Short Version: This reminds me instantly of vacation. It's really refreshing, versatile, and mass appealing with really good performance. It's a 9/10 for me. Only gripes are that I wish it projected just a tad bit more, and it being around $200 for 50ml. Other than that it's incredible. Long Version: I debated getting this last summer, but decided to go with erba gold for a similar tropical feel for a better price per ml. I really enjoy erba gold, and it's gotten me a lot of compliments when I've worn it out. So I thought God of Fire would be redundant to own in my collection already having erba gold, but I was wrong. God of Fire is surprisingly fresh, way fresher than I remembered. It kind of smells like you're at a beach bar and a gust of fresh air blows towards you as someone is chopping up fresh fruits, predominantly mango. Whereas Erba Gold is much thicker, sweet & creamy type of mango. There's a slight freshness but definitely can be too much on a hot summer day. I usually just stick to wearing it for nights out in the summer. I usually don't like the note of mango actually. Blockade, No. 4 Neon, and Mango Skin are a few I didn't like much. God of Fire's mango is more synthetic but in the best way possible. I feel like for me I prefer the smell of a mango smoothie than an actual real mango, and that's more what I get from this. The opening is incredible, and the dry down is really nice too. It's pretty 2 dimensional where you get that incredible zesty opening for 15-30 mins then it turns into a primarily woody scent with the fruitiness subdued. It's pretty consistent during its runtime. I get really good staying power with this too, in the 8-10 hour range and much longer on clothes. The projection is more of an arms length distance, it's not going to get you smelled from far away unless you really overspray.

God of fire opens up in a very tropical juicy way and after about 5-10mins settles down into something more calm once the oud kicks in, which is tame.. not animalic, barnyardy or otherwise stinky, it just adds a little depth to the composition. The main note to mention during this phase in this fragrance is indeed the mango but don't think of this as a very sweet mango (kinda like how Cruz Del Sur II is a very sweet and smooth mango) its a bit more sour once the opening fades. Then this fragrance totally transitions again after an hour or two to something along the lines of Instant Crush (like that powdery touch)... yeah this fragrance goes on a rollercoaster ride unlike anything I've known... since Mortal Skin perhaps but I would argue this one transitions even more than that. Wow this fragrance and its stages blow my mind, each are very nice. I should also probably mention its hard to detect any tropical vibes in this stage. My review confusing? this fragrance is but in a good way.. very interesting. Give it a try, but over some hours in order to fully appreciate it. Edit: Now since I own a full bottle I can honestly say this takes my breath away, I've been trying out fragrances 3x or 4x the price of this fragrance lately and they haven't impressed me as much as this one has. The sweetness lingers, but it's not cloying. Everything about this scent says fresh — fruity fresh, spicy fresh, tropical fresh, and just enough sweetness to tie it all together. The oud here is surprisingly mellow — woody and slightly sweet, adding depth without ever becoming animalic or overpowering. It stands out, in a non-intrusive way. As the scent develops, the dry down becomes noticeably woodier and a little more syrupy on my skin, especially in warmer weather. This isn’t an airy, feather-light fragrance, but it’s not thick or heavy either. There’s a certain density to it — especially from the mango — but it feels smooth and effortless, like something you could cut through with ease. Overall, this smells like an expensive tropical escape in a bottle — luxurious, exotic.

THE OPENING, OMG! Please, sink your nose into your arm or wherever you sprayed this right as you put it on, and you won't regret it. Red fruits, acid lemon, bright and energizing ginger, with this sweet mango lending it probably one of the best openings I've ever smelled. Super intoxicating. Mind Games Counterplay can probably have an inspiration on this, but that's a much more "fruit basket" fragrance than GOF is, and much more feminine tbh. The dry down and development were good/okay, but this damn opening is absurd! I do think it's a very happy fragrance and one I'd only reach out to during warmer months, during the day and not even a whole lot during the evening. PERFECT for summer, and I do find it a bit more masculine, though unisex. Price point it okay-overpriced. Thinking it could be out for around $150-180 like higher priced Lorenzo Pazzaglia fragrances. This is the only SHL I've tried so far but I can see why this is the big hype beast title it received. Lovely stuff and wouldn't doubt a dupe cold deliver similarity, while the notes have great definition here. Not redundant with fragrances like Ambassador, Blockade, and Limonata (this probably being the one I'd say would be closest to).

