Voluptuous Seduction

Everything is perfect there! Floral charm with fruity notes reminds me of hot days in may full of beautiful scents around. This is very charming fragrance I gave to my sister’s birthday. She loved it!

I first tried this on last night. It was okay, very apple-y. I didn't think too much of it. When I woke this morning, I smelled something amazing... It was this. The drydown is GORGEOUS!!! WOW!!!

This is my favorite scent from State of Mind. The fragrance composed with the warmth of lilly, apple and tea. i can feel a delightful touch of rose, truffle and cedar. Perfect balance.

The first one I tried from the sample set and an instant love! Such a happy fruity rose scent! Goes straight on my wishlist.

this was a blind buy bcos i love karine dubreil-sereni’s work. i already own Natural Elegance and Creative Inspiration and love both. SOM perfumes are always so beautifully blended and of the highest quality ingredients. HOWEVER this one was disappointing. The apple is foremost, followed closely by the rose. both are so dominant I don’t get any of the other notes, and unfortunately apple is one of those scents that my brain automatically marks as cheap and common. like a bunch of reviews below have said, it smells like shampoo. there is nothing voluptuous or seductive about apple shampoo.

Roses and apples with some roibos. If you like Hermessence Rose ikebana, this has a similar vibe. Gorgeous and well-blended

I don't know about the fit of this name to the scent. Regardless, it is a lovely feminine smell. With spraying I am immediately hit with pleasant fresh fruity apple and then as it dries down, a soft rose soap scent like you've just washed your hands at grandma's(not old smelling but rather nostalgic & dreamy) and I can sort of feel the wood very distantly and they are all brought together in a fine, delicate manner. The rose is most prominent in final dry down. I have a few other samples from this brand and I think this paired with a more woodsy cool scent Open Mind gives it a nice edge. On final edit - once again I realize I am bothered by rose notes. Shame on the dry down. First hour was promising.

It’s very pleasant, easy and does not smell cheap. That said a trashy version of this is easily found amongst Zara’s. So for me, if you want a very fresh, fruity rose that is inoffensive and very nicely done, this is it. Nothing remarkable but perfectly nice.

Testing this blind it opens up with a very feminine, light, and just slightly sweet and wet floral flirt, with a hint of rose in the background. As it dries down it becomes a bit more powdery and dry, and moreso a dry and faded hint of itself throughout most of the day as an intimate skin scent, which while pleasant in its own right is not the same as the opening; a freshness and floral young beauty. Definitely one to test as it's intimate skin scent is what you're going to end up with. Looking at the notes, the apple and teas give the floral freshness, but are not the main players in my experience, especially after an hour or two. It's really the florals that linger throughout the day. It's pretty, feminine, and a little young, but maturely young minded. What it isn't is "voluptuous" or "seductive". This being one of the last in the discovery set I'm going through, I would recommend a different house for something fitting that description.

Beautiful sweet opening but it dried down to a toilet cleanser after half an hour or so.
