Be Exceptional Gold

Fantastic fragrance that sadly got discontinued. Great unique smell, great performance, great projection, very versatile. A better, cheaper version than PR's One Million. Such a waste that it's no longer available.

A very sweet, fancy fragrance. Long-lasting, but not as long-lasting as the silver edition. Slightly more mature scent than the silver edition. Perfect for a night time. Good for dates, dinners and so on, on the middle between casual and formal wear. However, I do believe there are better options for a very formal setting. It does smell like a more expensive fragrance for sure, however it's a very exceptional fragrance (says it even in the name), so bear in mind it might not be everyone's favorite. There's just some fragrances that everybody likes and you know you'll never go wrong, so you'd rather pick them and be safe. And then, there are other fragrances that a small group of people might be fascinated, while others not so impressed. This is one of those fragrances that can easily become your signature scent, if you like it, be unapologetic about it. Overall, good. 7/10 However, I do prefer the silver edition.

it's a solid like. I don't even have complaints, I just like the original more. it smells very good and performs well enough, though I wish it was just a tiny bit louder. not everyone will agree of course, but in general, I think these "gold" seductive scents you shouldn't keep mostly for yourself. they aren't really challenging to wear neither they are your typical work scents. they need to be unleashed upon others as their whole point is to make you more... obvious. I'm not saying it doesn't project, but the original who I see as a more professional and more serious scent performs better than a "seductive" flanker which is also an EDP. I'll also add that there were four other people in the room when I tried both scents - all of them disagreed with me and said this one smells better than the silver one. it actually means I was right about the scent profile. good buy.

Blind buys I have enough. Some good, plenty of bad. I'm now in for something new: BLIND AND DEAF buy. New term in the community? Since I bought the original and liked it a lot, I have been waiting for a review on the Gold edition but there is none. So I guess I will be the first one. Edit I wore it a couple of times. Not impressed. It is a mish mash of notes to me. A bit sweet but soft not loud. It is mainly a skin scent which will last around 8 hours but close to skin. The original Be Exceptional is far better. After 3-4 hours the Iris bursts like a bomb. Out of nowhere apparently. And it lasts on me until the next morning (12h)

fresh spicy notes very prevalent. lil basic. idk, I personally think, with a little research, you can get something better performing and smelling for a something of the same or smaller price. I definitely get why people think this smells like any one of the fragrances in the Dior Savage line. literally go into any local clothing shopping chains and grab the cheapest winter scent and it might be better and cheaper. wouldn't recommend imo

Tested this on paper recently, to me smelled A LOT like Dior Sauvage... I got the same type of freshness as in Sauvage, peppery ambroxan, with a bit sweeter lavender freshness in the drydown, not much juicy bergamot. 90% Sauvage?
