beans make it extremely rich. I love it. If I must say that it looks a lot like TF Oud Wood, I have them both but I enjoy wearing Zaurac more. The only thing that does not make it perfect is its poor duration on my skin, it does not exceed 6 hours even sometimes it stays in 5 hours but I enjoy it a lot.I would give this fragrance a 7/10 overall

This is pretty awesome so similar to oud wood just a bit sweeter not In a bad way at all it last longer performance better overall this is a must have
