Brazilian Perfume 509

Fragrantica pls put ALL of these up. For us Broke B’s? These are a great deal!! Perfect for spring summer! I have this one (now they’re sold in a flat opaque bottle same color) and I have the 309 which is the dupe for coco cabana/39! It’s a hit with my friends as well. It performs better than the OG SDJ mists but it’s not too overbearing for summer heat. The price can’t be beat! This is where SDJ (imo) messed up same with BBW, bodymists are awaysebkf $ for something that literally lasts a few mins to maybe an hour. Along with overconsumption of the bath girlies on TT, what it does to landfills etc... I’m NOT a body mist girl the reality? Is they’re cash grabs they can keep putting them out and the girlies who run out buy more every couple of months! And the reality will always be, thy don’t perform on skin! But, an edt? At $23, less than all the “fancier” body mists? It will last me for 3-4 hrs, longer on clothes, a year if I’m just using for spring and summer! I fell into the hype and I thought extra whip, thinking it would layer well or be nice for bed it was my MOST expensive one and I could NOT smell it after 5 mins!! Robbery. Shame on the brand. There are a couple of bodymists I love just for their well created scents I had yet to find the perfect perfume like them: Frozted Coconut Snowball ( love the chill fresh vibes you literally get from this one I wish BBW would make this a perfume) whipped vanilla chiffon, I actually get 39 mins out of it and it’s a nice summer splash, oddly enough... my one exception in terms of longevity is Body Fantasy White Musk!! Just discovered by accident a year ago via friend and I also discovered it works amazing with perfume oils!! I put a couple dabs of blueberry oil? I had an amazing spring scent!! And lastly Jeanaté! Yes I’m not too proud to admit this one will always have a place in my heart and it actually lasts a couple of hours! I’m not a perfume snob! I love my Chanel my Dior; I love niche I love indie oils etc etc but these are a lot of fun. Great way for a teen to experiment. Also note: someone below said they lose their scent after a few months? Simply incorrect... they get a bit stronger I had an extra bottle of the 509 this is a regular buyer of my extras or blind buys I don’t love and she LOVES it six months later!!

It’s always fun when you buy a cheapie blind buy, and it’s actually pleasant! I find this to be very similar to SDJ and the fact that they have a dupe for coco cabana along with a great price with an edt performance ? Yay!! Will definitely buy from them again. Is it amazing? No! But it’s a fun cheapie budget buy a simple sweet vanilla. Some violet and or plum there’s sweetness and it’s hard to tell what it is.. but it’s there vanilla and sweet KISS simple ? It also layers great with some other scents tha could use a little sweetness. I love to layer this with my glossier you and doux.. I think this and seductive noir by guess are my two fav cheapie buys ever. My only negative, I will say, the bottle is dumb kinda bulky wouldn’t mind something more sleek ha oh also it’s NOT been discontinued like someone said up there 👆 it’s in a darker purple matte opaque bottle now

I no longer support STTES perfumes because all their perfumes lose scent notes within a month or two of purchase. They lie and claim they have EDP quality but they have barely two hour longevity. I contacted them for assistance and they just ignored me so I will not be purchasing any of their low quality fragrances in the future. STTES is tiktok trash. Not everything hyped on tiktok is good as it claims to be.I don't buy sdj because they are pretentiously expensive so I don't know what that version smell like. I just know this WAS my top fave by sttes. I don't get nutty or plastic-y. I also don't use salon shampoo so I cannot make that comparison either. I get sweet floral powdery. It's a nice feminine scent. I don't think the orchid note is too sharp and this fragrance pretty much solidified that I like several fragrances with an orchid note as well.

Just got this in the mail today ! I'm extremely happy with my purchase, while it's not a 100% SDJ 59 (it's a bit more floral and powdery), the dry down is veeeery similar to the OG. This perfume is also more long lasting than SDJ 59, which is noticeable for about 30 min then sits very close to the skin. I sprayed this on this mortning and can still smell it on me hours later, without needing to put my nose to my wrist. I think I might even like this perfume more than the body mist ! For the price, the perfume's amazing !

For $15 this was a great blind buy. Most of my TikTok shop perfumes were a miss, but this one was I love! It smells exactly like SDJ 59, which is the perfect clean girl slightly floral vanilla scent that reminds me of sweet fluffy clouds.

It’s a great dupe to 59 in a world where there’s no other 59 dupes. I use it on a regular basis and use it interchangeably with 59. The staying power feels a little longer than the fragrance mist. I’m happy with my purchase.

This smells exactly like SDJ 59 but lasts longer especially on clothing! I love to pair them together for a light scent that lasts all day.

