Eve

Eve St. Clair Scents (2ml. vial, first impression) I am in the mood of solitude and grounding. Life is a bit hard when you are not really stable. I normally use fragrance to anchor or unwind, lost in my personal fantasy world. Eve, is one of it that I kept in unique place. Most of my fragrance have strong characteristics, either Jasmine, Wood or Rose dominated. I don't really have one with strong Orris tone. In the mood of something solitude. I decided to open my little pandora box, and stay with Eve today. In my interpretation, I think Eve represent woman as pure innocent from. A little charm, A little naive, A little messy and very woman, fun and bright. Yet know herself very well. How big fat Murky Iris with that soft gentle Animalic Tone. Keep it going, not really fancy dipping to floral charm or incense mystic any how. Just a pure fun and bright fruity tone of Eve. Yeap, I think it might be time to deep drive into St.Clair.

An incredibly unique orris scent, one that I personally took a few tries before I figured out, and one that I would happily recommend. It's equal parts orris yumness, messy animalic-resin and fruity deliciousness. Personally, I don't think it works for me, but I can seriously appreciate the weirdness and creativity in this. If anything, I feel this entire scent landscape is just too dense -- it could benefit from being diluted a little, maybe another 10% as it has taken me a few attempts to fully work it out. I'm glad to have sampled this and I just wish it worked better for me...

Aptly named, with enormous seductive apple trees growing out of a single drop. Comes on strong and skanky at first, dirty jasmine that cleans up with roses as it settles down and turns to orchard blossoms. Then the whole tree fills the room, woody trunks, green leaves, and fruit. After a few hours, powder coats everything in personal space, for the whole day, with smudges of sweet char on the cuffs until laundry day. The 35% concentration is way too indolic for me–I feel naked wearing it (which might be the point.) An eau de toilette would be less overwhelming.
