Pure Bloom

I bought this because I have Fendi L'axquarossa Elixir, which I love, but which is also a weak and fleeting fragrance. Reviews for this said it was very similar with better performance. I have to agree at this point. I tried it for the first time this morning, and at about six hours later it is still very present and noticeable. I also have Royal Amber from the S.T. Dupont Collection, and find it to be quite good quality. These are quite high quality for the price. I LOVE this. One reviewer noted a cherry cola or Dr. Pepper vibe, and I will agree, but on me the woodiness keeps the gourmand aspect of this from getting out of hand. I find wood in florals quite grounding and stabilizing, and this is no exception. I don't experience much in the way of Patchouli in this, which is good. Too much might make this bitter, and push it too far into the masculine category. As is, it does have a slight M-7 vibe at times, although I don't find it as heavy as M-7. It's not listed, but I also experience something very like rose that competes with the wood in the opening and for a short time thereafter, until the cherry really takes over and sings. I cannot agree enough with everything said about the dry-down as well. Really spectacular - soft, comforting, and sensuous cream and soft wood, with a ghost of cherry still present. A winner - 9 for scent, and great longevity, projection and sillage.

A great fragrance at a bargain price, if you still can get it – the quality of this perfume is amazing – this is a slightly gourmand floral fragrance, has a almost a niche feeling – ideal to wear in fall and winter – longevity is superior and silage as well – in the perfume world almost no one is talking about this – it leans more to the feminine site – so I like it more on my wife than on myself – there are certain brands like Dupont who make excellent fragrances and selling them at a fraction – but it’s waiting for a Jeremy Fragrance or Max Forti to review them before there will be real demand for these fragrances – once they will, the prices of the Collection S.T. Dupont Line will go up

Wow, what a wonderful fragrance. I have just tried 2 offerings from s.t. dupont exclusive line, this and Perfect Tobacco (its not in Fragrantica's database for some reason), and both of them don't disappoint me. Very wonderful juice. Pure bloom is a cherry and tuberose bomb, feminine leaning, but it's still on unisex territory. The cherry is smooth and scrumptious with a sweet tuberose. This duet sings beautifully throughout the performance, with cashmere appears on the dry down. A beast of a fragrance, with more than 10 hours longevity. Such splendor, such grace and poise. It's a total love.

This is a glorious niche-quality gourmand perfume. It opens up fuzzy, almost like a cherry coca cola, the tuberose starts to bloom and it complements the cherry fuzziness so well, the drydown has this vanillic quality to it, mixed with warm cashmere. At first I found it too feminine due to the excessive white florals, but the drydown is incredibly unisex, now I feel very comfortable wearing it.

powdery dreamy vannila like feel from orange blossom. the cherry n tuberose are beautiful.the dry down i a lot like other similar Dupont , eg vanilla n leather. very long lasting. high class. 9/10
