Ahead

Thanks to Chris from scentland to make me buy this a year ago. It smells more expensive than its real price, a very nice blend of bergamot,sage,something like tea, neroli and cedar. The smell is so refreshing and invigorating, i cant believe how much pleasant this fragrance is! Hard to compare to another fragrance, it reminds me the estathé, a very popular ice tea here in italy. Average performance, great for spring time and gym activities or for casual situations. So happy to have it! Un profumo da super mercato che merita molto più di quel che costa. I found STR8 Ahead a bit rough and harsh when I bought it last year. Used it a couple of times and it was OK but nothing fantastic. When the wheather got warmer this year I tried STR8 Ahead again and now it was a much smoother scent. Not harsh anymore but instead a wonderful green note of Clary Sage and I love to put it on after a shower. It smells so fresh and clean. Pretty good lasting power with a decent sillage that makes it a perfect scent for warm summer evenings. Now I love it and will probably buy another when I run out. Remarkably good value for your money as it is sold for close to nothing.

A very pleasant surprise from STR8. The smell composition is complex; at first, right after spraying, feels pepper-y and fruity, fresh and spring-like. Next, the lavender takes the lead, and is a big part until the fragrance wears off. When the fresh and fruity notes diminish, gentle sandalwood note coexists with lavender, and the smell turns cozy and autumn-y. Sillage could be better, other people can smell it only when they're very close, and overusing it makes the smell too intensive. But it's definitely a great fragrance for everyday wear. 8.5/10

This is my first fragrance from Str8. I bought it based on Chris from Scent Land’s review, and he was spot on as usual. This is a great freebie, that has both modern and classic qualities. To me it opens similar to Terre d’Hermes, and dries down similar to Chanel Platinum Egoist. The quality would be good if this was a full price designer fragrance at $100 for 100ml, but at $22 for 100 ml, it is amazing! One of the best valued fragrances in my collection!

Price/Quality ratio is amazing. Just a slightly herbal and floral opening thanks to sage and neroli. Smooth transition into a heart of Iris and Cedar ( more Iso E Super I'd guess). This is creamy, airy and very elegant. It has some ressemblance with Prada l'Homme and the Molecule and Escentric 01 too. For the price you pay this is a 10/10

Stunning fragrance! I have reviewed this twice on my SCENT LAND Channel. The fragrance has a great modern, urban yet natural fougere character mainly provided by the exceptional blending of the sage & lavender. Tremendous price vs Quality ratio. Very calming and reassuring scent. One of the best releases of the past years. Bravo!

I feel like this is a banger. I picked mine up for 8 bucks and even till now its one of the best fragnances I have ever smelled. Its a very masculine playful fragnance. I usually get the woody notes but sometimes you get that burst of bergamot. Id say that this a playful all season fragnance that just works.

Maaaaaan! Wonderfull fragrance . Thé sage note IS very very nice . Imagine Dior homme original more modern and masculine . My best blind buy ever ....... If Creed or pdm made this , the youtubers, would throw themselves on it

This was one of my first fragrances, I still have one from 2022, and to this day, it smells the same. The scent is so calming, I Always wear it to sleeping, because its not too strong. I highly recommend it.

STR8 AHEAD is good for office and casual meet everyday and nights

This is a great gym scent. Sets you apart from the very citrus smelling fragrances and still very fresh but in an aromatic and herbal way. It is also quite versatile but best on warm days and early evenings. Cozy and energetic but not for date nights or formal occasion. That lavender and sage just works vero well over the strong woody base. I even get oregano even though it is not listed as a note. Makes me want to eat a pizza. For the price this is an absolute steal.

First spray, surprisingly good. I smelled something special but I couldn't pinpoint it till I saw the note breakdown. The Iris! Immediately reminded me of Prada L'homme. It's got the clean powdery vibe. This one however has more sweetness, woodiness, and peppery spice. Because of that, it kinda becomes a better fit for casual use, like when you're going on a daytime date. Performance, not impressive. Drastically faded after 45 mins.

Opening was funny part, it's like dropping a bunch of Legos on the floor and stepping on them barefoot for ten minutes. And then, It smells like freshly dried laundry. Lasting power is ensured with lots of ISO E super, which seems to be the the main ingredient. poor mans' Terre d'Hermes

Dude, where I live you can get a 100 ml bottle of this frag for 8 USD at discounters. For such a price you get very pleasant manly scent, that I received multiple compliments from women for. The longevity is not the best but who cares, for this price just spray much more than usual.

Chilly mornings walking to work this fragrance works so well in the spring or to be honest a signature scent. Buy a bottle which will cost less than £20 and you will be happy it’s in your collection plus you will have nothing likes it’s DNA safe late twenties onwards blind buy.

reminds me of something from the late 80's or early 90's but can't remember what was it. something in the alain delon classic direction. but it's playfull, pleasant, with overall good sillage and longevity. funny one. 7/10

Clary Sage heaven! Very airy, woody-green, soapy clean stuff with some shady citruses. You need to like the greens to like that, but if you do it, you'll not be disappointed. Fine green scent for pennies. I still like it!

