Cachouli

Gourmand Patchouli with less Earthy vibe and more in woody side because of Clearwood. Moderate sweet by Honey, have a hint of lactonic and finished by spice Very unique Patchouli. Different from every famouse patchouli fragrance that i smelled and owned before. but i think this stuff didn't get a patchouli lover's heart. but people who usually don't expect patchouli will love it

An extremely lush patchouli, deepened by a rich, dark cacao, and sweetened with honey. I love how the cacao brings out the earthiness. Despite its chocolatey quality, it's not a gourmand; it feels like a sweet, earthy resin dripping from tree bark. Still, it's so delicious I almost want to eat it.

Delicious patchouli, with dark cacao. Slightly sweet and very spicy. As a hardcore patch fan and this is so fun to have.

This is a pleasant scent, if you are a fan of a woody or earthy style of patchouli. I personally find the cocoa and honey quite quiet, and the "sweetness" I sense is the natural kind of sweet smell that comes from cinnamon. The spice aspect is delightfully done--not overwhelming but instead a perfectly blended amount. There is a labdanum and Peru balsam undertone, and I don't get tonka or florals in it. As a gourmand lover, I definitely don't consider this to be a "sweet" scent, but I can see how others who don't normally wear gourmands could perceive it that way. Very wearable, but possibly better suited to evening than daytime. Much nicer than Reminisce Patchouli.

Patchouli laden with honey to give the cacao that sense of being 'chocolatey'. Very sweet and Earthy, full, and satisfying. Quite a selection of notes including some mushroom and gardenia although so well blended as to not be obvious beyond the patch, cacao and honey imho. Moderate as far as lasting power on the skin. Exclusive for Lucky Scent(Scent Bar) to celebrate 20 yrs. As an avid patchouli fan, I knew I had to obtain this fragrance. My first dive into Strangers Perfumerie. I'll be getting more of Prin's creations. ✨

A limited edition release for Luckyscent, Cachouli by Strangers is a gourmand patchouli-cacao with some interesting notes like milk, nutmeg, soil tincture, cinnamon, dried fruit and mushrooms mixed in. I don’t smell the individual notes, per se, but it is a creamy and thick pudding-like scent. Very good performance with modest projection—though not the most unique niche scent. Cachouli is super wearable, no hard edges or rough patches. I haven’t found a lot of Strangers scents I like, but this one is yummy.

Honeyed patchouli with chocolate facets. Delicious and syrupy. You have to enjoy patchouli, though, don't think because there are gourmand notes that this will go full gourmand. It doesn't, it is still quite green and earthy, just has the addition of sticky honey and rich cacao. Lasts a long time and is enveloping. I already have a deep patchouli fragrance (Fancy Nights) so I don't need Cachouli, but it has definitely been fun to wear today! It kind of reminds me of Cafe Cacao, but with patchouli.

Very earthy Patchouli and somewhat resinous but smells very natural!

Oof, this one is tricky! I’ve had fragrances that I have used the descriptor, “damp forest floor” and believed it at the time. However, this IS exactly a damp forest floor! Mushrooms 🍄 popping up in mossy soil, rotting damp wood. Perhaps there’s a nearly dilapidated cabin where they are cooking something warm with fruit and cinnamon in an old cast iron kettle over the fireplace. For a moment I thought it may turn into something reminiscent of the iconic Tabu,(I love the way the patchouli is done) but it never quite hit that earthy sexiness for me. It’s such an interesting blend, I would say it’s photorealistic. Very interesting! I can respect the artistry, however I don’t think I’d ever want to smell like this. I’m pretty sure if I ever did, hubs would wonder why I rolling around in the dirt and gently suggest I needed to hop in the shower.

Really don’t like this. Seems likely to be the soil and mushroom that make it yuck. Duh!! I would expect to dislike that. Sample was part of Luckyscent best of 2023. Pretty sure I won’t be buying the 2023 “best of” given my experience ...

I was really excited about this fragrance until I wore it on skin. Smelling it in the bottle and on a card, what I got was a blast of juicy peach, dirty patchouli, and bitter cacao... the notes all vied for my attention and clashed with one another in a way I found intriguing and promising. So I sprayed it on my wrists. Big mistake. On my skin, Cachouli is a bowl of stale cinnamon candies and potpourri sitting in a grandmother’s house. Grotesquely sweet and floral. Grandma offers you some sticky, calcified dried fruits that no one has touched for decades and you decline while forcing a smile. Where are the earthy notes? This is just sugary cinnamon, dead flowers, and crusty dried fruit. Repulsive. I had to scrub this one; it was a little sickening. Might be nice on someone else’s skin, but it’s a no for me dawg.

با بوییدن غلاف وانیل یا روغن خام و بدون افزودنی اش،متوجه میشید که خیلی از عطر ها از این نُت استفاده کردند و حتی اسم اش تو لیست نت های عطر نباشه شروع ای عطر بوی غلاف وانیل رو داره،بویی چند بُعدی با فضایی مشابه به جنس چرمی و براق وانیل.رایحه ای بالزام در کنار وایب غلیظ ای از نت های صمغی،رزینی که گاها تا حد زیادی یادآور فضای عودی برام بود پچولی نسبتا خُشک و عَلفی که با کاکائو ترکیب شده اما نه یک کاکائوی شیرین؛بلکه فضای ترکیبیِ تلخ و شیرین که حس پودرهای کاکائو رو منتقل می کنه در بعضی لحظات بوی خاک و نم و فضاهای کهنه رو القا می کنه و گاهی هم بوی عطاری های قدیمی رگه هایی از جنس میوه ای و اون هم در قالبی خشک شده و نسبتا آلویی مانند به مشام می رسه که انگار ترکیب دارچین و یک سری آلو یا آلبالو رو می بوییم؛بو و طعم ای که شاید گاهی در بوییدن و چشیدن بعضی از نُسخه های دون قهوه عربیکا در دهان و بینی مون می پیچه پرفورمنس چندان جذاب ای نداشت و رایحه عطر هم برای من در حد تست کافی بود *********************** scent:7/10 longevity:7/10 sillage:6/10 purchase value:3/10 ******** overall:5.8/10
