Le Musset

I tried this in Paris at Jovoy and fell in love. I had it on for about an hour at the boutique to see how it sat. At first it was sweet, but it died down to this mellow yummy peach on my skin. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrists. An uplifting fragrance that brings a smile to my face. Every time the wind blew, the fragrance would surround me. Such a beautiful yummy fragrance without being cloyingly sweet. I’ve been wearing it for about a week despite it being November and love taking a wiff of myself as I walk throughout the city. Love love love!

A joyful dessert on a Paris afternoon. It opens with a bright mix of apple and raspberry, wrapped in soft vanilla and amber. Sweet, fruity, and comforting without ever feeling childish.

Not sure why I am getting a slight band-aid smell.. I think it’s the peach and amber mix. I almost like it but it just has a slight latex/plastic/ band-aid smell poking through...And I’m sad because the notes sounds so delicious. I will continue to try and use my 10ml decant.

The first whiff is realistic pink cotton candy with perfect raspberry. The green apple adds a tiny citrusy touch. Then it transitioned into a sweet bright amber candy. Lasts for hours and before it faded, it smelled like fuzzy peachy musk and Smarties candies which lingered even longer. I have to mention that even though the notes are fun, it smells like an adult and sophisticated scent so don’t let my review sway you into thinking it’s immature at all. I think it’s very well done for a fragrance to have such a fun aura and still be grounded with class thanks to the musk and amber.

I honestly don't know under what rock I was all this time but Maxaroma sent me a sample of this perfume and I was so in love that I ordered it and they had a BOGO sale so I got Le Sully too. I do not consider myself a hardcore gourmand lover because I hate smelling like food but this smells sweet, fruity and creamy and it lasts on my skin for a long time with a moderate projection. It is so cocooning and relaxing I love wearing it at night because it makes me so happy. I want to keep exploring the brand. Suggestions welcomed.

Tres beau parfum , annoncé fruité floral mais + fruité gourmand , d’ailleurs pas de fleurs répertoriées dans les notes... Début de pommes - pêche aux épices très attrayant , puis les notes de cœur se marient très vite et très bien avec les notes boisé-patchouli-vanille, ce qui n’est pas pour déplaire quand on est un homme . Je pense qu’en début d’automne et début de printemps il fera des ravages , intersaisons...

I don’t know why but for some reason this smells like nail polish remover on my skin. Very strong scent but something about it is super screechy and synthetic. I don’t get any sweetness at all.
