Isra & Miraj

I should admit first off, that I am a huge fan of SHL's fragrances at least until some of the more recent releases. This scent as with many of his fragrances, has a wide range of notes that take us on a scent journey. It opens with a citrusy spicy blend that is refreshing and anything but challenging. The middle notes are a brief but pleasing foray into a couple of floral notes. By this point, it is clear this is a light scent best used in warm weather and more suited to daytime wear. The bass notes have more umph, but the animalic notes are not strong enough to match those who are familiar with the Oud bombs so popular these days. I feel happy when I wear it, but Lucas has many fragrances that are more worth purchasing instead of this one. I find it unisex, moderate silage and longevity. Fun in the sun.

I like it at first but as days goes by i'm loving it To my nose, subjective, of all the Fragrances i have sniffed (from the counters, friends etcetera) and owned this is definitely one of the best fragrances ever made Finally got the chance to compare it with Musc Ravaguer I like MR, yes its has the same vibe and quite similar but somehow this is more interesting, versatile and smoother therefore i chose the as a "Love" and Musc Ravageur as a "Like" not trying to be bias but Scent: 9.5-10/10 Longevity: 9/10 (14 hr on skin experimented without showering) Projection: low to medium Well done Stephane!

I do love this, because I love Musc Ravageur. I, myself, am partial to Musc Ravageur on this one though, with it's more pronounced spices and musc notes. Isra Miraj is beautiful..... and great at doing what MR did 20 years ago. they are too similar to own both, and I would not shell out the money for this over the original, the infamous, the oh-so-naughty Musc Ravageur. part of me wonders, with only a passing thought, if reformulationists and niche snobs tell themselves otherwise to justify the price. either way buy what you LOVE, and we'll both be smelling sexy af!

When Musc Rvageur was not today's cologne perhaps, they could be compared. I like this Isra e Miraj much more without a doubt. There is a similarity in the cinnamon opening but here the scent returns powerful after a few hours and is more rounded and deeper than MR, even the quality of the ingredients seems to me decidedly superior. I took the 100 ml because the bottle is beautiful and the perfume is worthy.

I wore this a few days ago and it is still on my mind. To me, Isra & Miraj is more friendly and approachable over Shalimar and Musc Ravageour. Isra & Miraj seems to have a tad more vanilla in its makeup which in turn gives it more depth over Musc R. I&M is perfect reach for days when you want something elevated, but yearn for comfort and warmth.

Smells nothing like 40 knots lol. And I would never say this is masculine or a "lesbian" scent whatever tf that is. I actually find it to be a little feminine for me. But usually with powdery scents with a lot of vanilla it does. Butttttt in a Stéphane completionist so I probably will hold on to it

Practically the same as L’erbolario Meharees and just for the fraction of the price.. its very hard to tell them apart. I got this one unfortunatelly. Its beautiful no doubt but pricey

I see the similarities to MR, but I would say this is more versatile and longer lasting than the current MR, with the niche twist to satisfy connoisseurs.

Light and airy comes to mind when the fragrance opens. I smell spices, vanilla, and musk. It's a soft fragrance. -

Love at first sniff. Its infinitely more interesting than MR. Full bottle worthy. A sexy whisper on the wind...

One of my favorite works.. Mixed with genius and leaves a trail of sweet love...

Isra & Miraj opens with deep zest and aromatic spices, managing to smell both rich and airy at the same time. Subtle florals begin to pop up after the first half hour, laying underneath the airy spices. In another half hour, sweet and woody notes begin to rise. This is an elegant and well blended scent - on the softer side, but very beautiful. The durability of the spices are impressive, lasting from opening to dry down. Personally, this is a scent I love to smell, but wouldn't necessarily purchase for wearing - my preference is for harder hitting, more masculine spices. Re: comparison to Musc Ravageur, Isra & Miraj proves to be fresher up top, and a softer, more feminine scent overall.

A pleasant powdery Oriental with a slight animalic undercurrent, this is a nice offering from the SHL line. The perfume opens with spicy citrusy notes of mandarin orange, bergamot, cinnamon and nutmeg. The brief floral heart is heliotrope and osmanthus. The perfume settles into a powdery slightly animalic base of sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, oud, musk and ambergris. The unisex slightly feminine leaning perfume has moderate to strong sillage and good longevity. Not the perfumers best work, but nevertheless a pleasing happy scent with a dessert like vibe to it. Blind purchased a full bottle as the store I went to had a 40% off sale. All I get from this is Almond, cinnamon and Oud. It’s a very basic fragrance but very well made and the quality of ingredients is exceptional. This leans more feminine but men can pull it off too. There’s no silage but lasts a very long time on skin. Because of the scent price and quality of ingredients I (for me personally) can only wear this out to weddings or even work is fine because it’s a skin scent. It’s a great scent woman would fall head over heals for this fragrance.

Opening differs to Musk Ravageur (MR) by way of added citrus notes, but get past the opening it's very similar to MR through the middle and dry down. I'd even go so far as to say it's a little gentler on the senses and somewhat less sweetly and cloying than MR. I prefer it to my bottle of MR, but in saying that if you have either Musk Ravageur or Isra & Miraj already in your collection you don't need the other. They are very much of the same vein with only subtle differences, pick which suits you personally and be happy you don't need the other.

I too got the Musc Ravageur reference, but it’s quite different to it, as well. There is a boozy vanilla quality to this, too. Think Vanille Havana, Rehab, Ambre Narguille, etc. The nutmeg and cinnamon are more pronounced, too (Angels’ Share) with a few darker, resiney aspects to it too. Don’t get me wrong, this is a BEAUTIFUL scent, no question about it, it’s just that I’ve smelt this before elsewhere. Still good stuff, just not groundbreaking...

