L'Ame Slave

I really like this one! It's very animalic to my nose, though I dont see the any notes like that. Must be the tea! I dont find this one as creative or unique as some of the other offerings, but if someone gifted me a full bottle, I would wear it to death. But wait! Act 2... L'Ame Slave is surprising. I like this one's opening very much. It wasn't out there or original or outstanding, but I like it very much. I just sniffed my wrist again...totally different scent. Much more subtle. It comes on strong, and fades to a gorgeous whisper. Definitely more of a skin scent. Now I definitely find it full bottle worthy.

This is exceptional work!!! On behalf of all Slavic people I want to thank State of Mind for perfectly feeling our soul and converting it into the fragrance. This is not just a combination of oils this is a multidimensional perfume, the union of all dear scents reminding me of childhood, love, and home

Freshly cut tree with ginger and honey! Semi-sweet, slightly spicy woody scent:)

Testing this blind it opens up with as a bright and sharp aromatic. It then calms a bit, then I get a warmer and tonka bean like background, with enough warmth and maybe white florals becoming dominant but remaining leaning masculine. Looking at the notes, the bergamot, lemon, ginger, cedar, and birch all are apparent, with lilac floating throughout as the main character. The honey, tea, and vanilla less noticeable but I guess playing their part. It has some interesting facets, remaining both floral and light, with a more spicy (ginger) and woodsy base, but I didn't really notice it after a few hours, and turns a little too light, powdery, and floral later in the day. This makes me just slightly more indifferent than dislike. So, while I like the first 15 minutes (brighter, more aromatic, hint of woods, with floral in the air) it's dry down leaves more to be desired.

Too much cedar and birch for my taste. I would classify this as a male fragrance. I don’t feel like Slavic soul with this one :)
