Lady White Snake

Absolute beauty. Took me awhile to fall in love with the tester but I will be getting this asap. It's signature scent worthy. White floral bomb on first spray. I was hoping for this to be a tuberose forward fragrance but it's blended with the other florals so much that I can't pick it out most times. I get a lot of magnolia. The white leather (plasticky, dusty, suede-like) comes through HARD. Kind of powdery not in the makeup way but in an powder made from dry ground up florals way. Very soft. When it's completely dried down it's sexy and a little spicy with a subtle floral greenness. Probably my favorite take on a white florals. When I put it on the back of my neck it's like i've freshly showered with a really, really, really expensive shampoo. Like so high luxury, if you're not swiss boarding school rich, you haven't even ever heard this brand name before type of expensive shampoo. It's so sophisticated and creamy, feminine and sweet without being cloying. I've gone through my sample really quick and it's definitely FBW. This is an ethereal kind of perfume, I've never smelled anything like it and it seems like something a princess would wear. Has a good 5-6 hours of longevity and decent projection. According to my boyfriend, also a nice enough sillage that people can smell you when you walk past them (until about the third hour only) without choking them out. But this scent is so light and wonderful, I can't imagine anyone disliking this on someone else. Edit: I just want to stress again how goddamn beautiful this is. Sometimes I order samples/travels of perfumes (mancera..) and I hate how they smell or they make me nauseous and I think 'maybe I just don't like perfume that much?' and then I smell this again and it transports me onto a different plane. This is a goddess level perfume. I genuinely cannot fathom a person that would hate this fragrance. I don't hate designer frags but a lot of them are just kind of boring - and I'm not a niche supremacist. But I've genuinely never smelled anything like this. I will shill this until the day I die. I'm buying 6 back up bottles of this. The ONLY fragrance for women (who like feminine sophisticated fragrances) that I would 1000% actually recommend to blind buy and I don't ever blind buy. Give this to your wife, your girlfriend, your ex you want to win back. I wouldn't even hate this on a very manly man, it'd just feel like I stumbled upon Eros or Hermes or Adonis. If I was only allowed to own one perfume, it would be this. It keeps me from buying fragrances from samples that I kind of like but not love because when I compare them to this, I'd just rather buy another bottle of this.

Lady White Snake - Is a beautiful white floral with slightly powdery undertones scent, with a touch of very subtle leather to give it some extra punch.. (nothing off-putting in my honest opinion) Love upon first sniff just like the fragrances this one reminds me of that I have purchased as presents for ladies in my family in the past, that fragrance being Roja Parfums - Reckless (Pour Femme) I guess if you imagine that fragrance as a base of this fragrance then overpower that with a bouquet of white florals then you have something along the lines of Lady White Snake. I will add though despite the similarities this one isn't redundant, it does its own thing and it does it very well. This fragrance as the name would suggest is heavily anchored in the feminine side of perfumery, this is definitely one I would consider buying for the ladies in my family but honestly speaking leans too feminine for me to consider for myself which is fine because I went into this fragrance looking for a potential gift for another. I think this fragrance is one that is very easy to like and worthy of a try / sample. Would I buy: As a gift 100% Recommended: If you like any of the following: Kilian Love, PDM Oriana and Roja Reckless then atleast give this a sample.

Upon first wear, I enjoyed it but it didn't stand out to me. But as I continued to wear it, I grew to appreciate how well-blended this perfume is. The notes don't feel muddled, but it's hard to pick out each individual floral note. It feels sexy in a defined feminine way, not a sultry or dirty way. The amber and white leather tone down the florals to be less overwhelmingly sweet or girly. I didn't think I really liked white florals, but thought I'd test this on a whim after trying Libre Le Parfum and enjoying it. The orange blossom note gave me courage. I am quite pleased with this and have a full bottle on the way. (It doesn't hurt that this is my partner's favorite fragrance on me, haha.) It lasts quite well on my skin, in a moderate level of projection. Not a super personal scent, but definitely something you could wear to work.

LWS is an aggressive, strong, leather white floral. This isnt the beauty from a Wish Come True, LWS is the dominating beast. Im getting a mostly synthetic vibe, but in this case, SHL masterfully uses these materials to create its own unique identity from a sea of white floral fragrances. I actually like what he's doing here, and Im generally not a fan of all synthetic fragrances..so that is saying a lot about this perfume. If you wear Cuir de Russie, other alpha female scents, or even a hardened perfumista needing something interesting, check this out. Its all about this fragrance and powerful thigh high white leather boots in my mind. This is the Domina that wears white. Dangerous femme fatale.