Smells 95% identical to Musc Ravageur. I have one on each wrist and and Isra an Miraj is just slightly sweeter and missing that animalic musk Musc Ravageur is famous for. Significantly weaker juice. Musc Ravageur is almost too beastly for me to wear but I am certainly not going to shell out an extra 100 dollars for this.

It’s nice just extremely similar to Musc Ravageur. Basically a clone. The musks are more nuanced and intense here it’s a little more spiced and gourmand fluffy cinnamon roll. The overlap is way too much making this completely redundant for me.

Really nice, but too close to other spicy-vanilla-ambery fragrances. If you don't have one, this is a good choice, otherwise save your money.

Opening is a little reminding Coca-Cola vibe. After 5 minutes transforms in the strong oud scent with little addition of vanilla. I guess this is where other people found notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. I get only nose burning oud, for me it’s smelling like something from Mancera synthetic ouds. Some lemon on top, oud and vanilla in the middle. Leaves better smelling scent trail than sits on skin. Very basic oud fragrance I would say, a little disappointed maybe it’s blended a little better than Mancera, but not worth a bottle for such price. Xerjoff 40 knots is something similar, more versatile and I like it better than this one. I expected something different, disappointing.

The opening to my nose is very similar to Menhares with a little citrus in the head and a zero less in the list price. Spices, hot vanilla, Christmas, cloves, nutmeg and a distant touch of leather. It evolves more powdery with the discernible heliotrope, but is essentially on the same team as Musc Ravanger. Low sillage and average length.

Like all SHLs, this fragrance is linear. Same goes for this one. It gets a bit tiring after some wearings. But a god scent overall.

Babies, baby powder, vanilla. Perfume-y.

Isra & Miraj from the French House of Perfumery of Niche High Luxury Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777 is part of the '777 Collection' is a perfume Oriental, Woody, Powdery, Spicy, Floral, Leather Unisex; It was launched in 2019, the perfumer who signs this fragrance is Stéphane Humbert Lucas. Isra & Miraj is a fragrance built on the mythical triad of Arabic perfumery: musk, 'oud, amber. A warm and spicy woody scent. With a slightly citrusy, powdery powdery and spicy exit, the perfume has evolved into an unusual sweet warm floral center of osmanthus and heliotrope. And it continues to blend with an ambery woody base and with an animalic hint for an easy and excellent real 'oud intertwined with vanilla, musk and a noble sandalwood of a unique creaminess. Which followed by a rustic leather and a beautiful and refined ambergris giving even more creaminess and adding another light powdery animalic suggestion to the fragrance. Oriental Perfume, Woody, Powdery, Spicy, Floral, Leather; Elegant very rich, fine, with very high quality ingredients and with good performance.

Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777 Isra & Miraj definitely has the specific kind of vanilla Guerlain Shalimar has. Not very sweet but ambery and powdery. FM Musc Ravageur is actually sweeter to me. I&M however begins strong with the nutmeg note then softens into a powdery, slightly bitter almond kind of vanilla. There’s also a bit of an aromatic kind of salt note mixed with leather in the background. I like this way better because I&M lacks that animalic, piss note I get in Shalimar. The vanilla also appears earlier in this. There’s also a similarity to HOS Sapphire Blue but with less aromatics. The almond vanilla is very similar. I&M ends up having a little lift in the dry down and the powder becomes pressed in texture but it is still a sweet, powdery, vanilla-almond fragrance with most of its uniqueness in the first few opening hours.

Barely any resemblance to Musc Ravageur at all. The opening hints at it, but from that point this is totally different. Take Musc Ravageur, remove the musk, add a mandarin orange note, add a Playdough note, add way more vanilla, and add a skanky authentic oud note that juts in and out of the fragrance at random times, and that’s what this is. I mean who would have expected that. This is so weird. This is far more unisex than MR and far inferior as well IMO. It’s too weird for me to enjoy it. They overcomplicated it. They should have laid off the Playdough and oud and just let it be more obviously feminine, and it would have been way better. They should have allowed this to be a total gourmand, but the Playdough and the skanky oud ruin it.

Isra & Miraj opens with prominent sweet mandarin with noticeable spices namely nutmeg and cinnamon. After a few minutes the fruity Osmanthus appears with noticeable vanilla. Later, I detect the powdery heliotrope with hints of an animalic accord and finally it settles to powdery vanilla/sandalwood combo. While I love it, I don’t think it is unique, it shares many similarities to Musc Ravageur especially in the drydown. I think it is better than MR though (no cloves here) but I miss the musk accord in MR too.

Powdery with slight sweetness.. The mix is amusing, kind of calming, & very much presenting the smell of Mecca. It's powdery with touch of vanilla sweet, heliotrope, white musk, bergamot, mandarin, & powdery cinnamon. I do smell the sunny day with a calming worm breeze within the blend, and indeed, it's like the atmosphere of a religious place. Beautiful.

this one is so interesting. It’s a historical story & spiritual mood which related to Muhammad’s night journey & ascension to sky. According to Quran text (Al-isra (verse no. 1) & Al-Mulk (verse no. 3)) The sky has 7 layers/levels & it fragrance was launched to celebrate the 7 year anniversary of SHL.

This type or oriental is sooo up my alley. Very cozy, not too sweet and i'm not sure on the notes but has some sort of slight medicinial quality that balances all the other notes very well. Average performance which makes it good for closer encounters. Very expensive.

As many have noticed It's close to Musc Ravager, the opening is a bit different but the dry down is definetly the same, I have both in my hands right now and honestly it's hard to find the good one eyes closed.

Although I perfume myself with anything containing oud not so often due to its very strong nature, but Isra&Miraj is very special. Its slightly sweet powdery smokiness creates special calming aura.