Forget the Burberry bottle, this is exactly SDJ 59 at a literal fraction of the price. 509/59 smell like my childhood baby blanket coming out of the hot dryer; just earth shaking waves of nostalgia here. Its obviously no beastmode fragrance but I find this actually hangs out for a while, getting around 3 hours of performative wear. When I wear to sleep, this is still fully detectable the morning after. 😇

smells a lot more floral than the sdj 59. can barely smell it in you after you sprayed on. kind of chemically and just not what I was expecting. i’ve only had it for less than a month and am already through so much of it because i feel like it barely smells, do i don’t know if it’s worth buying the cheaper option. I like how the sdj 59 smells better

I recently purchased the latest version in an opaque purple bottle called No 05, by STTES. I also have a Miim Miic Violet Orchid Woods which is a dupe for SDJ 59. I would say that the Miim Miic version is much closer to SDJ 59 than STTES. It is much sweeter and softer. For whatever reason, the STTES bottle is very screechy and reminds me of Empire Victor from Khadlaj even though they have totally different scent profiles. There is something strong and sharp that lingers when the rest of the perfume has evaporated. I had such high hopes for this perfume but it 's just not good. There aren't a lot of dupes for SDJ 59 so I can see why this is worth a shot, but my honest review is that it's not worth the money. It smells cheap and screechy.

this perfume was such a huge let down for me :( i love love love the original sdj 59 scent profile because of that soft powdery vanilla fragrance, but this perfume to me smells oddly nutty and plasticky, with too sharp of an orchid note. it lacks that lovely softness, and whenever i smell it on myself i hate it unfortunately. i'm really disappointed because i was so excited to see if there was a more long lasting option for this scent but nope

This was such a disappointment, a let down from first sniff. I was expecting something closer to 59. It lacks the sweetness that 59 has, to me it smells very plasticity. When I open it, it’s like plastic, powdery, synthetic, chemically florals not in a good way. I was expecting a lot better! It doesn’t last longer than 59, at least on my skin. I used it as a work fragrance and would top it off every 2-3 hours or so. I worked with pre-teens and teens at the time and felt like this fragrance matched some of the fragrances the girls would wear. I have managed to use up a significant portion of this fragrance and now that it almost gone I’m tossing it, because I can’t stand another wear. Yes to my nose it’s that bad!!! I had my mother sniff this & for some reason she said it smells like a very heavy men’s fragrance. I’m shocked goes to show how we all smell things differently! Overall: Skip, save your money I really don’t understand the hype. Quite a big let down for me, I’m not going to repurchase anything else from the brand. I was expecting something so yummy based on the reviews here, with a lot more violet. Even a violet baby cologne is less offensive than this fragrance.

This smells amazing. Very good, solid dupe for Cheirosa 59. Smells pretty much identical and isn't weak like I expected it to be either. I'm full of cold and could still smell it on me yesterday and when I went into Gregg's both of the girls behind the counter, one was quite far away from me, said I smelled amazing and asked what I was wearing. It was this sprayed on top of Zara Fields At Nightfall. Even with the smell of all the food and coffee machines they could both really smell my perfume. I can't tell the difference between this and the original. The original is probably stronger but it's hard to say right now with my nose not working properly. Either way though, I'm more than impressed with this, especially for the price. 100ml for £18 in the UK. For people who don't know what 59 smells like. It's a sugary, very round edged, ambery vanilla with what I'd have sworn was caramel. Just a beautiful, addictive, warm gourmand with a hint of florals and a creamy sandalwood base.

I’m reviewing #06 Midnight Jasmine in the blue bottle, which isn’t yet on Fragrantica. I bought this as a blind buy to add more Jasmine & Vanilla to my collection. For me, this is a daytime scent, bc I my night scents tend to be much darker. I like the scent. It’s doesn’t feel expensive or complex, but it does have a slightly more mature quality to it which I enjoy, thanks to the patchouli amber blend. The black current fruits are present in the beginning, but the dry down is white florals, vanilla, and amber. I wouldn’t describe this as fruity. Don’t believe TikTok hype about the projection and longevity of this brand. In my honest opinion, this is weak. You have to douse yourself and your clothes with 20 sprays for it to last beyond an hour. The bottles are ugly as sin. Looks like a shampoo bottle. With all that being said, I dnt regret buying this. It’s something I can keep in my gym bag or car, or use when I’m lounging around the house.

This is clearly a higher-concentration version of SDJ 59. It smells almost identical—clean, fresh, and delicious orchid notes blended with a hint of vanilla. It gives a very elevated, high-end spa-like feeling.
