This is a gorgeous entry level middle eastern fragrance that Westerners will enjoy. It will have mass appeal and gain complements. Personally I wish it had more oud and more animalic. This is a sweet fragrance with a nice powedery amber. This is unisex but leans masculine. I could see ladies rocking this easily. I would put this in the same class as Oud for Greatness. Not the same scent but same old/like category that is easier to wear. IMO the best from this house. I will probably add some oud oil with this one to give more fire lol. Blessings :)

This is a very sexy fragrance which features spicy,oudy,leathery and powdery notes. It literally smells like a sheikh. Its definetly a compliment getter. I would easily recommend wearing it on summer nights but in my opinion its an all year wear fragrance. Its also good for special occasions. If you want to buy a woody, spicy fragrance this is a must.

True gem! Reminds me a bit of of cuir infrarouge, oud cadenza and oud stalion maison crivelli? Nice sweetness of the amber with a pleasent oud. Yup i think of an oriëntatie spice market. I also detect a freshness. For me personal 9/10

- The dominant frankincense (olibanum) is what gives it its uniqueness. This is a very rare ingredient. - In my country, frankincense is burned during church masses and actually has a very nice scent. - If someone doesn’t know the scent of frankincense, they often describe it as smoky, musky, animalic. - Interestingly, it smells completely different up close than from a distance. - Up close, it has a bit of a dill and dry wild herb aroma :) - From a distance, it’s leathery, slightly smoky-woody, but not like tobacco smoke or sweet pipe smoke! It’s frankincense. - I had an interesting feeling when I smelled it: it has a kind of “modern scent.” You might find this smell in a modern, futuristic furniture store. - So the smokiness doesn’t evoke old, bygone eras or the smoke of an old bearded man with a pipe; it’s much more youthful—young people can confidently wear it. - Because of the frankincense, this perfume is definitely worth paying attention to! 10/9

#1720 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this as a decant from scentsplit.com. They want $150 for a 50ml bottle and others want double that. Not carried by the usual discounters here in the states and there’s a message there. It’s an indifferent oud scent, nothing special as oudy scents go, and the performance is middling. I started to count up the oud scents I already have that are better than this for less money and stopped counting at thirty. If I had blind bought this I’d curse my stupidity as this is something I’d give away or donate to the men’s shelters. I asked myself a simple question: “This costs roughly the same as the bottle of Dolce & Gabbana “Velvet Desert Oud” I already have on the shelf. If I owned both, which would I reach for first? The D&G every time, no contest. If I were out of D&G, where would this fall among my other oud scents? Not even in the top ten.” As a test I did a side-by-side of this and Jaguar “Oud for Men.” The Jaguar smells better, projects more, lasts longer. The Jaguar is $16. So wouldn't be a buy for me at a fifth of the price. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

Lovers of opulent, oriental fragrances with a very strong Oud presence, you will find something here that will satisfy you. An incisive, strong fragrance that immediately takes you back to far-away atmospheres and worlds. The Oud here is very strong indeed, with slightly animalic notes, dominating the whole composition together with leathery tones that only intensify the scent.
