STÉPHANE HUMBERT LUCAS Harrods H Mamba 2015 La Collection Serpent Unisex, leaning masculine This masterfully blended perfume is the most unique one, “King” imo in this so called Snake Collection.🐍 It has a similar juxtaposition of notes as Soleil De Jeddah OG has, both totally different scents though. Those juices are as well maybe one of the most artistic ones from SHL’s perfumes, at least what I have tried so far. If I would describe this scent: I get the feeling of the burning sand in the heat of the dessert and this snake is there. H Mamba opens up with Osmanthus which brings soft and sensual leathery feeling together with hints of Apricot and all that supports the leather note in the woody base. The opening fades away but the scent doesn’t change so much since it has same nuances from the start which you can find from the dry down. H Mamba is a warm and somewhat dry resinous scent with earthy vibe and there is all the notes which monsieur Lucas does the best: Amber, Iris (OrrisI Root) and balsamic notes - in this case Styrax. There is Leather and Oud in the base notes but those are not that evident, they give the body and richness to this mesmerising blend. As I’m a lover of those two notes I would say that this is quite safe but as a whole composition this not safe anymore - it’s so special. It needs a certain kind of mood to wear it. You can definitely detect a Leather if you are not so used to it but Oud is really tamed and not animalic in any kind of way. Anyway this is really well blended and no single note is standing above the others. Longevity of this perfume is really good. I recommend to sample this first as I emphasise how unique this fragrance is but if you like SHL’s DNA and leather just go for it, your decision of course. The only reason for voting score down is wearability. This is very artistic and it's not so easy to wear. As you can see, this is not complex what comes to the notes but those has been ingeniously put together and the blend is brilliant. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Luxurious sand snake... I am a bit confused! i think i have sniffed "Mamba" before not "Lufu"! or maybe both! but i remember this particularly as i remember the name fits the blend well with that sand vibes i am getting while sniffing this blend. It's sweet but never cloying, it's sweet to the point that makes it perfectly balanced as a snake luring its prey. Styrax at max with amber touch, bits of oud, big chunks of osmanthus, then tiny bits of orris. The drydown is a crispy caramel. This blend is indeed animalic and very much mesmerizing. Charmingly beautiful.

A stunning woody leather scent. The perfume opens with osmanthus leading to a heart of amber and orris. The perfume settles quickly into a dense base of oud, leather and styrax resin. Bold, animalic, and unique this perfume is a study in contrasts. The unisex scent has very good sillage and projection and lasts a day on your skin. This mesmerizing leathery beauty deserves a wider sales audience than just one counter at Harrods. Enjoy!

Beautiful sweet amber opening. Dry down is still sweet, but the leather starts to peek out. The oud is almost nonexistent. As I take whiffs from my arm, the smell is almost dry and dusty, but it somehow works. This is a love for me. I would also say this fragrance is easily unisex.

Almost B*Men-esque. Jammy strawberry... oud/leather. Then with the more earthy smell similar to Bel Ami Vetiver / Antaeus a bit later. That initial opening was almost mouth watering and quite good. Then it becomes more avant-garde soon after. Prefer the opening, smells more unisex and jammy. Later on it's more... masculine and earth-y. Like a not as polarizing/daring Bat or Figment Man - somewhere in that realm; but still has that jammy aspect, but not quite as noticeable.

Harrods H Mamba from the French House of High Luxury Niche Perfumery Stephane Humbert Lucas 777 was created exclusively for the London luxury goods store Harrods; It is a Amber Leather Floral Unisex perfume. Harrods H Mamba was launched in 2017 and the perfumer who signs this fragrance is Stéphane Humbert Lucas. The perfume opens ambery and with an almost herbal green fruity sweetness of the osmanthus, immediately blending with a buttery orris giving a slight powdery suggestion in this composition. It goes towards balsamic resins and velvety leather intertwined with a camphor 'oud, warming the fragrance, bringing a slight smoky touch and reinforcing that initial herbaceous green side. By the way, the amber used here is surreal! H Mamba unfolds around the Amber and the Iris, both of very high quality, the protagonists of this composition. It is the power of Osmanthus and Amber counterbalancing the power of 'Oud and Leather; an exceptional Iris really differentiated of the highest quality and Resins complement the fragrance in high definition. 'Oud Amber Leather Floral Fragrance! Delicious refined warm perfume! Exceptional quality, I think the best SHL fragrance still in production and also with the best performance in the House. A delicious perfume. A poison of luxury.

Sinister scent. So mysterious, intriguing, animalistic.... Projection and sillage are excellent. Literally 1-2 sprays would be sufficient for you ( imo). The Oud is there, yet it’s not overwhelming. If you’re a fan of Leather and Orris combinations, do smell this.

Brilliant, non-standard concoction. Styrax and osmanthus, very mildly sweetened, sitting on a familiar base of amber, leather, oris and dry oud. Must be tried. Tight, harmonic blend. Turns balsamic as it wears, which is my one grip!
