I originally bought this cologne as a companion to the same line of St. James of London's shave products (which are fantastic, by the way). The scent is an addictive combination of sweet and tobacco, with good projection and longevity on clothing - skin scent will, obviously, vary. Layered with their aforementioned shave products, this is a very classy and clean spa treatment that will leave you feeling like a proper English gentleman, in a proper English private club: tobacco, fine spirits, sweet leather, and class, old boy.

Just got this, so early review. I really like the scent. You get what's described in the notes. The raspberry really stands out. Smells slightly old school, but not out of place with today's scents, if that makes sense. It did have a bit of projection, and I could still smell it on my skin the next morning, so probably don't need to spray too much. Well worth the regular price.

Very simple but very pleasant and long lasting, alcohol-free scent. A bit sweet and still old schoolish; I purchased this from the direction of wet-shaving enthusiasm, and was pleasantly surprised, especially given the price.
