Mystery Saffron

Mystery Saffron is a fitting name for this fragrance. The saffron immediately hits you with a bold, spicy punch upon spraying. As the saffron settles, a sweetness emerges, accompanied by a subtle, milky undertone and hints of rose lurking in the background. There’s a lot happening here, which is likely the "mystery" aspect—layers of sweetness, lactonic nuances, and other complex notes that are hard to pin down. As it dries down, the saffron transitions into a leathery, musky creaminess, still intertwined with rose. Expect room-filling projection and incredible longevity—this one performs like a beast.

Visiting Superz showroom, I was shown this one at the very beginning of the testing. It didnt grabbed my attention first, but when we reached the end of the list, I was left with 4-5 fragrances to choose from. This one accidentally were left in my top 5, and I must say I am so happy, because smelling this after a good 5-10 minutes, was a whole new experience. Sweet spice, with some oriental vibe, it didnt take too long for me to realise that I must buy this one. As a gift I receveid a lot of samples, I am testing those, so far Gentleman and Memories gold those I set my eyes on!

A very unique spicy fragrance! I had a sample from Superz (I am working through some of their offerings). I am a big fan of spicy, incense, leather, etc. and this one is such a pleasant, unique surprise! Honestly, it doesn't smell like anything else I have ever tried. I don't get much leather except in the deep background. Also, the sweetness and fruityness play a minor role to my novice nose. To me it is VERY enjoyable and it certainly gets added to the 'BUY' list.

Sick fragrance, hard to describe, fruity and sweet, but very moderately. I ordered online, honestly just wanted to spice up my collection. Did not really see any content on it, so I did not know what to expect, but it surprised me in the most positive way. Definitely has a mysterious vibe, so I would suggest to use it for dates/night outs, gonna work like a magnet!

I got mine when I visited Budapest! Very powerful, like the rest of their perfumes, I wanted something different beside my Endless Sea, and I think I made a good choice, because ladies seem to enjoy it as well. I will buy more when I go to Budapest again this spring !!!

I was a little sceptical at first with the brand. Bought a couple bottles but some of them got boring over time. Not this one! For me at the moment, this is the best from the brand. Easy 8 hour longevity and a strong sillage. It has a little champagne feel for me.

Superz Mystery Saffron is delicious. No, it isn't a gourmand, it's just well blended and rich. I own a dozen Superz fragrances and this has to be one of my favorites, though all of them are well done. I highly recommend the house as well as Mystery Saffron.

Love at first sniff, a lot of saffron and rose, im not a huge rose perfume fan, but this one is blended nicely. Sweet but not too much, and strong. This projects af. Overall 9/10

I bought some Superz perfume in the shop. Its a really nice place, it has elegant unique furnitures, behind the windows shows up the hungaryan Parlament... the mood sells the luxury feeling, but thats it. They have a lot of perfume products, most of them are unisex fragrances. The marketing company is in Hungary, i think the last perfume making phase happens in Hungary, because the noses behind the brand are Turkish master perfumers. I like the perfumes with strong, unique smell, long duration and great sillage. Mystery Saffron: As it's name say, its a mysterious blac currant -tonka - saffron based fragrance. The fragrance feels egzotic, and rich in smell, with a touch of turkish/arabish style of fragrance. For the first 2-3 hours it projects like hell. No joke, theese perfumes fills the room. Sadly, after the first few hours, the sillage reduces instantly, and it becomes an arm-length range perfume at max. I noticed the fragrance around 5-7 hours, after that almost innoticable/or 1-2 cm body range for me. My girlfriend experienced the same with all the products that we tryed. The Sunday: Its weaker than the Mystery Saffron. It has a liqurish amber-vanilla- caramellized apple fragrance. Catchy smell, but fades fast. Memories: It has delicious gourmand smell, like a cinnamon-caramel-chocolate-orange mix - so basicly an Xmas cake smell. Duration is the same. Abu Dhabi: It has a uniqe arabic ambery-oud fragrance. Some compare it to the Baccarat 540 - its not close for that one, in duration, and smell depths at least. The first 2 hours actually better. Each perfume on the collection has a strong door kicking opening, to sell the product. They boost a big sillage for the first hours, but after that, they starts to weaken, and than deplete fast. I had the feeling, that i've smelled most of the fragrances before. I think the "rip offs" - that somone mentioned - its a bit harsh, but as far as i can tell, they copyed some of the mainstream fragrance smell baselines (Baccarat 540, Sauvage edt, Armani Stronger with you, Terre'd Hermes etc.) throw them some horsepower at the start, and gave them some turkish/arabic vibe. They changed the overall vibe, so they are at most just "similar" for the mainstream fragrances - i dont think they are copycats. The smells are nice, i liked them. Most of them are unisex. I think the prices are a bit high, 50ml sell in HUF 32 - 52.000, 70-150€, so its not the cheap end. They are in par with a lot of mainstream EDT-s and perfumes, but they are far behind the niche territory perfumes, or the big brand names. The main issues for me are the longevity, and the fast reducing sillage. The bottles are nice, with magnet cap. I think they are selling you more hyped "value" - across the luxury feel, and the kickstarting first impressisons - than whats really inside. They are not bad fragrances at all, but if they could boost the duration, the deal would be much better.

Smells in the same realm as Initio Side Effect mixed with Tumi Continuum, but with less depth and way sweeter. Is it a good alternative to Side Effect? It's cheaper and definitely smells cheaper so perhaps? I would personally save for the real deal.

To me, the saffron scent is too overpowering and cloying; even just one or two sprays sometimes feel like too much. It won’t be my favorite.

I had this for about 2 days than I sold it. Massive headache all day and I can not bear saffron notes in any fragrance since then. I can not argue with the performance because even days after I could smell it in the house.

Want this identical scent but done better? Get Azha Blue Saffron. Quarter of the price, better scent profile with slight caramel sweetness and better performance. Thank me later 🙂🙏

Very similar to Xerjoffs Tommi Iommi Deified, you might like this or the other one more. Definetely cheaper than that tho