#38 on my Fragrance Review Journey I got GOF for a heavily discounted price that I could not pass up. I love to blind buy, and I have been watching this fragrance for many months. Before anything else, I have to say that you cannot take all reviews (including mine) and ratings as gospel. I came into this thinking it could be potentially too sweet, loud, synthetic (maybe) and too youthful. What I found was a mango scent that was nuanced. IMO, it is not loud nor too sweet. I smell perfectly executed mango, ginger, red berries, and oud. I believe the oud gives it a layer of sophistication that I enjoy. It is perfectly unisex, a compliment getter, and last a full workday (on my skin and longer on clothes). If you are careful with number of sprays, it is a versatile scent that can be worn in many scenarios. You know your surroundings better than anyone. I have worn this to work with zero issues... only compliments. I have seen this at discounters for $150 at times. You can get decants of this for under $20. I think it is worth it to get your nose on it. Solid purchase for me 9/10.

I first came across this heavenly warm weather fragrance when I received a decant of it last summer. It was so incredibly beautiful and tropical that this was the first niche fragrance I ever bought. The mango is wonderful, and I never noticed the woody dry down until I spent some time with it. And let me just say, the longevity is incredible. Today at work, I decided I was going to wear Bad Boy Cobalt Electrique, but I was thinking about God of Fire. So, I sprayed GoF on my right wrist just to see if I was vibing with the smell and if it should be my scent of the day. I absolutely was vibing with the smell and almost wore it, but I decided to stick with my initial Bad Boy decision. I had one spray of GoF on my wrist, and Bad Boy all over my neck, shirt, and arms- and what did I smell all day? The God of Fire. One spray of GoF outperformed the multiple sprays of Bad Boy (and I'm not dissing Bad Boy because I love it), so that just tells you how great GoF performs. It's a Mango Beast.

As a man, I find it very easy to wear, though it feels genuinely unisex. It does not lean too far in any direction, which makes it feel more like an expression than a category. I have a collection that includes various Creeds and Parfums de Marly, so I have tried plenty in this space, but this is the one I reach for the most. It is my personal favourite to wear. I have had plenty of compliments with it. People notice it straight away. It is expensive, but in my situation it feels worth every penny. The quality and the way it makes me feel justify it. To me, it feels like a piece of art rather than just a fragrance.

The ginger is actually more noticeable than the mango to me, which keeps everything bright, fresh and full of energy. The red berries add just enough sweetness without taking over. As it settles the fragrance becomes a little deeper and smoother, but it never loses that fresh, sparkling feeling. The woody base gives it more character without making it feel heavy. I wouldn't call this a typical mango fragrance. If you're expecting a big, ripe mango throughout, you might be surprised. To me it's more about fresh ginger, citrus and tropical fruit working together, and that's exactly why I love it. It's vibrant, addictive and one of those scents I just can't stop smelling.🤩

Sweet creamy mango, like a Mango Gelati frozen dessert. Half Italian shaved ice and half frozen vanilla custard. Honestly an intoxicating, addicting scent.. I can’t stop smelling my hand where I sprayed to test it. It’s pretty loud and playful.. I could see this becoming a little cloying in enclosed spaces or on a hot day. I wouldn’t say it’s fresh.. despite being very fruity. It’s got a thickness that wouldn’t mix well on a hot day, in my opinion. It kind of reminds me of 1 Million Lucky, just replace the Plum and Grapefruit with Mango/Red berries. This does lean feminine to me, which is a bummer because it smells so damn good! I personally would not wear it, but if I was on a date with a female and this was her scent of the evening, I would be ecstatic!! Men could definitely rock this fragrance, it’s just not for me.

