Papa's Waffles

This one is growing on me. I’ll tell you why. Papa’s Waffles is like syrup-soaked waffles with a pat of butter dissolving into the yummy maple lake. Somehow, I get a green note out of this. Forest green. As if you’re eating these waffles out in the woods. My bf says it smells “like straight-up maple syrup” but honestly, despite the notes, there’s something woody or green here. That scent cutting through the sweetness is what makes PW interesting. Stops it from becoming just another sweet scent like Hey Confessors. Perhaps the green I get is actually a candle or potpourri vibe? I noticed Suc has that in a lot of their fragrances. Well anyways, it works here, I can get past it. And I promise I usually can’t stand that scent. I’ve been using PW every day. It’s truly a relaxing scent for me. I mean, imagine sitting on the earth, back against a big tree, forking waffle triangles into your mouth, syrup and butter scents wafting through the trees. That is always the image PW brings to mind. I didn’t have a dad growing up so that explains my interpretation. Give it a try if you like gourmands.

I saw someone refer to this as sexy brunch and I must admit that's a great description! Its so yummy! Its a littlest smokey, a little bit buttery goodness, and oh so good. Definitely full sizing! I can't wait until the world opens back up and I can wear this to brunch and smell like a snack!!

Respect to the perfumer for creating a nostalgic mood. This is definitely coffee brewing, syrup warming, waffles steaming in the iron. It’s not something I want to smell like but if those smells are a comfort to you, I imagine this could be a wonderful scent for you.

This smells exactly like maple syrup, waffles, and coffee--but this would be better as a candle. I got serious candle/air freshener vibes from this one. I'd might like the morning weekend air in my kitchen to smell like this, but on me, it's a no go. I just smell like I dipped myself into a vat of wax in the candle factory!

went to this website twice and although the scent profiles were intriguing the general website turned me off. Finally i got past the profanity and low class filth and I built up a generous shopping cart then proceeded to check out but instead of having my credit card process I am slammed in the face with a big disclaimer telling me to first agree to their terms. So I read the terms and basically it says they want to take their time with your order and sit on it for a month before shipping it out and if it gets lost in the mail they don't care so I closed the page never to return. in addition there is no hype about them

I was gifted a nearly full 1.7 oz bottle of this in a trade, it smells delicious, absolutely like waffles and maple syrup! 😊 I'm not a gourmand fan, so if anyone is interested in a trade, let me know! 👍🏼

I love how this smells, but I can't stand wearing it. It makes me feel untidy, as if I have spilled breakfast on myself.
