Stella Summer Rose

I had the opportunity to sample this when it was first released and loved how it smelled so I bought it. I have kept it for a while now and forget to wear it. I discover more to love about it every time I put it on. Such a pretty soft fresh and girly scent not unlike Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, but actually much better because the projection is greater and the longevity is greater! The opening is fresh fruit scents of lemon orange citrus notes and a green apple. Fruity, a bit like a shampoo by Garnier Fructis but I don't mind that. The fresh fruitiness is very delicious and that green apple introduces the floral notes because apples are in the rose family. The apple and citrus begins to transform into roses. It's pink and red roses in a little bouquet. So pretty. For the most part this is a rose but because of that fruit opening it's summery and easier to wear than most grown up roses. It never turns to powder or sachet, it's not a candy rose nor green/realistic rose. It's a light sweet soft rose which though artificial is very pleasant to the nose. This is my kind of rose perfume. The amber at the dry down is really nice, not overpowering, soapy and clean. The whole thing turns into a really luxurious rose scented soap. The perfume lasts a long time and it can be worn with a cute summer dress to parties in either the day time or night time. Smells vintage and feminine. Love it.

This smells exactly like l'Eau de Chloe on the dry down. It is a bit spicy at first, but that leaves quickly and a wet, papery muted rose takes it's place. I was looking forward to both of these scents, and was disappointed in them. I love muted scents as long as they are saying something, and are leave a pretty,wafting scent as I pass by... This is not that scent, and is best phased out when summer is over, IMO.

Smelled this one today. Very nice for a summer scent. It does kinda smell like L'eau Chloe but I like this one a lot more. My aunt loves the Stella brand so I'll definitely be getting her this one for her bday. Very nice fresh summer scent.

wow, this is one of the best rose scents I have smelled. It is no artificial or synthetic like some tend to smell. Only thing is that it is weak and lasting power is not so great but I don't mind reapplying, ITs amazing! So soft