A powerful bouquet of white flowers, yes please! Throw in some white leather to add an animalistic hint to it... I can visualize White Lady Snake indeed! The top notes reminded me of Tom Ford’s Tubéreuse Nue which I happen to have a bottle of, so I decided to spray some on my other wrist to compare with this one. TF’s is way more powdery, sweet, has a lot of lilies and benzoin. And when smelling WLS again and comparing, It’s leathery, animalistic with fresh white florals once it has dried down. Edit : Extremely similar to VC&A Gardenia Petal. ____ Sillage & Longevity : 6/10 Originality : 7.5/10 Quality & Value : 6/10 6.5/10

I don't get the hate towards this fragrance. It's a beautiful white floral with a prominent (but not invasive) leather note. The Tuberose is prominent, but not very indolic, compared with other frags with this note. The honeysuckle is beautiful with the mandarin giving LWS a very gracious contrast between de white florals and the leather, out of the ordinary and very "niche" in that regard. I love this one.

After testing and wearing this fragrance several times, I actually realized what made me see it as a very generic floral fragrance: its 1-1 similarity to a now discountinued perfume by Laura Biagiotti (Sotto Voce). I used to like that one a lot back in the days (1996-1997) and, at some point, I missed it a lot and wished for another perfume to replicate its smell. And now came "Lady White Snake".

Pure 80s Glam Metal in a bottle. Loud, provocative, un-apologetic, seductive and magnetic. This fragrance puts some “strut” in my walk while I flip my hair and give you sass. And you love it when I do.

Highly charismatic, rather dominant grande-dame scent with attitude - while infinitely more femme than most things I gravitate to, something about its leathery undertow and the way the flowers are braided together was/is totally convincing. With all those sweet, often overbearing florals - honeysuckle AND jasmine AND tuberose? Good golly, miss Molly - you might presume it would be cloying and tacky and oversugared, but no way. This is a grown-up lady who's been around and seen some things, and could teach any first-timer a thing or two. It's beautifully judged - maybe the magnolia in the middle which brings everything together in perfect balance, and gives it a proper centre of gravity. Not remotely a teeny-girly posy or fake-ingenue garland, but rather a lush and sweeping sort of symphonic scent. Still not quite my world, but it is so absolutely leagues out of the usual flower-vase arrangement that even my fellow floral-ambivalent sniffers may well be won over. Stiffly priced, but then nothing about its aura seems cheap, so fair enough. Perhaps not my thing in the end, but I loved trying it. Give it a chance and see if it does the (serious) business for you.

Lady White Snake is an overdose of clean white florals - it’s intensely feminine and quite sweet. It initially opens with a thick burst of honeysuckle and tuberose which could be polarising for some, with touches of orange blossom to sharpen it up. Magnolia and Jasmine soon appear, adding to the array of clean and soapy white florals and leaving you with something quite pretty. A musky base of leather and Amber soon present themselves as well, which provide depth and longevity to an otherwise very bright and clean scent. This fragrance is very good, but I wouldn’t say mind blowing. I struggle to understand how this can be unisex either as it’s very very feminine. While white florals are usually very light, airy and quite weak, this scent is thick and potent with no performance issues for me.

Every scents from the Serpent line share these qualities in common: smooth, characterless, and underwhelming. I don't find this to be femme fatale and/or animalic at all. I love tuberose but am not a crazy fan of it; however, the way I perceive this frag is that the beauty of tuberose is tainted by some other white florals (that don't have their distinctive presence individually), but the tuberose on its own isn't heady. The scent feels flat and lacks depth, which also applies to the white leather accord, although leather isn't overpowering. They could've added some spices to get that venom gimmick plus heavier amber or resins accord. It doesn't live up to its concept, in my opinion. This would make a good professional scent.

One of the best orange blossom + honeysuckle + magnolia + jasmine fragrances I have had the pleasure of testing. It's super feminine, a true delight on spring, summer, and autumn mornings. I don't smell anything which is aggressive (at least to my nose), it's just a strong, well-executed blend of white florals. Like other SHL fragrances, wish they lasted longer + a bigger quantity would be nice, as clearly 50ml isn't enough for some of us.