STR8 Ahead, a citrusy,floral,sweet,green fragrance.For the price it's really good especially for occasions like gym,school or everyday. Personally I like it since I got it as a gift it's not bad.

Works best when sprayed on shirt under the clothes, then it's not in your face and smells like fresh laundry very long.

Opening not so great. Dry down smells nice but kind of reminds me of old clothing

Needed to spend couple more dollars for a free shipping, so I bought this fragrance in 50ml for 5 dollars without trying first. Ehh, it's way too herbal for me. It smells like one of those pain relief gels or something like strong coughing pastilles. If you spray this heavily, people around you will think you're having a flu or something :D I have previously worn Carolina Herrera 212 NYC Men and the green notes there were beautifully mixed with the other notes. Very well made fragrance, but obviously more expensive. Not a big fan of Str8 Ahead, glad I didn't pay much for it. The metal box, where the fragrance bottle is packaged, is quite useful, you can put some stuff in it. So there you go.

Edgey, strong, wery fres scent. Wery hars et the bigining after its calms down become weareble. Firs i dont like it bat i use it now. My colig used something simelar and it was plesent smelling in ear.

Its a decent masculine smell, however the projection and sillage is really bad, rather spend just a bit more money and u can get much better EDTs.

I agree with the other comment who said this smells like stepping on Lego pieces. It feels like plastic. I oversprayed it one time and it made me feel angry. I wish I could send it to somebody, but the shipping will cost almost the same as the bottle. Old men would probably wear this. I am surprised this is a Giannis Antetokounmpo line. I can't see a young man in mid 20s wearing this regularly. No way. Yuck.

Pleasant, fresh aromatic, not at all synthetic and cheap smelling. After 10 minutes or so I am confused. Then boom -Egoiste Platinum)).So I make a comparison right away. STR8 is slightly sweeter and without the herbal soapiness.They basically have a lot of ingredients in common,, without a specific order - lavender, neroli, geranium, clary sage, and cedar in the dry down.I'm not saying it's on the same level as Egoiste.P or that it's trying to be a clone,but it seems that up to a point, they're going in the same direction.)) Better than many acclaimed perfumes out there,not to mention the price.

Something about this that screams a Spring afternoon sitting outside at a NYC cafe next to a pizza cart and green plants. Maybe its the sage that is basically a less strong oregano, the main player in NYC pizza, and the many small gardens in mid-town. I love it mainly because it's so unique without being weird. Sporty and casual, yet classy and masculine. It would make an awesome splash at the gym after a intense workout and shower. While other guys are applying their blue, fruity and citrus colognes, you'd be the man... the lone wolf ladies will find mysterious.

Hiking in the woods I met a man who was walking his dog and he smelled nice. I gathered my courage and asked him what he was wearing and it was Str8 Ahead. He was actually surprised to get a compliment on, as he said, a cheap deodorant. I wear men fragrances quite regularly (female here) and this one smelled fresh and unisexy to me. It gets a bit sweet on my skin but still a nice cheap gym or "go for a walk" fragrance. Did any of you try to combine it with Encre Noir? I personally love the combo.

I'm absolutely buying this fragrance.. Recommendation of Chris from YouTube channel "Scentland". In a NEW video as a potential antidote for depression. The video is titled "5 fragrances to fight your inner demons" and was put onYouTube five days ago or so. . It appears to be a very compassionate response to particular people in the frag community who are struggling. Chris named 5 frags but some prominently featured aqua notes, which I don't care for. He said this is a "grounding" frag.

My discovery in 2020. I asked the man on the street what he is wearing. Totally cheapy, but magical potion. My wife wearing this time to time too. Neighbor - woman lawyer - perfume head, asking my wife what she is wearing, because trail behind her was beautifull back then. She bought this cheapie too. Definitely unisex. Something like a Molecule - Iso E Super, woody but with clary sage twist. Don't sleep, check is a must!

Very, very soapy fragrance. Similar to Prada L'homme, but with less sweetness and less body. There's a massive dose of ISO E Super which arguably takes the main stage (rather than the scent itself, that prada-soapy DNA). Not bad performance and longevity either. As long as this isn't heavily oversprayed, it could easily be used as a gentle office-like-scent, in the same way that Prada L'homme as been adopted.

I also get the plastic feeling during the opening, and it is almost annoying in the first moments but later on it gets better. It has a strong "fresh" scent but also a bit too herbal/green for me. Maybe it's the clary sage that is too strong here, I'm not sure

New fragrance??? kkk only on fragrantica I have this fragrance since 2020 (Portugal) its a lovely smell , clean smell just fantastic! I put this fragrance on the same style that Prada fragrance , Iris,soapy,clean , nothing close to TH.

Classic Spring scent that is very different than what every other dude is wearing. Reminds me a lot of mid Spring in NYC on a sunny day.
