A beautiful new discovery in my olfactive journey.😊🤲🏽🎁 The St. Giles collection has been created by Michael Donovan to stimulate and amplify the many different aspects of our character. The nose behind this collection is one of my favorite, the Master Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour.🙌🏽 The collection features five fragrances: 💫The Writer - the scent of inspiration, with fresh ginger, rosemary absolute and a note of castoreum.💚 💫The Tycoon - the scent of success with pomelo, spiced woody cypriol and a chypre base.💖 💫The Stylist - dressed to impress with coordinated separates of rum and mango trimmed with vanilla cream.🧡 💫The Mechanic celebrates the physical with patchouli, leather and hot rubber.💙 💫The Actress - make an entrance with oriental lily, orchids and vanilla custard.💗 The stylist Opens with a blend of bitter citruses, then a fruity note of a yummy mango extends to an exotic accord of tamarind. 🥭🥭🥭 The base is a beautiful blending of woody cedar and smoky tobacco which gives a timeless and masculine vibe to this beautiful composition. It is a suave fragrance, discreet at first glance but as soon as you enter the sphere of the wearer you will quickly fall under its spell.😊 Overall a lovely scent!😊👃🏽👌🏽

Man, St Giles are the biz! I blind bought The Writer, The Tycoon (my fave) and The Stylist. None disappointed. They all have in what is my experience a unique consistency - they all have the ability to smash it out all day yet not necessarily have a super huge balloon. In this respect The Stylist lasts all day but is the weaker. This by no means indicates it’s poor - it would say be very noticeable in a car for example but other wise doesn’t necessarily hit those around you like a wet halibut slap to the face. So, amazing quality, slightly unique - for me the predominant almost start to finish is of rum tinged with mango (could almost be cinnamon, in fact this is a more complicated version of Comptoir Sud Pacifique Rhum et Tabac). The woods and tobacco are used seamlessly to body out the smell so really don’t stand out individually per se. Awesome scent, great price - may have to spray a bit extra with this but it is a big bottle.

The stylist, it’s a bright fresh and cooling opening, as it develops it gets sweeter, almost like the fruit is ripening, and it has a tropical feel to it. I’m picturing a beachfront, drinking boozy fruity cocktails, feeling the sand between my toes and the warm evening sun on my skin. A warm woodiness in the base is adding to this imaginary, sun-baked decking on the beach perhaps. That tobacco comes out after a while, smooth and dry. It’s all very delicious and inviting, is making me want that holiday!

Very nice fragrance! Opens up with a blast of mango that's dipped in rum and that stays like that for a long time but after ten mins there is milky part of it that makes it smell like the most delicious mango and chocolate shake if that makes sense. Vanilla is another note that i get a lot after the initial spray dries down. It gets quite woody after that. Smells like dense dry woods, with slight smokiness in the background. It definitely forces you to keep smelling your arm again and again.

Oh wow, what can I say about this perfume? Well 1 thing I can say is ifts fabulous.. reminds me of being in the tropics sitting on the beach on a warm evening drinking a rum punch this smells very boozy and the rum mixed with the under tone of mango goes together so so well, sprayed it on in the purfumes shop near my work and 3+ hours later could still smell it.. the dry down is so balanced and has great projection, Will definitely be purchasing this very soon

I am writing this review after 1 week of use. Sweet smelling which lasts for entire day. Longetivity is amazing, you can smell it for more than 10 hours on skin and even longer on clothes! This doesn't smell like ur everyday scent, very masculine and sweet after it dries completely. If you really want something different and unique you want this.

Mango and tobacco to me aren’t notes that you would suggest go together, however this works amazingly! The blend between the notes make this a sweet creamy & boozy masterpiece. The high quality ingredients create such an elegant scent that fits perfectly for a date night. A exotic unisex fragrance that you will instantly love at first sniff!

This is a very unique fragrance, always asked what I’m wearing. It’s your ticket to a tropical island! I recommend this fragrance for anyone who has a bit of a sweet tooth.

The Stylist smells very nice, fruity.. not sharp. I'm not sure what else there is to say about this but it is gorgeous!

I purchased the discovery sample set of all 5 St. Giles fragrances - given these are small vials with not the greatest atomizers, no comment will be made on performance, sillage, projection or longetivity. The Stylist The most unisex smelling of the bunch. Truly doesn't seem like any gender can be attached to this one. Up top I get a slightly fruity fizzle that quickly gets replaced in seconds by what this scent remains as for the rest of its life on skin: an airy, milky woodiness with some soft spice in the background (perhaps the tamarind). I don't specifically pick up the mango, tobacco and frankincense notes - the remaining notes all seem to be blended together to give one accord. When I first saw the notes, I thought this would be too sickly sweet and thick - surprisingly, it's NOT. It's very airy, soft and smooth enough to be worn all year long. If you're in the UK, the price over there is more reasonable but here in Canada, it's quite expensive to get a bottle here after currency conversion. I think these St. Giles scents offer niche smells done in a way that's still wearable so they're not too challenging but definitely not mainstream designer either. Main highlight for me = the creamy, lactonic and soft character of the woods in this fragrance I rank this #2 out of 4 ("The Actress" is excluded since it's the only one explicitly geared to women) YT channel - The Scentrovert

Opens up with an aldehydic mango with a vanilla-coconut bias, then transitions to a palo santo facet with a sweet, vanillic whipped cream accord. There's probably a subtle tobacco here if anything, but since I recieved this in a discovery kit, it's not expected I will like it. Unsurprisingly, this is a bit too sweet for my taste, but I will say it's something I would have expected from Baccarat Rouge 540. On a top level, it does sort of resemble a stylist, but in a sweet way. Excellent artistic vision, but regardless, not my forte.

Not my favourite, unfortunately. It lacks originality; it's a smelled before, like a lot! I don't get all the notes; I feel like St Giles does this by purpose(whipped cream...where is it?! Caoutchouc and caramel in The Mechanic...nah, there's none!) the dry down smells woody + tobacco; not very natural smelling, I think there's 'cashmere wood' here too. This is a huge let down for me personally as I REALLY like The Mechanic, followed by The Writer. The Tycoon is Good but I can live without it. Still have to smell The Actress!

Mediocre creation by Duchaufour. Fruity, slightly creamy opening, which then becomes sweeter as time goes by. There's a bit of spice as well. It's not bad, but the sweet fruit accord ruins it for me. It can smell juvenile at times and after some time there's also a boozy quality noticeable which really doensn't do much for the overall composition. The base is run of the mill; dusty vanillic fruity sweetness on top some faint woods. It's probably the least interesting scent of the bunch. Performance is decent for the first hour as it does leave a nice scent bubble. Overall though it's a pass for me. 5/10

This perfume is stunning! Remember smelling it at Selfridges and knew I had to have it. Projection and longetivity is great. Rum, mango and vanilla are all prominent here.

Stylist by St.Giles is a great scent, always receive comments and asked what it is I'm wearing. Other people love it as much as I do.