Holy cow this is good, and by good I mean amazing. This is mango done to perfection with very high quality ingredients and blending, and it is not linear at all. It’s not too loud or overly synthetic in any way which fragrances like this tend to be. It’s got some sweetness to it but is never cloying. It goes through phases from the opening through the drydown keeping it interesting and never tiresome to wear. The supporting notes are dialed in just right to make the mango shine and honestly it’s one of the best tropical smells I’ve ever experienced. Just a superbly crafted fragrance that deserves every bit of hype it gets. I’m even complimenting myself over here it’s that good. If you know you enjoy the scent of mango then I would consider this blind buy safe. Absolutely in love with God of Fire 🔥🥭😍

I don’t follow hype, so don’t care what’s popular and what isn’t. After testing this a year ago, this completely stuck in my head. When I first sampled this I thought it was a bit too much, too in your face, too strong, maybe even a bit too masculine leaning. I sampled Mango Kiss due to it supposedly being more feminine, but found it putrid in comparison with the chamomile note ruining the whole scent for me. Now a year on, I still crave the citrus/mango/ginger concoction of God of Fire! I tested it again today and decided I absolutely had to buy it! I LOVE this scent! I find intoxicating. To me it’s such a unique combination of refreshing and uplifting, yet sexy. Perfectly unisex. I don’t think any dupes can replace this one. I can’t wait for my full bottle to arrive.

A true-to-life take on an overripe mango with a soft musky undertone, it instantly transports me to mango season in my tropical home. I live in a tropical country and when mangoes are in season, this fragrance captures the essence of that smell and that moment for me. Juicy, vibrant, and beautifully done. Longevity? Fantastic! easily 8 to 10 hours. Projection? Strong at first, filling a room as you walk in, then settling into a more moderate presence. The mango note is distinct and attention-grabbing in the best way. If you love tropical scents, this is a must-try. At least sample it, you might just fall in love like I did!

I've had this scent on my wrist for 5 hours now and it still smells like heavenly mango! So delicious, so fresh, so fruity! It's so enjoyable to be working and getting that juicy aroma, it lifts my spirits up, invigorates me and makes me feel happy. I love the color of the bottle, it's adequate to the fresh fruity style of the scent. This is not a beast projector, but it projects enough to be enjoying it for several hours. I had sliced mango ataufo (the mexican mango) on a plate and kept comparing the scent to the perfume and it actually smells very realistic to mango. I just love this scent for spring and summer and it's not as pricey as other niche perfumes, so I'm gonna buy it, wth!

Well, this is the scent tat got me into fragrances. As a fruity lover, I just cant resist to this. I've heard from some people this is overpriced but I really thing it worths every cent. Great quality, great performance, great uniqueness and of course awesome presentation. I know people classify this as a mango scent, but I'd say the protagonists here are the ginger, lemon and red berries. Don't get me wrong, the mango is there, but I wont say is the main note. The message you transmit wearing this scent is that vibe of that charismatic guy who usually likes everyone. If you don't enjoy sweet fragrances this may not be for you. Otherwise, you'd love this since first sniff.

Very unique option. Sure, there are several mango fragrances, but there is something special about this one. Maybe the ginger in the opening or the oud in the dry down; regardless, it’s a really special fragrance. It’s not something I will reach for daily, but it just so uplifting on the days that I do. The mix of mango, ginger and other fruits is done to perfection. I do get quite a bit of jasmine, maybe it’s the jasmine that give it a subtle creaminess. I find the fragrance unisex and maybe the cedar and oud keep it from going to femme. Now that it’s finding discounters, it’s reasonably priced. Perfect for spring and summer and can be day or evening. Rating 8.5/10.

On my skin, God of Fire starts very fresh and lightly sweet. I get more mandarin than mango, with a little spicy ginger edge,, and something shampooi. After a few minutes, the citrus becomes rounder and I start to notice woods or amber The change is gradual and pretty linear — not a dramatic shift, just a slow blending of freshness, woodiness, and that shampoo-like brightness. Projection feels moderate; I mostly smell it when close to the skin, though it carries a little in the air. For me it has the personality of someone clean, sporty, approachable, with good taste but leaning towards simplicity. Light, friendly, and easy to be around.

Wow, wow, wow! This perfume is with a fully deserved hype! I had a completely wrong idea about it, I thought it would be some synthetic and cheeky party animal, but no! God of fire is very subtle, elegant and refined to perfection! It`s packaging is deceiving. You can smell a delicate and juicy mango, which is not sugary sweet, but as if it had just been taken out of the refrigerator, cold, and there are also woody-marine notes. In terms of nature, I would compare it to Millésime Creed and Eau Mega Viktor&Rolf - God of Fire plays on this stage. A great summer perfume, original, both cold and warm... wonderful!
