Yamuna River

In the grandiose silence of the snow Yamuna drapes my body like a garland of frozen flowers. A soft blanket of pure white covers the horizon as far as the eye can see. I turn my face into the winter breeze of citrus and mint which sweeps along my skin. Cheeks flush pink like Bulgarian roses. The snow glimmers and glows with beauty reflecting the sunlight. A floral paradise unfurls of powdery jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang with its piquant sweetness and soapy lily of the valley flowing in streams of intricate lace. There is a honeyed elegance and coveting sweetness that flows through Yamuna River which I enjoy. A kind embrace of cardamom, clove and soft woods provide warmth and elevate the composition. Despite the richness of all the notes the scent remains airy and translucent. Vanilla is one of the notes that took me a long time to like but when used correctly and of quality it does wonders. The opalescent base highlights the creamy facets of ambered vanilla enriched with tonka bean before disappearing into white musks. Yamuna is in line with other floral fragrances but you can undeniably smell the quality of ingredients. It has a solemn equilibrium about the way the notes are arranged, which works wonderfully on my skin. It carries itself in featherweight and is simply a delight.

Love this fragrance! It has a special place in my heart and my collection. Lots of good memories are attached to it. Objectively, the perfume is high quality, has excellent performance, and of course a gorgeous scent.

This collection contains 6 creations, all namer after the most famous rivers of the world. Yamuna, the inspiration behind this fragrance is all about kind touches, everlasting love and a deep connection to culture and nature - the beautiful mint green liquid sets such a serene tone, and the handmade plaque on the bottle is just fabulous. The scent itself.. on the top we have bergamot and lemon oil, in the heart bulgarian rose oil, patchouli, ylang, jasmine and cardamom on a bed of sandalwood, vanilla and musk.. I mean just the ingredients are glorious, but the result is just beautiful. On my skin, this is a lush, creamy, sweet vanilla with hints of ylang and floral undertones. I would definitely consider this a floral oriental creation with facets of freshness and citrus - which ever so slightly create a magical atmosphere. I find this fresh sweetness and the vanilla-tonka base really precious.
