Plunge

Plunge opens with an aldehyde blast, and aldehydes are prominent into the drydown. It adds a bit of green freshness in the opening and then flowers - I would say an abstraction of flowers - including rose. It is far from a traditional chypre, perhaps more of a contemporary take on it, appealing to a younger generation.

What would forbidden fruits smell like? In Plunge by Strangers Parfumerie, peach and plum emerge from a chypre structure adorned with roses. These fruits aren’t sweet or gourmand—they are green, unripe, and inviting, shrouded in an abstract animalic and ambery aura.

Aldehydic opening amongst spiced carnations and slap of bright florals with light touches of citrus but the aldehydes distract from any sharpness that would be present. I get a rather perfumed plum non sultry plum into the heart along side some peachiness... stays this way for awhile with a rather eh rose though I don't mind as I hate rose so the less rose the better. not really a fan of this its far to "perfumy" for me even more so as it develops and the soapiness and muskiness comes out.

A brisk citrus/aldehydic/fruity sparkle and cool spice are quickly drowned by a big dose of a watery, ozonic, clean aldehydic accord. Nicely floral and herbal; like clean air; marine. Very much in the loud laundry detergent or fabric softener territory. Soapy and maybe even a touch bleachy. Clean but a bit of a generic laundry smell.

I can detect Aphermate that's an aroma chemical that has watery and fruity (apple) nuances. Can anyone else familiar with this ingredient confirm. Other than that it's a pleasant scent leaning feminine imo.
