Whenever I put this on my friends would always ask did I just took my shower. LOL. The black pepper is very strong and can be smell in the opening and the dry notes. But this perfume doesn't last that long I would say it might last for 3 hours on me. It gives the freshness and clean kind of scent. I usually wear this whenever I'm out for jog. But I would say that I won't repurchase it.

I bought the original Fujiyama years ago and fell in love with it. It reminded me of CK One. I figured I'd try Fujiyama Love Story based on the notes. I've used fragrances that have one or more of the notes featured in Love Story (orange blossom, passion fruit, and apple), and in those fragrances, the notes were well blended. I've also used fragrances with the black pepper note, and it works just fine in those fragrances. But not in Love Story. I'm 100% certain that the note that simply doesn't work for me in Love Story is the black pepper. This fragrance opens quite loud, sharp, and strong. Even on the dry-down, the pepper is just too loud for my taste. I passed this along to my sister and she seems to like it, but we're both in agreement that this one is not worth repurchasing.
