Oud & Rose

Very sexy unisex Scent . A bit similar to CD oud isphahan except the oud here is more delicate without the dirtiness and barny animatic touch you find in Oud isphahan. For me gives an easy 12-14 hours. The scent trace stays on my sheets for the next day. Very beasty both longevity and Sillage. It is though something different from what’s out in the designer fragrances in the market. It’s more on the niche side. Get a sample before buying a full bottle or at least try the Oud isphahan which is 85% similar. *********** Don't spray more than 4 sprays if you want to live ! *********** Update: The Oud Isphahan is more deep and rich thanks to the barny Oud note, while the Dupont variant is more of a Sillage beast with dominant musk/Rose note at the end. They both have similar opening as most of Oud&Rose combo , but the Dior have the oud note to the last minute while the dupont ends with musk and rose.

A classic rose & oud combo. This is a good intro for those starting to explore ouds. It starts with candied lemon rose – fresh (for oud fragrance standard) and then the oud and woody notes (slightly powdery sandalwood) appears from the background getting more prominent. Rose is always there all along... warm & rounded. Despite the rose, I do think this is unisex fragrance. I enjoy it for its simplicity. Spray with caution if you don’t enjoy attention. For silage bombs I direct my spray in to the air and walk thru the fragrance mist. This trick makes things softer instantly without changing the fragrance’s personality.

This perfume is bomb!!! I love oud, rose and woody scents all together and fell in love with this one as well! The longevity on this one is spectacular (on me at least) this lasts for more than 12h and even after showering I can feel the perfume. Perfection for me and if you also love oud and rose will not be disappointed :) so it would be a safe blind buy! The woodsy notes are pretty much neutral and you can mainly smell the oud and rose 😍 perfection! P.S.: if you are into Indian scents, as those you can smell in Indian shops, then this is also a safe blind buy. :)

spring nights, laying down on green fields of taïf roses, right outside the aforementioned barnyard, sandalwood is as prominent as oud here, careful, the opening is a full blown blast of rose with its green petals, 2 hours later, this scent is almost spiritual note-breakdown ⬇️ Top Notes: Lemongrass, Rose Heart Notes: Rose absolute, Saffron, Geranium Base Notes: Oud, Sandalwood, Patchouli

This fragrances is EXACTLY like Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. I was stunned as I just traded for Noir de Noir and when I tried it I immediately thought of Oud & Rose...immediately. Noir de Noir is slightly cleaner but completely similar. Save yourself a few bucks and go with Oud & Rose.

Beautiful scent, truly gives the impression of Arabian Nights hero. Used few sprays and almost everyone around asked me what I'm wearing. After 6 hours outing, went home, took a shower and went to bed on which skin scent was absolutely shocking! Pure love.

This is phenomenal! You can do a blind buy. Smells super expensive and even more refined than CD Oud Ispahan. Performance not as good as ispahan but will give you a solid 8 hours of good projection. Marvelous

Its Nice Oudy Rose Unisex Fragrance from S.T. Dupont House .... Good Work

Heavy. Heavy. Heavy. Dark rose opening with a creamy oud drydown.

A barnyard-y oud & rose combo. A typical Middle Eastern oud/rose scent. Bitter with a barnyard-like stinkiness to it that is commonly found with these kind of fragrances & actually suits it here. A very mature scent, suiting ideally +45yrs. Suitable for the really cold days more. The performance is intense! Really strong projection with this one & excellent longevity. This is the kind of fragrance that lasts for days on your clothes if not a whole week. "Like" & pass.

I get a, Bandaid smelling oud that sticks to close to clothing, with a Musk Stick smelling Rose that elevates. An hour in, and it smooths out nicely. Perfect longevity and projection, it'll go hard the whole night. Nothing complex but, is worth the price. Leans feminine.

Second edit on this review-- I've been wearing this a lot lately, and it has become a favorite. The similarity to Dior Leather Oud is definitely there-- it has that sort of pissy animalic note with the oud. But there's a narcotic, rosy, heavy and intoxicating floral that makes it special. This is something a priestess or fortune teller would wear. It is neither light nor fresh-- Nazgul, but make it fashion. I had to edit this review, as my experience of this fragrance is changing over time. At first it confounded me slightly-- rose otto, bug spray, and eventually, a very sour pissy oud. I've tested this again over the last few days and it's a very complex fragrance that I am beginning to understand. I still get the rose otto but I'm beginning to notice some subtle fruit underneath-- apricot or something a little sweet. The oud is there, and once I noticed it, it's quite apparent. It is definitely similar to the oud used in some of the Christian Dior fragrances, like Leather Oud. It is very animalic, skanky, and raunchy. This is an old school floral perfume. You could describe this as "old lady" and you wouldn't be wrong-- though such fragrances did not normally include oud. It's definitely mature, and quite strong and heavy-- but this to me can come off as a comforting veil of narcotic perfume, somniferous and intoxicating. It's not for everyone, and I don't really think anyone under the age of 50 would want to be caught dead wearing it. But sometimes, these types of fragrances have their place.

These notes are missing on Fragrantica : Top notes : lime essence, rose petals accord. Middle notes : Turkish rose absolute, geranium essence, saffron. Base notes : oud, sandalwood, patchouli essence. The particularity of this oud-rose fragrance is that it has lime and geranium notes that give some freshness and a little bitterness. It's interesting but strange at the same time and can be unpleasant to some noses, especially the geranium that is very persistent. The rose is nice, the oud is not too strong. To me, the sandalwood and the saffron are non-existent. Good sillage and good longevity.

It's written on the bottle: rose, with subtle oud in the background. Don't expect to be stunned, nor to find anything unique compared to the other 1,000 rose/oud frags out there. Still, if one doesn't own any yet of this scent profile, it might do the job, assuming you get it heavily discounted.

After hearing so many good reviwes about this scent, i blind bought it ...... OOOHHHHHH man ...... it arrived today and had to spray in tha back of one hand, and ...... Its just soooo strong, it exales a mist of Oud and Woody notes, cant feel the rose anywhere. It almost made me puke, and after 30 min i had to wash my hands twice, so i could feel better. Its a firts for me, never have i gotten such a negative reaction towards a scent. DONT Blind by it !!!! Get a decant first.

It's smell horrible... I wanted to chop off my hand. I have few bottles of s.t dupont ( royal Amber, pure bloom, perfect tobacco) and they all are amazing... I don't know how dupont made this one.

Disgusting barnyard oud. Indescribable bad. I do appreciate oud, but this is just bad. 1/10

I never into the St Dupont perfume line. but I'm crazy about this line. The golden bottle attracts me when I was testing other brands. It represents the vibe delivered from the very 1st spray. I love the simple and sexy blend this perfume brings whenever I use it. the oud is made in a perfect amount and softened with a splash of rose oil. this perfume last appx. 6hours in our body in AC room and rainy day. Since oud is an extravagant and serious scent, this is a special occasion scent only. This perfume is unisex so USD80/IDR1,1 per bottle is a great price. if you want to have a scent of Bond No.9 Dubai or Atkinsons oud line or LV ombre nomade without making your wallet in pain, this bottle is your answer.

Spray very lightly with this one! It is a very heavy oud scent. Allright, I have the flu at the moment so the headache makes me extra sensitive for heavy perfume, but the bottle came through the post, and I had to try a little bit. It is amazing though, sophisticated, classy oud with a hint of rose. The bottle is very beautiful too, the iconic "D" from the dupont logo is used to make a repetitive pattern that seems to be etched in the glass. Very classy too. Looking forward to test the Royal Amber from the same line...