Animalic tuberose. I like this one, tuberose blended with leather that's pretty much all you get, quite a strong scent. More feminine but i think a man could pull this off as it's leathery and animalic.

This is a perfect mom scent, strong, beautiful tuberose emphasized by leather. Good parameters, gift-ish price.

It opens with a hefty leather smell that lasts for the first two hours—personally, it was so strong that it gave me a headache after the first minutes of wearing it. Once the leather smell is gone, it has some sweetness, but white flowers are unnoticeable. It must be a great choice for men or older women for winter occasions.

A tuberose scent that’s topped with leather. The leather is eeeeextra strong in here. At first I thought it smells pretty similar to Tubereuse Nue from TF, but then the leather hit! To the point that it turned out to be more of a leathery scent than floral. Won’t be getting a bottle.. However the performance is great!

I liked it on the blotter, but had a different experience on the skin. It's a complex, heavy, deep, and expensive scent. The jasmine here is rich and animalic. The sensation of tobacco. The longevity at 16°C (60 F) is moderate, lasting up to 3 hours, and it sits close to the skin

Lady White Snake opens with a sharp, mature tuberose and jasmine that unfortunately does not soften into anything warm or creamy enough on my skin to win me over. White florals over a musky vanilla base - I must say that the vanilla base is lovely but it arrives too late and too quietly to save the experience.

A synthetic disaster. This does not seem to be composed by this once talented perfumer at all. In fact this entire line of new releases bears none of his signature touches evidenced in creations like Oumma, Black Gemstone or O’Hira. This sickly sweet synthetic mess has heavy white florals and synthetic musk. It smells more like a cheap scented candle in your supermarket. Giving away free bottles to influencers to create overhyped positive reviews will not ultimately be a winning strategy. I have a feeling that someone has purchased the brand name and making these synthetic scents and bottling them in the old SHL snake bottles and using YouTube hype to push this new line. Very sad and very dangerous. Please put your nose to the test here. Atrocious.

So strong and overpowering. Smells like someone who wants to get laid at the nightclub. Trashy and synthetic. Really one of the worst perfumes I've ever smelled. I dont get floral notes. It's very heavy handed on the musk. In fairness I cant even tell you about the dry down because I threw my sample away immediately.

SHL gives us his interpretation on a white floral here. I've been super disappointed by many white florals lately. I'm not mad about this fragrance-I think it's a modern, more youthful take on a white floral perfume. The white florals are not dominant in any one note, I notice jasmine, tuberose, honeysuckle, and the magnolia, which often has woody aspects as well. I smell a little citrus, a smooth leather note and an ambery base in the dry down. No surprises here, everything in the note pyramid I recognize and agree with. The leather here, or a note here, is similar to a one I get in Mango Kiss. Often times, his fragrances grow on me and I appreciate them more with time. Since MK did away with his signature white floral, I'm left with just Rouge Malachite, and I would be happy with it alone for a tuberose fragrance for the rest of my life. I was wanting a good Jasmine perfume, or actually just a great, creamy white floral with a bit of an edge. This may be it for me, or maybe I'll go and take a risk and Blind Buy Jasmine Marzipan. A wee bit underwhelmed here, tbh. Not bad, but I figured he would do something a little riskier here-add a cappuccino note, more coconut.

There is nothing so bad in this scent but it’s very synthetic and it’s not unique. I have “the same scent” in much more better quality like Nasomatto Narcotic V and Haüto which is more interesting. If I would buy one more Tuberose/Jasmine scent into my collection it would be Dusitas Melodie L’Amour which is really beautiful or Clive Christian Jump Up And Kiss Me Ecstatic which is totally in another level from Lady White Snake. This and Venom Incarnat are the most synthetic ones from Stéphane Humbert Lucas but Venom Incarnate is amazing in hot weather and it's unique. But if you love Tuberose and especially if you don't have any of this category yet, this could be your choice. The bottle is amazing like all in Snake Collection. Longevity and projection are great. #heavysign I blind bought this due to the notes in it and it got such rave reviews. It smells like a less syrupy sweet, less toothache inducing Kilian's Love (Don't be shy) with a spritz of Kilian's Dark Lord. The leather/smoke smell reminiscent of Dark Lord only lasts about the first 10 minutes, Thank God, but it's VERY smoky for those 10 minutes. I love Dark Lord on my husband, but its for a manly man and its an acquired taste/scent. Not a scent for feminine women. For the duration of the fragrance (which is very long lasting) it smells just like LDBS. The notes are even nearly identical. If you are someone that loves LDBS or PDM Oriana, you'll love this. I am not a fan of LDBS or Oriana, so this was a fail for me. I got sample of Sand Dance and it smells just like Kilian's Angel Share, only slightly less sweet. This line appears to be a dupe of Kilian's but without the cheaper dupe price. It's duping Kilian's but is more expensive than Kilian's. Just NO. I won't be purchasing anything else from this brand.

