it reminds me of a summer version of armani code for women.... I really like it very feminine and suited for the summer. it s not expensive, and in a way its a original im going to buy this one for sure. And also im a huge Star Wars fan, hope they will make a Leah and Ray version and even a BB8, who knows.....

This is pretty much vanilla and nothing else, but a nice vanilla at that.Very gourmand and unpretensious. Nothing original, but well made. For this price i would surely recommend for any vanilla lovers out there.

It's not the most original scent out there, but it works really well. For the price, it's a great deal. Reminds me of La Vie Est Belle, but a slightly creamier version. Lasts for days on clothing.

Fragrance Review For Amidala Star Wars Notes Patchouli Musk Vanilla Apple Tangerine Amidala from Star Wars The Phantom Menace, in her out-of-this world wardrobe, headdresses and make-up. Yes Natalie Portman when she was all of 17 years old and acquiring fame and celebrity in the big movie that launched her career thanks to George Lucas. This is a fun perfume but it's innocent, and frankly not very interesting or complex. It smells like a standard fruit and vanilla scent. It is missing floral notes which I thought was odd but I think they did this on purpose. Without a single floral note, the fragrance can be worn as a unisex skin freshner for both sexes. The opening of Amidala is a tangerine and citrus scent, a bit fresh and cool, and my favorite part of the scent. This is a delicious tangerine. Then I could detect a vanilla. It's linear and has no top middle and base note structure. The whole thing develops quickly and it turns into a patchouli-musk-masculine cologne toward the dry down. So if you're a gal who doesn't mind the musk, and the patchouli, this is wearable as a wannabe Oriental. The tangerine is really nice and it's too bad it doesn't last too long. There's a vanilla with a huge projection that gives me goosebumps. I love it. The bottle and the design/packaging is very cool and straight out of a prop from the Star Wars movies. I was a big fan of Amidala-Padme from Phantom Menace and even though Natalie Portman has won an Oscar and moved on to bigger and better things, I always think of her as Amidala, the 14 year old elected Queen of Naboo. This is a perfume for her coronation day. Simple, sweet, patchouli, musk, vanilla and citrus, scents of a planet far far away.

Why is this described as chypre when it contains none of the classic notes of chypre. Come on now, try harder.
