Violetta Mannara

This, to me, is two personalities in a bottle. One of romantic, almost seductive violets, very sweet, the other wild, like a dark forest full of secrets and strange creatures. The scent is earthy, but also very clearly a floral violet scent at its core. It's also very powdery. I found it gradually got more violet/powdery and less forest-y over time. If I could've bought a smaller decant I would, but I wasn't let down! On the contrary, it is now my favourite. Very unique.

Imagine an old stone house, part collapsed due to age. The dry side is dusty and musty, the open side is covered in moss and violets. That's what this perfume smells like to me. After hours of wearing it the violet turns sweet and tame, powdery and not as loud as the opening. Perfect for autumn days where the sky is already dark at 3pm.

An extraordinary very peculiar violet! Forget about the violet perfumes old fashioned, this one is dry and wet at the same time, with shades of soil. A very interesting perfume.

This perfume is very well crafted I must say but not for the faint of heart ! Manara means werewolf and the werewolf is definitely here ! All in leather and strong undergrowth smell of some dark forest. Violet is here as well. Wet and flowery. But you cannot forget the werewolf, all in dark and moist leather, almost repulsive. As a modest fragrances collector ,I am glad to have it my collection but I wouldn't wear it. Not a safe blind buy !