I purchased my beloved Delina and Oriana and my package came in sprayed with this beauty. As soon as I opened it, I kept detecting this gorgeous smell and wondering what it was.. I read the card inside stating it was “Lady White Snake”. WOW. I didn’t know the brand etc.. the smell is of course recalling white florals with a plus of extremely subtle leather, I can smell a hint of amber, the juice is extremely well blended. It smells elegant and very refined. I love it. 28/05/2022 Tested on skin Edit: I tested on skin and the soft sensation of white leather (suede skin like) definitely stands out on my skin surrounded by white flowers, a hint of mandarin and musk. Extremely refined. It may share similarities with Good Girl Gone Bad due to the white flowers + amber/musky base. It delivers that bright, sunny and white feeling however Lady WS has no osmanthus, no sourness, it smells even more sophisticated to me.

I usually really dislike tuberose in perfume but this is done RIGHT. I adore this scent. It’s probably going to take over Chloe Nomade Absolu as my signature because I purchased the sample decant, blew through it so fast, then tried out a larger decant, and have savored every minute wearing it. To this day, I keep smelling my empty decant because it just smells so good. I ended up purchasing a full bottle at a nice discount so I’m incredibly happy. It’s a forever bottle in my collection from now on. I would say it’s a safe blind buy but only if you or gift recipient can handle that leathery undertone (funny enough, leather notes are another hard sell for me but again, this one is balanced perfectly.) I love the other notes in here so I highly recommend trying it if you usually enjoy them as well.

Simply perfect. Huge accent on fresh white flowers, with an oriental heady, warm undertone. Intoxicating, spellbinding, bewitching. This creation made the perfumer stand out from the entire niche family, who is now second only to Roja Parfums as far as the composition and quality are concerned. Bien fait, Monsieur! P. S. The pyramid is similar to the one of the Fleur du Désert, but compared with the Louis Vuitton's commercial scent, deserves to be recognised a masterpiece - much smoother, better blended, finer, more feminine, very elegant.

I wouldn't say this is a mom scent at all! It's not sweet, comforting or maternal enough to be a mom scent like Burberry Goddess or Clinique Happy. It's more sexy corporate CEO business woman, powerful and intimidating. Beauty with a hint of danger. This fragrance displays white florals combined with leather, which gives it edge and venom. I do get visions of a white snake when I smell this. It's the perfect complement for dark or edgy looks during the spring and summer seasons. I wear this at work when I want to feel powerful.

Opening is such a fresh and beautiful orange blossom. None of that dense funky type from oriana or ldbs. The first hour or so leaves a really nice trail. It settles pretty quick and becomes more musky and flat but the opening is really stunning. My sample is quite old but I really don’t get much leather

Tried this in Harrods and it’s really nice, felt a bit Kilian Love inspired but more complex, less syrupy. Sorry it’s short but I smelled A LOT of perfumes so I don’t remember more than that. I’ll definitely be trying to get a sample.

this is a very powdery and boring white floral to me—i can’t even detect it on myself after a few minutes. yet surprisingly it’s attracted a lot of compliments, a safe and simple white floral office kind of scent.

Gorgeous white floral blend with the star being orange blossom. Dries down to a soft amber in about 3 hours. Also love the bottle design. I wish it lasted longer for the price point.

I don’t have a super sophisticated nose but I’m a sucker for white florals. The opening is a blast of white floral and bandaid. After an hour it’s softened to a woody white floral.

Soapy, stiff white floral scent. Slightly plastic. I don't like this.
