Midnight Bloom

I caved and got a bottle off of amazon... I am not usually a fan of gardenia but the fig and the amber turn it into something beautiful on my skin.. Stilla did a fantastic job with this fragrance and it is by far their best. I was obsessed with it when it first came out, but I couldn't afford the big bottle so I had many sets of the roller balls with the lipgloss. I have always regretted not getting a fb but thanks to amazon I am finally reunited with this. My tastes have matured a lot into more expensive niche fragrances since I first found this, but it is still an incredible frag in my book. I have grown out of most of my 16 year old fragrances, but this is different and special. Midnight Bloom and Cruel Gardenia elixir by Guerlain are the only gardenias I find wearable at all. I wish they didn't d/c this but I feel lucky to have a bottle now :)

I received this as swap from a beauty/fashion swap internet site. So, I had no idea what to expect. No way to sample it before buying. It arrived late last night (06/14/16). I fell in love with it shortly after trying it today. It's soft, cozy and comforting, just like a great cashmere sweater or favorite blanket. I wore it to work, and I caught people "sniffing" me, not in a stalker way, but in a goofy-grin way. It reminds me of my beloved, and discontinued Sin Urban Decay perfume oil. Of course, this has discontinued. Sigh.....

If you are searching for a potential replacement for this long discontinued fragrance try Henry Rose's Queens and Monsters. After the initial opening I swear it's almost and exact match.

This was my go to scent in college. I just found my old bottle with a pinch left (such a cute bottle design) and it gave me flashbacks to American Apparel, keyboard cat, and birds on everything lol. It’s a sweet and humid scent, it smells like sticky skin. I’d say it leans young and girly but that might be nostalgia.

Stila is one of my favorite cosmetic brands and gardenia is one of my favorite floral notes. In this fragrance the gardenia is made creamy by the fig and vanilla. It's a soft creamy floral fragrance without any facets. After an hour I could barely smell it.

I bought this off of ebay as I have been on a fig kick, and I will say first off that this is not really a green fig scent. The stars here are gardenia, vanilla, and amber -- but they are done very nicely for a cheapie, and I think this will join my rotation for autumn. This is a very warm, welcoming gardenia with just a touch of white floral powderiness, although the amber and vanilla keep it from getting soapy and give it a comforting, cozy quality. The (dark) fig is there, but faintly in the background as a fruity note that could be any number of fruits really. It's not a masterpiece but it's very nice for the price!
